Let me start with the service: Excellent! Above 100%. They are so warm and nice. Food was excellent as well. Totally worth it. Portions are big and very filling It wasn't super busy when we arrived (we're early birds), which meant faster service and more chips for us. Win-win. I've been driving by this place for a while and was curious about the food, so I decided to stop in tonight and give it a try. I ordered the Burrito Super, and I have to say, it was one of the best burritos I've had in a long time. It was really tasty and definitely the highlight of my meal. I also tried the guacamole and green chile. The guacamole wasn't quite to my taste and seemed like it may not have been as fresh as I would have liked. The green chile was okay, but nothing that really stood out to me. The side of habanero salsa, however, was excellent. It had the perfect amount of heat and added a great kick to the burrito. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely come back. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other menu items next time. read more

I recently visited this place, and I had a pretty good experience overall. The service was great; the staff was friendly and attentive. When it comes to the food, I enjoyed it, but I did find the tacos and quesadilla a bit on the oily side, which was a little disappointing. On the bright side, everything was flavorful, and I appreciated the variety. Another plus was that the restrooms were clean, which always scores points in my book. Located in the back of the shopping complex this place could be easily missed. We were a large group but got sat immediately as the place wasn't busy. The servers were all super nice and going above and beyond. They seemed a little stressed and but did a fine job. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they really made it special. Quesadilla was LOADED with chicken. Large plate sizes and margs tasted good. read more

Immediately upon walking in the restaurant is clean and vibrant with the great smell of fresh food. We were greeted and service was outstanding. The staff made sure our food was great (which it was!) and had plenty of leftovers to take home. read more

Stopped in to grab a quick lunch after a Home Depot run. The place was pretty empty, so I was curious if it would live up to the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was phenomenal, the drinks were delicious and the carne asada was prepared perfectly. It was such a lovely experience and the staff is warm and inviting. The dining room was exceptionally clean, with a great open vibe. Plenty of parking, easy to get to and fair prices. Don't skip the flan for dessert, it was thicker and more decadent than anticipated, great with a coffee. read more

Server was pleasantly attentive, checked in 5 times. Ambiance is pleasant for being in a large shopping center; above avg. variety of menu items to satisfy everyone. Food delivered in 8 mins: fajitas tasted authentically homemade (a bit bland but took hot sauce well), but The Bowl w/preset flavor choices is the best deal for taste, serving size and value. We're passing thru but for authentic taste like an Hispanic mom would make, here is the place. read more

This restaurant has great authentic Mexican food! Fresh guacamole, yummy refried beans and their carne asada is juicy and definitely not too thin. The staff are awesome so friendly! This is definitely our go to when we come visit from California. read more

Decided to try this new, family-owned restaurant since it is close to my house. I met a friend I hadn't seen in a while to catch up. The servers were great. They were friendly and checked in on us numerous times while we chatted. Drinks and food were brought out quickly. They have a lunch menu until 3:00pm with several specials that are reasonably priced. I tried one of their bowls with fajita steak meat. The meat was plentiful and I was able to opt for just beans and no rice. The pico had flavor but not much spice. The space is inviting with plenty of booth and table seating. This building has had many different restaurants in it. I hope Casa Tequila Grill can make it their permanent home. read more

the location is pretty convenient, there's a decent amount of parking, if you don't go when super busy. the restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. the booth seats are quite comfy & the staff is rather welcoming. the food was quite good, however, the prices are pretty steep. two of us had a 3-item combo, the third in our party had a jalisco steak. the combo was pretty plentiful in terms of portions, the steak was meager at best. the dishes were very flavorful, for sure, but for 3 people who didn't order any drinks, apps, or dessert we walked out $92 lighter & that hurt a bit. we can expect that at flemings or another upscale steak house, but casual mexican... c'mon! that is rather insane & certainly left us wishing that we had gone to jabanero's nearby or another more reasonably priced mexican restaurant. read more

We found this place while driving down parker and wanted to try something new. The place is spacious, clean and very bright/colorful. The server did a great job explaining the menu and clarified our order to make sure it was right. Our food in the restaurant was very good. We took home their green chili and some black bean soup. They were disappointing, but not enough so that I wouldn't go back. The chili was a little salty and very brothy. The black bean soup needed a lot of everything to not taste like canned. We would definitely go back when on that side of town. read more

Update: I have now been several times. My most recent visit, I asked for advice: Pollo Carnitas or Pollo Mexicano with crema and poblano peppers -- the gentleman did not hesitate, and said the Pollo Mexicano with the poblano peppers (I love when reps from a restaurant confidently guide me!). It was delicious!! I highly recommend these guys. Nice, friendly, I always feel welcome and the food is great!!! read more

Wow. We decided to swing in on a whim after my wife drove past the place, and man, I'm glad we did. We showed up a little early so it wasn't busy yet, which probably helped, because the service was on point from the minute we walked in. The food? Fantastic. The salsa, the entrées -- everything tasted fresh and a cut above your average Mexican joint. My wife and I had a couple of margaritas too, and those things were dangerously good. Even the kids were happy, and their menu actually had more variety than the usual "nuggets or nothing" you see at most spots. The atmosphere was solid clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Even the booster seat for our daughter was spotless, which any parent knows is a minor miracle. Overall, we're glad we stopped in. Great food, great service, and a place we'll absolutely hit again. read more

