Food not good. They used something other than ground beef. They sell it as ground beef, but it's not it smells and it's too too small crumbly it just was not good. The service the waitress took forever to come take our order. She took forever to refill our drinks, it was not a good experience. The ambience was not good. They made you feel like you were outsider. There was no homie feel or good vibe to the restaurant will not be going back and will never tell someone to go there to eat.

Once again rancho alegre did not disappoint. Met some friends there for breakfast and they have a great selection. The food tasted great. The service was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was cool. I think more people should be hitting this little gem of a spot up. Only issue i had was that its advertised on menu and differwnt places that its open at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays. This is NOT the case. They open at 9:30am.

I had to tell you I was a little flabbergasted when I walked in given it was 11 o'clock, but I was really craving Huevos Rancheros and when I tell you my jaw hit the floor when I saw it was $18 it almost made me wanna leave because I wasn't expecting to pay that amount. Since it was a party at two and one of my favorite dishes is a molcajete we decided to split that instead. It was delicious. Definitely nice and savory. Came with flour tortillas, which I would've preferred handmade, but just a preference of mine.. our waitress was incredibly sweet and the restaurant is modern Mexican decor, and well kept up. Great place for some dinner options but if you're looking for affordable breakfast, definitely not the spot.

Clean bathrooms. I saw an employee go outside and suck down huge vape hits in less than a minute and then go back inside for work. Please give them longer breaks.

    Chili Relleno and Chicken Chimichanga

My wife and I ate lunch here for the first time. The restaurant is nicely appointed and inviting. The chips and salsa to start were fresh and tasty, though more seasoning would have helped. The huevos rancheros I ordered were good. The stars were the beans and rice, because the chili was a bit plain and had zero zip. My wife had a chili relleno and chicken chimichanga. Again, both were nice but would benefit from some additional seasoning. The service was fast and friendly.

Ordered ceviche for the first time. Delicious! Portion was huge. Food came out in 10-15 minutes. Our waiter was great

A low-key Mexican restaurant with a nice vibe, great staff and tasty food! Walked in at 12:30 and there was hardly anyone inside which makes me sad because the food is great. There are a couple tvs and there are several different seating areas. They could also definitely accommodate bigger parties as it wasn't busy. Every staff member that we had an interaction with greeted us with a smile and were lovely people. The menu is extensive and it was hard for me to choose something to eat. I decided to go with a safe option and got the order of 5 carnitas tacos for only 11.95. I got 2 more tacos for the same price compared to another place I went to a month before. A great value for the price and wow were they juicy and flavorful. Some of the best I have ever had! I wish I had ate here sooner because this might just be my go to Mexican restaurant from now on!

This place is the real deal! Huge portions, fresh and tasty. The service was super friendly. There were two birthdays being celebrated while we were there and the whole team came out and was super festive! It makes me want to have my birthday here. The restaurant is big and the seats are comfy. 10/10 would highly recommend!

The menu is on the wall and hard to read so I asked the woman behind the counter if they had a paper menu, She rolled her eyes and pushed one across the counter like I was inconveniening her. I placed my order, and she told me to go find a table and the food would be out soon. As soon as I sat down, she came out and brought me my coffee. I asked for cream and sugar, and she said it was on the counter inside. It was a giant cup of coffee (which is awesome) but it was filled to the top. So I burned my hand when I spilled it, trying to get in sugar. By this time I was very frustrated. I went back to my table and my food came up almost immediately. The server was smiling and friendly. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. Iordered almond les leches french toast, cheese grits and bacon. The greats are okay, but nothing specia but the french toast was out of this world. It was thick, cut, smoked bacon that tasted fantastic. The server and the food saved this visit for me. I am going to assume that the woman at the counter was having a bad day and not let it keep me from coming back.

The space is nice and quaint but the seats at the high top tables made for an uncomfortable sitting situation for me. My butt isn't big but it's not small but I kept sliding while seated as did my husband so he grabbed a yellow chair from the bar. We even had a conversation with the table next to us and they experienced the same thing! Anyway, I ordered the grilled chicken avocado sandwich and the house potatoes and a coke. Not bad, loved the house potatoes and a side of bacon cooked extra crispy. My hubby ordered pancakes, two patties (frozen) eggs and house potatoes too. He said they were ok but ate the food any way. The customer experience wasn't bad at all the waitress was quick and doing her best to get the food out hot and fresh. One thing would be great is to ask guests if it's their first time and share the favorites of the house and make recommendations. My suggestions to the owner, please replace the sliding chairs and if you need help getting some wooded high bar chairs, I can help. Would I try it again ?

We went for a late brunch knowing it would be busy on Mother's Day weekend, and were prepared to wait, but had been wanting to give it a try. As soon as we walked in we were ignored by the hostess for an unknown reason, however another girl saw and came over to seat us... great! We get it, it's busy so thought okay awesome we can get right in. She was the best part of our entire experience, probably the only person we encountered who seemed genuinely helpful and aware. We sat outside and the table was filthy. Okay... no biggie it can be cleaned. The server eventually comes over and takes our drink order. When she brings them they spill on the already dirty table, so I asked for some extra napkins and a wet towel to wipe the table if they have it... to which she replied "It'll evaporate." Then a few minutes later another girl came over and tossed two wet-naps on the table and walked away. Did not say a word... okay. Remember: I kindly asked for napkins lol and a wet towel *if possible*. At this point we were looking around for hidden cameras, surely this was a prank, right?????? We waited to see if maybe things could turn around... but it was downhill from the start. We ended up asking for the check for the drinks we had gotten to continue our day on a better note elsewhere. The waitress (who I'm not naming out of grace) had a horrible attitude and just walked away. She brought our check but no one came to take the payment... fine, we were finishing our drinks anyway. Oh! And one of the glasses we got for our drinks was dirty so we were just sharing one cup :) After some time I saw the manager who was cleaning up a table and seemed to wish he could avoid coming over and let him know what happened, he said "he'll take care of it". Then disappeared never to be seen again. So we waited and finally flagged down another person to take the payment so we could head out, we also let her know our experience was shocking to which she was defensive instead of interested. We finally left after an hour of this and went to a local fav and had a wonderful rest of our day-- they even wiped the table without us asking when we got there! We're super chill and I used to work in the restaurant business, so we tend to extend a lot of grace, but the service here was truly unacceptable and jarring. We almost took our parents here last week, so glad we didn't. Would NOT recommend, unfortunately. God bless! (Dirty cup and wet nap pictured )
