This place is really good! I came in the first time about three months ago for a late-ish lunch mid-week (close to 2 PM) and since it was past 'lunch crowd time', it was very quiet in there. I ordered the Fattoush Salad (made with lettuce, parsley, tomato, onion, cucumber, radish, red pepper and served with their signature dressing) and added chicken shawarma. I couldn't believe the incredible flavor of both the salad and the shawarma. I wanted something reasonably light for lunch that day, and while light-ish, it was very filling! Absolutely loved it! The second time I came in for lunch a month or so later was around 12:30 (again mid-week) and then place was MOBBED! There are a lot of businesses nearby and there is also construction in the area and there are very few options for lunch. The line to order was pretty long and all of the tables were occupied (unfortunately some with people just waiting for takeout orders). Since it didn't look like I would have a place to sit and eat and couldn't do takeout, I ended up leaving. Came back for the third time a few weeks ago (again mid-week) 1:30-ish and brought The Hubs. There was plenty of seating then and no line of people waiting to order. I ordered the Fattoush Salad with chicken shawarma again. And again - it was fabulous! The Hubs ordered the Kafta Entree (all plates are served with rice, cabbage salad, hummus, fries and pita bread). I had a little taste of his lunch and everything was really yummy! This restaurant is small (like 10-12 tables off varying sizes) and strikes me as more of a lunch spot for dining in, and take-out for dinner. It's very clean which says alot. It's next to a gas station and its mini-mart (the restaurant and mini-mart don't open into each other, thankfully, but just share a wall). BTW, this isn't fast food so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry (or maybe call ahead). I've made a mental note to put Mezza into my dining-out lunch rotation - as long as I go after 1:30 or so. Just a thought - I don't know if lunch time is crazy every day, my comment about my second visit was based on being there just once before 1:30. IF it's like that every day, I'm wondering if more seating could be created by making something like a 'community table' in the middle of the room. I think there were three 4-tops in the middle. Maybe pushing them together at lunch time plus adding another table could create more seating and maybe reduce having one person take up a 4-top. read more

Wow - just wow. Accidented into this place (yes I made up a word) - but extremely happy we did. Stopped in after the Summit game where Heaps debuted - its adjacent to a gas station but dont let that fool you - EXCELLENT food. The guy at the counter was great - made it clear that everything is made fresh from scratch and it definitely tasted like it. Had some kind of fresh made desert - reminded me of a sweet corn cake with coconut and it really worked. He said he made it fresh. The gyro plate was plenty for two to split for lunch. Wife and I split a gyro plate - fries, rice, hummus, salad, gyro and pita - the gyro meat was perfect - great flavor, tender, and moist. I could have eaten an entire plate of just the rice - perfectly made. Just wish there was one closer to where I live. read more

Don't let this place being in the parking lot of a gas station scare you away!!! I was hesitant at first because when I pulled up, it was literally a gas station but once I experience the service and food, my mind was completely changed. The food is very large portion so I recommend sharing an entrée with someone. The food is truly made all by hand and in-house. It was a bit of a surprising wait to get my food however it was well worth the wait. The owner/chef delivered the food and talked through how it made. I don't know why but every time I go to the Mediterranean restaurant I always get a free dessert. lol This is a fast casual restaurant which has small decor and plenty of seating indoors. Connected to a gas station, quick service, mediocre grape leaves. I tend to judge Mediterranean restaurants on their grape leaves. These are difficult to make correctly, but a staple of this cuisine. I have to say these were disappointing. In addition, the gyro platter I got seemed to be presliced meat and not cut fresh from a rotisserie. For a Mediterranean restaurant this is unacceptable to me and brings down the authenticity. The meal was quick and price was reasonable. My wife felt like Greek food and Mezza came up in Yelp. Well this was one time when Yelp steered me in the right direction. Mezza is a small very clean Greek restaurant. The food and service were both very good. My wife had the Gyro and she proclaimed it the best she had ever had. Instead of being a fat wrap that was hard to hold or eat. It is long and it seemed to have been pressed in a Panini press. This did a couple of things, first it held together really well and it was crisp. We also ordered fries and they were very good. The fries were made fresh and it certainly seemed like they were fried twice the way they are supposed to be made. I had the beef Schwarma plate and it was also very good. While we don't live all that close my wife says it is well worth the ride. read more

