In town visiting family and they took us out for dinner, great location with beautiful architecture and a old school traditional dining room with a Colorado flair. Staff was very friendly and organized since it was a Saturday evening at prime dinner hour, our server Megan was on her game taking care of our 6 Top table of hungry family members. She started us with wine and cocktail then moving onto starters and entrees, checking on our table ensuring that all was good and everybody was happy. The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. No complaints from anyone at our table and the portions were perfect. Megan then brought a display of today's Dolce which all looked amazing, we ordered a variety and sampled them all. Seasons 52 is definitely an upscale restaurant, but it tries a bit too hard to be "upscale for the masses," with a gimmicky menu that doesn't overcome the place being overcrowded (and overpriced). FOOD Overall good food, if a little odd. The baked gnocchi and cherry tomatoes in a pesto sauce turned out to be a lot soupier than I expected. My son's pork was well-received. The house-specialty flatbread we had for the table was good. Desserts are served in, effectively, shot glasses. I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. Me and The Hubs had dinner here on his birthday almost three months ago. Based on a one-night experience, I found the restaurant to be inviting and comfortable, and the servers and management were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. On the night we went, the restaurant was very quiet (ie. not busy at all) which surprised me based on other reviews I've read. We perused the menu and ordered drinks, wine and the Grilled Artichokes app to start. We also ordered the Summer Corn Soup, Caesar Salad, Sea Bass entree, and the Lamb entree. Everything was plated well and delicious EXCEPT my sea bass - it was VERY over-cooked. I ate about a third of it before I decided it was a no-go. Our server came around and I mentioned it. Within almost seconds, the manager came around offering a re-do on the fish or how they could make it right. In hindsight I probably should have asked for the re-do to see if the fish could be cooked properly there, but it was getting late and I asked for an assortment of vegetables instead (which were great). I didn't go away hungry! I know we're in a landlocked state (so I rarely order fish out because no one can cook it), but when I saw multiple fish items on their menu, I thought - maybe... Their response to the fish (debacle?) was exemplary and I thought their customer service was incredibly generous considering some comp'd items. I just wanted/hoped to have fish come out cooked right the first time (that's why 4 stars and not 5). I plan to come back. It appears to me that they really make an effort to make sure you're happy. Had an excellent meal here with a friend after work. Our server was hilarious and fit into our Friday vibes. She allowed us to take our time with ordering and chatting, even though the restaurant was really busy. She recommended the best possible choices for us. The Wood-Grilled Kona Crusted Lamb Loin and the Wood-Grilled, Dry-Rubbed Pork Chop were excellent. Both came with yukon mashed potatoes which might have been some of the best potatoes I've had recently. We also ordered the delicious Lump Crab Cake. I usually shy away from ordering crab cakes in a landlocked state as they usually come out tasting fishy. Seasons 52's did not at all. For dessert, we tried a couple of their mini indulgences. The wine list is massive, and one feature I really appreciated was the suggested wine pairings printed with many of the menu items. This was our first time dining with Seasons 52 and we will definitely be going back. We celebrated our anniversary and we were greeted by our server Coleman who gave us complimentary champagne followed by a written card from the staff, and that enough set our expectations. He was absolutely amazing the entire time that we were there. He was kind, attentive, and smiled every time he came to the table. We never had to ask for anything because he was always one step ahead! We had the lobster bisque (not photographed), filet mignon, pork chop (not photographed) and complimentary desserts (not photographed), which all tasted phenomenal at a decent price too! Its been awhile but glad to be back. Not sure what was going on at 5 30 pm Thursday but place was packed. Even the wine cellar tables were broken down to individual tables. Nice to see them buzzing. While visiting Denver this weekend we noticed there was a Seasons 52 nearby. We made a reservation for two! We arrived and although it was below freezing outside, we were quickly seated at a nice table. Our server Ish, came out and answered all our questions and before we knew it we were enjoying filet Mingon with Lobster tail and broccolini, as well as the pesto flatbread pizza and a garden salad. I must say the meal, the service and the ambiance were outstanding. My wife also enjoyed a cocktail, cranberry sage sumthin and it was also