Carnitas Street Tacos plate

This is a brand new causal Mexican eatery in this area. There was another location of theirs I kept wanting to try but never made it over there. Sadly that other one shut down. I was so excited to see this one as I was in this shopping area for other errands. Parking was a breeze in this huge lot. Walked right in and was greeted and seated immediately. Party of 4, drink orders taken immediately. The chips and salsa brought were delicious, chips were hot and fresh. The food was so good. Prices could be slightly lower. No cocktails this time around. They have a full bar. Service was very good. I'm definitely coming back , I hope they do great here in this shopping center.

A mid day break for lunch found us at Ajuua Mexican. The atmosphere is casual and at lunch time fairly quiet. There is ample parking right near the restaurant as well. The vibe is friendly and our waiter seated us shortly after arrival. The chips and salsa are filling... the salsa was tasty, we asked for more. It was half off apps day and chose their guac dip which comes on a fried tortilla bowl with lettuce and chips. Delicious! Drinks were also half off... but we didnt partake as we were still working. There are about 6 lunch options and ample vegetarian choices. We both chose the crispy chili relleno... mine with vegetarian black beans and my friend chose Colorado Chili. The dishes were typical Mexican style dishes. The only cons... it was clear that the Chili Relleno was refried... It came out darker and harder... but was crispy for sure! Thankfully it did not taste burnt. And, I had asked for vegetarian black beans... my dish came out with their non-veg refried beans. Rather than give me a new dish, the waitress just brought out a small bowl of black beans. It just made it harder to enjoy the whole dish. I ended up taking most of it home. The food is not bad... and comparable to most Mexican chains. The service was great... Just not sure I'd come back, as I have a another Mexican restaurant that is my go to...

Finally! So happy to have a great Mexican restaurant close to Blackstone/Southlands! The food portions were beyond what we expected for the price. The margaritas were on point as well. However, our server Donna was so friendly and helpful that it made the experience even better. We will be coming back for sure. Especially, to enjoy their specials!

Street Tacos de pork carnitas!

We're lucky in Colorado. For those who love Mexican food, we have all the choices and many fine restaurants. Standing a surprising head and shoulders above the normal fare, though, is Ajuua. Relocated in a hard to see but easy to love location in Centennial, this place just gets better and better. Today I had a cheese quesadilla appetizer, followed by the Carnitas Street Tacos. The quesadilla was hot, well grilled and very cheesy. It had a buttery taste that was enhanced by the lovely house salsa and a splash of Tapatio... trust me... yummy. The street tacos come 4 to an order, you're not able to mix fillings, but, trust me again, once you taste the pork carnitas you won't want to, nor will you ever crave "regular" gringo style tacos ever again! The food is only matched by the service. My new "menu advisor" Aranza, is a superb server, with a great attitude. She has real pride in the food and drinks she serves, and it shows. This place is epic, and as I said, only getting better as they settle in to their new digs! Highly recommended.

Wow... first time here... and disappointed... my food came out cold.. but the plate was burning hot... sent it back and they burned it... I can go to McDonalds and feed family of 15 less than how much they charged for 2 people.... Our server did not even welcome us in just went straight to asking us what we wanted to drink... very disappointed. Loved when it was the copper pot. Had better experience! Don't recommend.

Discada

Decided to check out this place tonight and it was a great choice... food was amazing, staff was friendly and greeted us nicely. Restaurant is clean, well put together and seems brand new. Discada paired with queso fundido was 10/10... definitely will be back!

This restaurant is now closed. Hardly a surprise when your service takes a nose dive. Used to be such a great place. Shame!

The acoustics here are not the greatest as it was rather loud and we had a difficult time in hearing the hosts. We still had fun as our group came in 3rd out of 12. Service was fantastic. Our waitress greeted each one of us as we arrived and placed our orders quickly. The food however, is not so great. I had the beef sliders and an iced tea. As soon as I got home after the event, I was sick. My friend ordered the taco special ($2 Taco Tuesdays after 7p) and the one thing she noticed was that the food seemed like everything came from a jar, can or freezer. Come for a drink, stay for the fun but maybe consider food elsewhere.

It was a bit longer of a wait than expected but it was worth it. The decor was warm & welcoming, I especially liked the art work & noticed there were some art pieces to purchase as well. The staff were friendly & attentive. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. There is also a small outdoor patio. We ordered the Full Nachos with Chicken, Steak Fajitas, Cheeseburger & Fries, Plantains & Chips with a yummy Salsa. Not only were the nachos delicious, (minus the peppers & onions), the portion was huge. Speaking of huge...the fajitas could have fed two people. The steak was flavorful & very tender. We were happy to see a burger on the menu for those not wanting anything spicy. The burger was good with tons of fries. We finished our meal with the plantains that were dusted with cinnamon sugar...you could tell they were homemade & they were wonderful. I look forward to trying some of their tacos next time.

We love stopping at Three Margaritas anytime we're in Denver. It's conveniently located not too far from the airport, which makes it an easy and reliable choice when traveling. The food is consistently delicious--you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personal favorites include the enchiladas, tacos, chicken, mole, rice, and beans--everything is full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service was also excellent: very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. This place is an absolute gem, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food in the area. We'll keep coming back!

The beef is braised and cubed and I always customize mine with black beans over refried. Also a bonus are the sopapillas. They are served six to an order (perfect for sharing) and are not overly sweet (just the right amount of cinnamon sugar and honey). The entrees are of great portions (enough to make two meals) and the beverages will satisfy every palate. Though the menu doesn't list it, the bar staff will make a flavored ice tea. We were able to customize ours by asking for light purée/syrup. Peach is a wonderful go to for a lightly sweet option. Seating is plentiful as we were seated right away. This on a (what is normally) a busy Sunday lunch hour during NFL season. I was very impressed with how well the dining room is kept up. There was a large group seated next to us and, well, we all know how kids can get. Shortly after their departure, the staff cleared the table and swept the floor, erasing all evidence of the mishaps. I always take notice of how clean seating is and the waiter/bus person even wiped down the chairs. Super to note!

Our server was very attentive and gave us some suggestions on his favorite tacos. Tacos come with a choice of a corn or flour tortilla. I had the quesabirria taco on a corn tortilla.
