The atmosphere was loud and difficult to have a conversation. The bartender couldn't mix a drink and, most irritating, he carded every member of a 50th birthday party. The manager (thin, white bald guy) carded 50-year-old, grey bearded men. He carded old men... When I asked why he was carding people who were obviously old enough to drink and smoke, he suggested if I didn't like it, I should go somewhere else. He accused 5 men of being children, lied and said he lacked the cognitive ability to estimate an age of an old man and suggested they take their business elsewhere when asked why he instituted such a needless requirement of customers. Tom the pipe guy is one of my favorite people on this earth and has been very good at pointing me in the right direction and teaching me about cigar's pipes and tobacco. The place is like stepping back in time, besides the lights and cameras the surroundings make you feel like you've stepped into a Time Machine right out of the old west the late 1800 early 1900s. You get what you pay for, this place may not be the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but it is definitely the best tobacconist in the Denver metro area. You should definitely come in and ask Tom about pipes and you will probably go home with one and don't go into the humidor because you won't come out empty handed, but you will definitely be going home a lot happier than you did before you came in.

We sat and the tables were dirty and it took about 10 mins for somebody to bring us water. We ordered pork belly and the chicken sandwich came instead and we didn't say anything and ate and we were charged for the pork belly.. I'll be calling tomorrow to chat with somebody but this wasn't ok. Why charge us for something we didn't eat? I was very disappointed. We will not be returning. Food and drink service was fairly slow. The hot chocolate bar felt cheaper then last year and the items listed on the menu were not all present at the bar.