spectacular! A very fun dining experience. I went here on a date so I don't pictures to share but I'm more than happy to describe the atmosphere! When you first arrived, there's a very large parking lot. Because my date picked the restaurant I thought he booked a reservation, he did not. They were extremely busy! The hostess said we could try our luck at the bar where it's first come first serve or we could be put on the waitlist, which was roughly an hour and a half. We decided to test our luck and turns out a couple people were leaving so we snagged the spot spots. Be our staff were amazing! Very quick and knowledgeable of the menu. I got the half chicken and I didn't realize how hard it would be to eat haha. It was not a good choice for a first date, but the flavor of the chicken was really good! It was cooked beautifully, still juicy, not dry. It is a little loud in there, so just know you might have to talk louder than normal. I think if we got an actual table, we wouldn't have felt like we were yelling at each other. Overall, the staff was super nice and friendly. I came here on Monday, to celebrate wonderful news, upon the recommendation of a childhood friend, as he told me this is his dad's favorite restaurant, and now I see why! :-) I ordered a glass of Boudreaux wine, the lobster bisque (so delicious, that a fellow patron walked by, to ask me what I'd ordered, as it looked & tasted delicious), and the filet. All were delicious, especially the filet mignon, which I ordered medium-rare, like I always do, and like my Granddad used to grill for our family, growing up here, before he passed away. This filet was on par with my grandfather's. I will say that the service could've been improved, as I was checked on every time I had my mouth full, and yet I had to repeatedly ask to have my water glass filled, so the timing of the service could be improved. This time, it was a business lunch held in their semi-private room to the left side off of their front entrance. Our waiter was quite charismatic and very polished in how he handled our large group. For my first visit here, I went with their Sesame Grilled Salmon Salad, and I did not regret my choice one bit. Tasty, fresh and filling. Seasons 52's menu changes by, you guessed it, the season. This is a fresh concept to bring in new menu items as the calendar turns its monthly pages. This is a place I like to take out of town guests. I haven't been since I moved to Denver from Greenwood Village area but it was my Mother's Day dinner. We had a reservation and needed it as the dining room was quite full. The menu is seafood forward but there are meat, and vegetarian options. I started with the Spinach and Strawberry salad! Yum! Could have eaten more. Others had the white bean soup and the Philly Steak flatbread. After much banter, we chose the Bass, Plank Salmon and Shrimp and grits. Philip our server was pleasantly knowledgeable and answered questions. We also had cocktails, of course! The espresso martini to die for with the cocoa rim, the manhattan and the strawberry marg! Food was great (normal!): roasted mushroom flatbread, cauliflower soup, 6oz filet mignon, and Belgian chocolate s'more mini indulgence. However, service was really slow. Waitress didn't remove dirty plates until they'd been sitting there for 10-15ish minutes (after each course). Only got flatbread and soup after 45 minutes after being sat down. We went on Sunday, Aug 16th for my wife's 75th Birthday. Party of 5 around 2. We hadn't been in 7 years. WOW!!! What a truly amazing experience. Our server was Levi. What a great asset to Seasons 52. So knowledgeable about the menu. He was perfect in every way. Levi brought us a complimentary Prosecco toast. The Managing Partner came over with a red rose and a card signed by staff. The food was amazing. Scallops, Avocado Lobster Flatbread and Rainbow Trout were beyond expectations. A free dessert was brought over for the birthday girl. This was the best restaurant experience we have had in the last 10 years. Such a well run restaurant. We had a 7:15 reservation and we seated at 8. We were given a complimentary appetizer as an apology. We had an 84yo with us and asked to stand in the hallway while they got our table which we thought would be quickly not 45 minutes. Out drink order was taken but the drinks didn't arrive for another 20 minutes. The free appetizer came and was consumed before drinks came. One member of our party had another commitment at 9 so had a leave at 8:40 and our food still hadn't arrived. We had to get his food boxed to go. My food arrived with the veggies missing. Once I pointed this out to our server; a plate with very good asparagus was delivered. We ordered Brussels sprouts for the table. There were maybe 10 brussel sprouts that were cut in half, very tough; and under cooked delivered in a metal tray. For a table of 5, 1 Brussel sprout each didn't seem like a value. I had been here before and loved the experience so had been looking for an opportunity to introduce our group. It was a big disappointment as it turned out. When our bill arrived, the