A little over priced for basic restaurant food. This location is within Park Meadows Mall. Lots of parking spots but might have to park away and walk to the restaurant. They offer reservations but it's not necessary. I went for my friend's birthday and we were a party of 6. Looking at the menu, they offer a 1/2 pound classic cheeseburger for $15.99. As an appetizer, they offer a four count burger sliders at $14.99 and it comes with fries. I asked the waitress how many oz of meat for the four sliders and she said they take a regular burger and cut it into four. So 2oz per burger. It's cheaper to get the sliders over a regular burger. So that's what I did. The sliders were cooked to my like and the fries were fresh and crispy. My friends all go something different and they all liked what they got. First off - brussels sprouts might be the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, perfect char, great spice, and incredible sauce on the side. As someone who loves brussels sprouts I would come again just for these. It's Christmas week and there was a line out the door, but we were able to easily find two spots at the bar. Service was quick and friendly, and we shared poke nachos, fried cheese curds, brussels sprouts, and Birria tacos. I had no complaints about anything. The fried cheese curds were good, but probably the weakest link with the sprouts, a clear winner. I had a house margarita which was solid, and a couple of beers from the wide selection. OK the Yard House is NOT your 5-star fine dining experience. But they do a great Happy Hour. 1/2 priced apps and bucks off wine and beer. 100 beers and they had a really good New England Hazy. Wines for my wife and friend were fine. They had Sliders and although 'uninspired' they were still tasty. I had Calamari and the Blackened Ahi Sashimi with a choice of dipping sauces. The calamari was rather standard fare but the sashimi was wonderful with little dots of wasabi surrounding the plate. It was really plated well. One of the things I observed was how the serve staff were all involved with each other in terms of getting drinks and food served. I ordered the spicy jambalaya with linguini, which was very flavorful with the different variety of proteins including shrimp, sausage, crawfish, and chicken. Strongly recommended! I came here for happy hour last night to wait the rush hour traffic out. I sat at the bar to get immediate seating and was really after one thing: their poke nachos. It never disappoints! I keep forgetting to ask them to remove the jalapeños but I still demolish my plate regardless. It was busy, I get that. But the female bartenders seem to not even be bothered to engage in a pleasant greeting. But, they were busy. I was a little disappointed in their pizza though. I stole a slice from a friend before and it was really good! The one I ordered last night was dry and overcooked. The crust was thin but still soggy and the pepperoni overcooked. Since I was down in Park Meadows for the day and places were starting to close down for the night, my options were getting limited. I said, what the hell, let's see what it's about! The beer menu is still as big as I remember. On the menu they break it down by style, with each beer having a proper description. They had an IPA from Russian River and it hit the spot. You don't find them on too many menus so it was nice to get something a little bit more sought after. Plus, they have happy hours deals that save you a buck or two. Two Pepper Jack ($16.49) // proprietary U.S.D.A. prime blend, roasted jalapeño & poblano peppers, pepper jack, chipotle ranch. with house fries. Great freakin' burger. In a blind taste test, I would never expected this to come out of the Yard House kitchen. I must be missing out. I had the Twin pepper Jack burger and honestly I was underwhelmed. It was really bland and I thought the patty alone could've used way more seasoning. The burger is not something I would return for. My husband's ribeye though was very good and he scarfed it down. Came in after work. Got to the restaurant right before 10pm. Was told the kitchen closes at 10:30 so we ordered drinks and food right away. At 10:25 there was a last call given to others down the bar but two of us weren't offered a drink. When I finally got the bartenders attention he said it was too late to order a drink and one person hadn't even gotten a drink yet, that she ordered. We also had a friend that might have joined at 10:26 but was told the place was closed. At 10:34 the bartender called to someone out in the dining room to make sure the doors were closed. It just seemed like the bartender, which happened to be a closing manager...(which had no problem letting the group that he wasn't suppose to be working today) wasn't interested in hospitality and wanted to go home. Terrible customer service for curbside pickup. Young employees were too busy chatting and messing around to bring my order to me. I had my dog in the car so I called to make sure I was parked in the right area for curbside pickup. I was instructed to park directly in front of the door and informed my order was ready. Then I waited for 10 minutes while I watched the employees screw around. I watched my order sit on the counter while 3-4 employees just stood around. When they finally realized I was still waiting, a girl threw a single set of silverware (for 2 entrees, a salad and an appetizer) in the bag I was watching and brought it to me. By the time I got back to my hotel (less than 5 minute drive), it was cold. The cheese curds were delicious, but cold. The other food would probably be pretty tasty if I had it fresh. Food and service was great. We started off with the poke nachos. My wife loved it, perfect level of spicy flavor. We got our entrees shortly after, Korean BBQ cheese steak sandwich and lobster & shrimp noodles. Both dishes were really good. The sandwich had a hint of spicy and sweet flavors. My wife knocked out half of the noodle dish before tapping out. Parking was a bit of a pain, as it shares it with the mall and other restaurants. But hey, fish like to swim. Soups - basically from a can Overall, there are some pleasants on the menu, but nothing that you'll WOW over. Ambiance - Not for everyone. It's a little large and impersonal, but they have room for larger parties and will probably always have room for a walking. Service - I guess we can't expect Yard House to teach their staff how to be a good server. But basic expectations are that servers will know some of the menu. I asked a pretty basic question in a cider and I got "I don't know." After years in the industry I can confidently say no one cares if you know or don't know -- go find out. Our server brought one incorrect drink forgot one, but was fairly put out to correct it. It wasn't busy when we walked in, but the hostess didn't even look at me when she asked me how many and how many children's menu I needed until she walked us to our table. Then Jaiden came and greeted us and he was so attentive to every at the table. Even when our son quietly wanted rootbeer, or our little daughter not wanting fries with her entree. He checked in on us regularly. We got the ahi crunch salad and it was delicious, the Mac and cheese was surprisingly good, biria tacos was not bad but my son enjoyed the beans and rice, the whiskey wings were really good, didn't get to try the Korean wings but my son said it was good and he'd get it again, the mushroom pizza was delicious. We went for dinner on Sunday during the broncos AFC championship game. My friend had the fish n chips and I had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. Regular food, but it was so delicious (forgot to take pics of that). To end off our meal, my friend suggested the bread pudding. I've never had it and was hesitant as I've heard other people have mixed reviews on eating it (from family recipes, relatives making it, etc). So I said let's order it and I'll take a bite to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. The cream on it was amazing and the bread pudding was so moist. the ice cream on top gave it a nice little kick as well but it wasn't sweet at all like some other deserts can get-a perfect balance.
