And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable.