Amazing New Mexican restaurant across from the Cherry Creek state park! The Grande Peach Jalapeño Margaritas were so delicious and HUGE! Shrimp, Chicken and Steak Fajitas were excellent, well portioned and served with fresh sides of beans, rice, pico, guacamole, sour cream. chef's kiss! Churros and Flan for dessert a perfect as well. We were recommended to this restaurant by several friends. Our favorite was Real de Minas on Blackhawk, but they closed. We decided to try Casa tequila grill and we really enjoyed it. The service was great. The food was awesome and we can't wait to go back. We met the owners had a great conversations, and had a very enjoyable evening. We highly recommend this restaurant. We live nearby and saw this new spot opened next to our car wash. Decided to come in and try it! We happened to come during happy hour and got $6.50 house margaritas. My husband got the pollo asado con huevos and the yolk was runny (YUM!) and the chicken was cooked perfectly- tender and juicy. I got a dish recommended to us by our server, it was chicken and rice with a creamy sauce and poblanos. SO GOOD. The service is great- family friendly vibes. Cute, clean set up. We had a late lunch here last week. We both had carnitas burritos. I'm always a little hesitant to get carnitas burritos even though I love them because there's nothing worse than biting into a big gob of fat. Not here! We were very pleased that the meat was lean and flavorful and there were beans and rice in the burrito as well - so a variety of taste and texture. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. We don't eat out often but we will definitely be adding this one to our rotation. read more

Just opened recently, so we decided to stop by and check them out. From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was outstanding! I ordered the Fattoush Salad (made with lettuce, parsley, tomato, onion, cucumber, radish, red pepper and served with their signature dressing) and added chicken shawarma. I couldn't believe the incredible flavor of both the salad and the shawarma. I wanted something reasonably light for lunch that day, and while light-ish, it was very filling! Absolutely loved it! The second time I came in for lunch a month or so later was around 12:30 (again mid-week) and then place was MOBBED! There are a lot of businesses nearby and there is also construction in the area and there are very few options for lunch. The line to order was pretty long and all of the tables were occupied (unfortunately some with people just waiting for takeout orders). Since it didn't look like I would have a place to sit and eat and couldn't do takeout, I ended up leaving. Came back for the third time a few weeks ago (again mid-week) 1:30-ish and brought The Hubs. There was plenty of seating then and no line of people waiting to order. I ordered the Fattoush Salad with chicken shawarma again. And again - it was fabulous! The Hubs ordered the Kafta Entree (all plates are served with rice, cabbage salad, hummus, fries and pita bread). I had a little taste of his lunch and everything was really yummy! This restaurant is small (like 10-12 tables off varying sizes) and strikes me as more of a lunch spot for dining in, and take-out for dinner. It's very clean which says alot. It's next to a gas station and its mini-mart (the restaurant and mini-mart don't open into each other, thankfully, but just share a wall). BTW, this isn't fast food so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry (or maybe call ahead). I've made a mental note to put Mezza into my dining-out lunch rotation - as long as I go after 1:30 or so. Just a thought - I don't know if lunch time is crazy every day, my comment about my second visit was based on being there just once before 1:30. IF it's like that every day, I'm wondering if more seating could be created by making something like a 'community table' in the middle of the room. I think there were three 4-tops in the middle. Maybe pushing them together at lunch time plus adding another table could create more seating and maybe reduce having one person take up a 4-top.

Wife and I split a gyro plate - fries, rice, hummus, salad, gyro and pita - the gyro meat was perfect - great flavor, tender, and moist. I could have eaten an entire plate of just the rice - perfectly made. Just wish there was one closer to where I live.

After reading several positive reviews, we decided to visit on a snowy evening, looking forward to some spicy food and a margarita. The restaurant is festive and inviting, with colorful decor, authentic Mexican tiles, and beautifully carved furniture. We were warmly welcomed by several family members and staff. Unfortunately, our experience after that was mixed. While the service and atmosphere were excellent, the food left much to be desired. The pork carnitas, usually moist and juicy from being slow-cooked for hours, were disappointing. It seemed the pork had been shredded and crisped on the flat top or under the broiler for too long, resulting in dry, stringy meat. The steak ranchero, sautéed with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and spices, was advertised on the menu as being hot (with three exclamation marks). However, we found it bland, and the steak was overcooked, tough, and chewy. On the plus side, the margaritas were spot on. The hibiscus margarita was floral and refreshing. The hibiscus (called Jamaica in Mexico) blended perfectly with the lime juice and tequila. The peach habanero margarita was well-balanced, spicy but not overwhelmingly so. We will definitely give Casa Tequila Grill another try. It may just have been an off night in the kitchen, but the attentive service and friendly staff really stood out. read more

This is not your typical Mexican restaurant with the same menu you see everywhere else. They offer some truly unique dishes that really set them apart, and everything we tried was excellent. The service was extremely friendly from the moment we walked in until we left, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. As we were leaving, multiple staff members thanked us, which really stood out. The margaritas were fantastic as well, made with real lime juice instead of overly sweet syrup, which made a huge difference. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. read more