free appetizer was actually still charged "by mistake" and had to be rung up again. We didn't get up from dinner until 9:45. Beautiful salad lunch date at Seasons 52 with Ted, our bartender! We started with the Corn and Bacon Flatbread, crispy crunch, lighter than naan, so delicious! Sallie thoroughly enjoyed the Watermelon Salad, savory sweet with deep pink watermelon, tomatoes and feta. My Steak Salad was perfect, spinach, corn, jicama, maybe onions, blue cheese with a splendid tenderloin, cooked just as I ordered. Not usually a vinaigrette-person, very pleased with this dressing. During the meal, we remarked that we have never been disappointed with dining at Seasons 52. The clientele on the weekend middays are usually middle aged people, wanting to just hang out in an upscale, mildly quiet venue. We saw a few young kids but not usually. My friend and I split the Alaskan halibut entree, and each had a bowl of roasted chicken artichoke soup. The halibut was delicious, but a little small (for the price) when shared. Took my dear friend and colleague last week, it was her first time and the service was superb! The food was amazing and the customer experience was unforgettable. It was Presidents' Day and the place was packed for lunch but we made reservations and got there kinda early so we sat at the bar and I had a yummy Lemon drop.... The service is professional and welcoming at the Lone Tree location, and the bar team of Shyra, Michael, and Kristin met the standard! We revisited last night and unfortunately the evening was marred by a total sense of confusion at the front desk. We had 5:30 reservations and got there a few minutes early. 30 minutes later we were still waiting to be seated - although we saw other 4-person parties come in after us and be immediately seated. We asked politely a couple of times and were basically blown off by the desk, so finally complained forcefully to the manager - suddenly, there was a table for us! The manager, Dakota, was very, very nice and comped us some cocktails - but that's not how it should be! Sadly, this seems to be more common lately (see my Mt. Fuji review) and I don't know if I should even put it in reviews any more. I don't know who or what to blame but it is getting out of hand. The great parts of the service: There were a LOT of people waiting long times for their reserved seating and staff brought out some very tasty complimentary flatbreads to the waiting area for us all. Claudia our server was wonderful. It was one of our birthdays and there was a card signed by the entire staff and a beautiful red rose presented to her! A little free champagne for all of us to toast with, also. Not only did the birthday girl get given one of the mini-desert cups at meals-end, we all did. Also, even though we were seated right next to the area of the bar where all the servers picked up drinks (I'm sure that has an actual name), they were very polite and conscious of what they were doing and didn't disturb us at all. As for the meal... The mushroom soup was exquisite. Probably the best I have ever had. However, during the long wait, the other 3 in my party were eagerly discussing the lobster bisque that they all love. Sadly, they were all disappointed - none of them liked it. When they mentioned this to Claudia she admitted that recipe has been changed recently. That doesn't mean everyone won't like it or that some won't like it even better than before, but I think something like that should be disclosed in advance. And the Caesar Salad seemed blander than before - maybe a new dressing? The butterfish and trout were both excellent (according to my sources!) and the Mac & Cheese was creamily delicious. So, long story short - manager Dakota went out of her way to make up for our long wait, and kept our future patronage, but they could have saved themselves a lot of money by having a handle on things in the first place. Make reservations! I would say this place is between casual and fine dining. I came were for a business dinner around 5:30pm on a Tuesday and I was shocked at how busy it was! Ever table in the restaurant was seated even after we left around 7pm with people waiting. The rotating seasonal items are the fan favorites. The soup options are great, and the butternut squash soup was to die for! The flavor was amazing. The mushroom flat bread was a good starter honestly too many mushrooms for me but that's okay. Main courses also were all raved about, and I decided to get the lobster with a side of Brussel sprouts. The prices were very fair for the quality of food, around $225 for 4 people without drinks. Everything tasted delicious and the portions in my opinion were perfect. I did take off one star because they over sat our area and at that point service went downhill. The area was getting very loud, and our waitress was doing the best she could but with a massive table of 13 next to us she was stretched thin. It also was unfortunate that they crammed so many people into this area. One table that is clearly meant for around 6 people they decided to squeeze 9 people at.