I had a sit down meal here with my family and it's definitely a casual spot! It's located right next to a gas station but that shouldn't change your mind from checking it out. We ordered at the counter and sat down. The food when it came was good! Their portions are generous. I took off a star due to the long wait in our food and we saw others being served before us. I saw good reviews on Yelp and decided to give this small business a try. It is located next to a gas station, but do not be deterred. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Items are made to order--Lebanese street food from family recipes--and are worth the wait. The website says small plates, but they are anything but small. At $16.99 for most entrees, it is quite the deal! I decided to try the more traditional beef shawarma plate. This entree had plenty of grilled beef over a nicely seasoned bed of rice. It also came with a small house salad, delicious hummus with pickled veggies and fluffy pita, and homemade fries. Everything was great. Absolutely delicious. While skeptical at first based on the location next to a gas station, I quickly changed my tune when I walked in to Mezza. I opted for the chicken kabob plate. This was a huge meal including two chicken skewers, a small salad, hummus, 4 pita slices, rice, and fries. I have been once before and I'm not sure why we didn't come back until a few days ago, but I'm glad we did. The prices are fantastic for the amount of food you receive, and the flavor is great! We ordered a couple of drinks that they make in house and they were so good! I got the Kafta sandwich, and my partner got the beef shawarma entree. I really enjoyed their pickles and I need to make sure I ask for extra next time lol. You order first and take a seat, and the man helping us was friendly and made great suggestions. Driving up to Mezza the area is quiet & tucked away next to a Gas station. The restaurant itself is ultra modern & clean. You have to order your food, pay, take a seat, food comes to you, & then you bust your own table. We started with the Falafel, the flavor was spot on, the pickles & jalapeños were a nice addition. The tzatziki was questionable, just way too watered down. We both ordered the chicken shawarma plate, it was accompanied by salad, hummus, fries & rice. All the flavors were clean, & delicious. The only thing was When we were served the meal I was a bit confused it was chicken kabobs, like on skewers, but I ordered chicken shawarma. So just a heads up this restaurant is an elevated healthier version of Mediterranean-middle eastern-ish food with Greek influences. If you're looking for a down home greasy, food coma, gyro kabob place this place is definitely not for you. We enjoyed our visit to Mezza Mediterranean Grill, If you're in the area give em a go. My wife and I recently dined there and had the beef kabob and gyros plates. The entrees were delicious and accompanied by nice portions of hummus, salad, rice, and french fries, with pita bread.. Everything was fresh and tasty, with the fries obviously cut and cooked to order. The service is usually pretty quick, but be prepared to wait if there are to-go orders being prepared. Very small staff working at any given time. Food is really good here, hence the potential for wait times. I don't have photos because it's been a while since I ate here. It was Easter 2026. Very smart play to get my lamb because this day there was no wait. The bathroom is clean. We ordered catering from Mezza for 20 people yesterday, and since we found the restaurant online and had never been there before, I was a little nervous about trying somewhere new for our gathering. But we could not have been happier with our choice! From the very beginning, Max, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He took the time to help us determine how much food we would need for our group, and his guidance made the whole ordering process so easy. And the food--WOW! It completely exceeded our expectations! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, with plenty of food for everyone. The salad was so fresh and refreshing, and the gyro and shawarma were fantastic. Here's what I do - on the way to DIA I call them while I'm about 15 min away and place and order a Gyro sandwich to go. Every time I arrive - the sandwich is ready. It's a super legit gyro sandwich that you can think of, and sooo much better than anything I can get at the airport. Conceptually the sandwiches prepared are a good idea. The Gyros for example is made with a nice thin pita style bread that is grilled. Excellent on that choice. This is where it goes bad. The gyro meat is not authentic or shaved it's bought in package meats and grilled. It has almost no flavor. Very little meat in the sandwiches and he adds fries to that which could have tasted great however with a small amount of meat and flavorless the fries and bread becomes almost like chewing paste. Flavorless paste. Bad combination. Gyro Z adds fries however with their real gyro meat it's one of the best gyros in Denver. Unfortunately I can't recommend the gyros here.
