3 Margaritas is a definite establishment for a cure to the "hangry". I'm a big fan of the Burrito Colorado because it satisfies the "hangry" within me. The beef is braised and cubed and I always customize mine with black beans over refried. Also a bonus are the sopapillas. They are served six to an order (perfect for sharing) and are not overly sweet (just the right amount of cinnamon sugar and honey). The entrees are of great portions (enough to make two meals) and the beverages will satisfy every palate. Though the menu doesn't list it, the bar staff will make a flavored ice tea. We were able to customize ours by asking for light purée/syrup. Peach is a wonderful go to for a lightly sweet option. Seating is plentiful as we were seated right away. This on a (what is normally) a busy Sunday lunch hour during NFL season. I was very impressed with how well the dining room is kept up. There was a large group seated next to us and, well, we all know how kids can get. Shortly after their departure, the staff cleared the table and swept the floor, erasing all evidence of the mishaps. I always take notice of how clean seating is and the waiter/bus person even wiped down the chairs. Super to note! read more

As I focus on eating healthier in every environment I am in this was a MAJOR overcoming moment! To get a salad at a Mexican restaurant is border line diabolical lol. The fajitas were calling my name. Best freaking 3 margaritas in the whole Denver area. My family and I go at least once a month because I literally crave their beef enchiladas verdes and rice. The food is superb, the music is always so fun, and the vibes are great for a family outing or even for a nice solo meal (I've done both!). Marilu has served us and been so good to us every time we come in, she is so attentive and so kind and hilarious! Memo has also been my waiter and he is the coolest nicest guy ever! I finally stopped by here for the first time the other day. Place was packed on a Friday night. Staff was nice and friendly. I love Mexican food but this was average at best. Not bad but not anything I would want to go back for. Burrito, enchilada rice and beans. Light on flavor and spices. Drinks were fine. Nothing special. We will try again down the road and order something different to see if it is better. read more

I used to love Las Margaritas in Woodinville, WA as a kid. They've thus since closed but we found them again under this new name. We love stopping at Three Margaritas anytime we're in Denver. It's conveniently located not too far from the airport, which makes it an easy and reliable choice when traveling. The food is consistently delicious--you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personal favorites include the enchiladas, tacos, chicken, mole, rice, and beans--everything is full of flavor and clearly made with care. The service was also excellent: very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. We were disappointed on our latest visit to the Smoky Hill location. The green chili was bland, my wife loves the cheese dipped enchilada usually not the case this visit. The Carnitas Burrito was lacking seasoning as well. Our server David did a good job considering he was buried by a very demanding table of 8 not to mention he was triple sat. Now for some good news. The Ensalada Tapatia was very tasty as well as the Chili Relleno. The dinning room was crowded it felt like tables were added to get more folks in that made it hard to walk around. First off, the decor is excellent and the service was friendly and quick. The guava margarita was incredible and you can get any margarita in a 40 ounce variety, huge win. They actually have spicy salsa (habanero) which I feel is really hard to get these days, and the chipotle steak burrito was a good size and delicious. Highly recommend. read more

We usually enjoy this restaurant due to their yummy food and amazing service. We went on a Friday evening and they were somewhat busy. All of our food was amazing, with the exception of my salad which arrived without the dressing. It was difficult to get ahold of our waiter to request the dressing. I would have to rate the service as poor because he never checked on us, or came back to refill drinks. I will say this is unusual and it might have just been a busy night. read more

Every time I come here I enjoy it. Authentic Mexican food and so flavorful. The wait staff was attentive to our needs which has been rare in my experience (coming from NYC). You walk in and it's like being in a cantina, the colorful vibe adds to much to the atmosphere (they have these dope colorful seating options and it creates a great vibe). Food is great, chips are fresh and crispy and a spicy salsa served a little less chunky. Chicken was seasoned and my tacos came hot and fresh. Food was absolutely disgusting and cold; I had a Chile relleno and enchilada the Crispy relleno was soggy and cold. Rice was hard. My son got a quesadilla off the appetizer menu and it barley had cheese. My other son got nuggets that were over cooked and my daughter got the kids taco plate and the rice was hard so she spit it out and didn't eat her food either. When I told the waitress about my food her manager took $5 off for something I didn't eat. Horrible customer service and even worse food! Definitely don't come to this location. The food was terrific! I like to order food that can be a challenge to the chef. Anyone can make the basics. I ordered Mole. It was great. They gave me a sample of menudo. Not anyone can make it and have it taste as good as this was. This is the best Menudo that I have ever had in a restaurant. I ordered some to go and we will be having it for breakfast tomorrow. My husband ordered the jalapeño poppers and shrimp ceviche. His food was awesome & Very tasty. The service was wonderful! Marilou was so friendly and very helpful.
