Casa Tequila Grill is a relatively new spot.. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcome. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly, checked in on us regularly. If you're in the area and craving great food, friendly vibes, and a solid marg, do yourself a favor and check it out. Casa Tequila Grill--10/10

Decided to try this new, family-owned restaurant since it is close to my house. I met a friend I hadn't seen in a while to catch up. The servers were great. They were friendly and checked in on us numerous times while we chatted. Drinks and food were brought out quickly. They have a lunch menu until 3:00pm with several specials that are reasonably priced. I tried one of their bowls with fajita steak meat. The meat was plentiful and I was able to opt for just beans and no rice. The pico had flavor but not much spice. The space is inviting with plenty of booth and table seating. This building has had many different restaurants in it. I hope Casa Tequila Grill can make it their permanent home.

the location is pretty convenient, there's a decent amount of parking, if you don't go when super busy. the restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. the booth seats are quite comfy & the staff is rather welcoming. the food was quite good, however, the prices are pretty steep. two of us had a 3-item combo, the third in our party had a jalisco steak. the combo was pretty plentiful in terms of portions, the steak was meager at best. the dishes were very flavorful, for sure, but for 3 people who didn't order any drinks, apps, or dessert we walked out $92 lighter & that hurt a bit. we can expect that at flemings or another upscale steak house, but casual mexican... c'mon! that is rather insane & certainly left us wishing that we had gone to jabanero's nearby or another more reasonably priced mexican restaurant.

Fantastic and quality Mexican food. Excellent tacos, beans and rice, and margaritas. Don't be deterred by the location (end of the strip mall).

I ordered a three taco plate. It was actually pretty good. The rice and beans were good too. the food came out in a very hot platter, kept the food warm to eat. Horchata was not bad. The woman there as my server was extremely nice and very welcoming. Would come again!

Chorizo Tacos, Fresh Guacamole and House Margarita!

I'm so happy this gem has landed right down the road! Service was wonderful! I had the house margarita, chorizo tacos (which have fried potatoes as well) & it was delicious!! Spanish rice and beans were cooked to perfection! Guacamole was delish! Come and support this new small business in our community!!

We did have one drink order get forgotten even after a couple reminders, but they were extremely apologetic and ended up comping it, which we really appreciated. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and not too loud, which made it really comfortable for a larger group dinner. It was a little cold inside, but honestly understandable considering all the hot pots and sizzling dishes definitely warm you up fast. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the lemongrass beef sizzling plate, lemongrass beef short rib sizzling plate, shaken black pepper sizzling plate, Taiwanese hot pot, drunken noodles, and pork belly baos. Everything was super flavorful and came out hot and fresh. The Taiwanese hot pot was especially memorable because it came out in these really cool containers that made the whole experience feel elevated and unique. Overall, the standout here was the service paired with great food. They handled a large party so well and made us feel genuinely taken care of. We'll definitely be back!

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

We arrived at 6 PM for our reservation, got seated around 6:15 PM, and didn't get dessert served until about 9:15 PM. Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours here. The complimentary bread was actually really good -- soft on the inside with a crispy exterior. For appetizers, we ordered the crab and spinach dip and the roasted oysters. Both were flavorful, filling, and probably the best part of the meal. For my entree, I got the Pasta Mardi Gras. The portion size was generous, but the dish was SO salty. The shrimp tasted heavily coated in salt, and the sausage was honestly too salty to eat. I drank 3 glasses of water during dinner because of how salty the food was. We finished with the turtle fudge brownie dessert. The chocolate flavor was rich, but the brownie itself was very dense and hard to spoon through. What also stood out was that the table next to us made a scene about the long wait and ended up receiving a discount. Considering everyone seemed to be waiting just as long, it would've been fair if all tables that night had received some kind of accommodation. Overall, I don't think the quality of the dining experience, service and food reflects the cost of the bill.

I came with a few friends and it was a fun experience to try. You start off by ordering with the waitress and then the subsequent rounds, you order off the QR code that's at the table. The restaurant was pretty busy so we had to wait longer than we wanted to place an order. As far as the food, it felt more like baos and dumplings, not so much the classic dim sum styled foods. Another con was that the menu had so many non available items-items that would have completed the dim sum experience a little better. If you want actual dim sum, go somewhere else. It was fun for the experience and value, so I was glad we came once.

Table next to us says they only come for lunch and feel like they only serve the more wanted items for dinner and just say they are "out" because they've NEVER had it. If that is true, it is highly disappointing. AYCE is 18.99 per person. Here is what we were able to order: 1. Scallion Pancake- good crisp! I liked how light and delicious this bite was 2. Crab Cheese Wonton- these were HOT in terms of temp, but 99% cream cheese so it was okay. 3. Chili Oil Wonton: loved the flavor, however skin was a bit tough, didnt steam long enough. 4. Chicken Wing- very very dry, comes without any sauce or seasoning so its on the side. 5. Pork Bun- a bit dry, but it had a savory flavor too it, not as sweet. 5. Chasu Bun- loved this one more than the 6. Pork Dumpling (did not have Beef)- it was okay, filling was decent, but again the wrapper had a weird bite to it. 7. Soup Dumplings: definitely better than the other dimpling, however they all stuck to the bottom so the wrapper ripped and I never tried the soup. 8. Chicken Feet: i normally love chicken feet but the braised sauce was underwhelming and not very...good? flavorful? 9. House Noodles: the noodles tasted a bit off. Green beans tasted and looked can to me. It just wasn't a favorite. Desserts: 1. Mango was very artificial. 2. Mocha was good, nice chocolatey taste Overall...I dont know if I would be back. I had such high hopes to try the spareribs, taro buns, golden lava buns, beef dumplings, lotus bun, sticky rice, etc. But they were all "out". Again...for an AYCE place at lunch it was $42 before tip and it would've been nice to have the full menu array. The ambiance is very bright and large screens, so it can definitely capture your attention. There was only one main server and she was doing her best.
