What a disappointment! I was soooo looking forward to our dinner at Casa Mariachi tonight but our dining experience was marred by the slow service and not-so-great food quality. I thought this place was solid when I got some food for to-go a while back. Ugh!! The only good thing was that we were seated right away upon arrival (it was probably because we were a small group of two people; when we arrived, there was one two-person table available; people with larger groups were waiting in the waiting area.) Our waiter was polite and pleasant and yet his attentiveness was bare minimum. Our food took such a long time before they came out of the kitchen. Whereas my bf's Avocado Tostada plate was decent (I didn't taste it; he said he liked it), my Baja Fish Taco was mediocre at best (the fish had barely any meat in it; it almost looked like a very thin chicken meat that was cooked with absolute stinginess!!) The only reason I am not giving them 1 star is because of the swift seating upon arrival and the harp player who performed for the mothers (as it was Mother's Day yesterday.) 25-minute drive on Parker Road from my northeast DTC home surely wasn't worth it; we could have gone to one of the nearby restaurants to satisfy our cravings for Mexican food instead. read more

Casa Mariachi in Parker is a nice, family-owned Mexican restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. We went on a Wednesday evening, and it was packed--we waited about 15 minutes for a table, which speaks to how popular the place is. The salsa, bean dip, and chips were excellent--fresh and flavorful! I ordered a veggie taco and a cheese enchilada à la carte. While the veggies in the taco were fresh, I wish they had been grilled a little more for added flavor. The enchilada was disappointing only because, despite mentioning multiple times that I am vegetarian, the salsa verde came with chicken in it. On top of that, I felt the dish had too much cheese, which diluted the verde flavor that I was looking forward to. On a sweeter note, the churros were delicious, and we really enjoyed them! Overall, this is a warm, family-friendly spot with great service and atmosphere. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the vegetarian mix-up and a few details in the dishes, but I'll definitely give Casa Mariachi another try , perhaps it was just an off night due to how busy they were. read more

We ended up coming here for a birthday party. I had driven by a few times but never stopped in. And in the morning they have a food truck out there, usually with a line. It is a wrap around building which has plenty of parking that is shared with other establishments. We were a party of eight and the waitress was really attentive. Me doing my do diligents checked out the reviews first . They had chips salsa and beans out. The salsa was spicy for my liking but didn't stop me from going back for more. I went with the enchiladas with the cheese sauce. All the plates were huge servings. I could only finish half and would have preferred more lettuce. Jeremy was our waiter tonight and he did a splendid job. He took our good and beverage orders and had us served up in no time at all. Casa Mariachi takes Mexican Cuisine to a different level. I had the Sizzlin Fajita Trio and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was large enough that I could barely finish 1/2 the meal. That's ok as I took the 2nd 1/2 home. This place is great!! The salsa is some of the best I've had and the Pancho Via platter was amazing and was enough food for my wife and I to share. The service was great and we got seated fairly quickly. Jose was our waiter and he was awesome! Went here on a Monday evening around 5:30 and they were decently busy which is a good sign. It was our first time, and it was decent for the area. Service was fast and attentive, prices were right and they had specials. Drinks seemed to be made in house vs a premix which was enjoyable. This isn't top tier Mexican, but it's decent Tex Mex. I typically love this place. Their arroz con pollo was my basic go to. I've ordered it countless times and it's been wonderful. This last time I went to my usual. Except I wanted arroz con pollo not tortilla y onions. I have never in my life seen so many onions. I bet I got 1/3 cup of rice and 2 strips of chicken and the rest was onions for $24. I'm so disappointed because this was my go-to for so long. I feel completely jipped. Imagine a tortilla filled with pure onions. That was my meal. I've actually never seen anything like it. Whenever we are away from the Denver area for an extended period, we find ourselves craving a deep fried, crispy Chili Relleno. We realize that this is not the most authentic way to eat a Chili Relleno, but there is just something about it that hits the spot and feels like coming home. As a native of Colorado, I grew up eating these quite frequently, as did my CO native sons. We decided to try Casa Mariachi to check out their Chili Relleno, and we were not disappointed. The Relleno was nice and crispy, while the cheese inside was melted wonderfully with that great cheese pull you would expect from a well-cooked, fresh from the fryer Relleno. The green chili was flavorful and had a little bit of spice. The beans and rice weren't our favorites, but we didn't really care since we were there for the Relleno. We also tried the cheese enchiladas and chimichanga. Both were flavorful and what you would expect. No surprises. You get complimentary chips, salsa and bean dip while you wait for your food plus free refills. They were moderately busy during lunch on a Monday. First visit today for lunch, I went at 11 expecting the restaurant to be empty, which it was although it quickly became busier. Extensive menu, but I flipped to the back page hoping for lunch specials, and there they were. One really odd thing I noted: "Our shredded beef contains pork." Really?? I ordered a lunch combo of 2 enchiladas (one cheese, one chicken) with rice and choice of beans: refried, whole, or black, which I ordered. The waiter didn't introduce himself (okay by me) and also didn't write down my order. He came back, twice, to confirm my enchilada preference. When the meal came (quickly, on a blazing hot plate), it was accompanied by refried beans. If you can't remember orders and get them correct, write them down, please. Black beans were then brought in a small bowl. The food was just okay. The cheese in the enchilada was gummy. The shredded chicken was tasty only because of heavy spices. The rice was fine, but bland, and the black beans were basic as well. This restaurant has nothing to draw me for a return visit. read more

This place is bustling! Even though it is a big restaurant, it was all filled when we had lunch here on the weekend. The Tropical Ceviche was suggested to us. It was popular at the table but I've had better ceviche. Arrozo con Pollo is their signature dish for a reason. It is very flavorful and as far as a Chinese is concerned, it was pretty good stir-fry! The shrimp version has less char and therefore, less flavor, but tasted healthier! The kids loved the quesadillas and and the Fajita beef which look almost like beef jerky! Get the El Trio Platter if you want to share an entree with someone. I wish there were more bacon wrapped shrimp! The owner is super nice and is definitely into decorating her restaurant with all kinds of pieces. Even the chair backs are artsy! While I wouldn't go out of my way to drive to Parker for Mexican food, I'd recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood. They have great hospitality. 3.5 stars! read more

We used to really like this place but things change. The last couple times haven't been that good. Today the taco was filled with very greasy beef, had to let it drain for awhile, the taco shell wasn't soft, wasn't crispy and it was stale and chewy, The rice was tasteless.
