Very friendly, good service, clean place! The food was excellent also. I had a good burrito. I would definitely go back.

I was distracted by the person behind glass making the wonderful fresh tortillas. As homebrewers, my husband and I were interested in what their brew set up looked like. It was behind glass and visible from where we were seated. Always neat to see how a brewery is set up, no two are the same. Dulce took care of us. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh with a nice kick. He got a taco plate with ground beef tacos, rice and beans. He paired that with the LDP IPA. He enjoyed his meal. I love Chile Rellenos, so that is what I chose for my lunch. It came smothered with their green chili and with some of those wonderful warm tortillas on the side. I paired mine with their Aqua Fresca, a slightly altered base of their Mexican Lager with the addition of Prickly Pear purée and Key Lime. It was refreshing and tasted like summer. I had half of my lunch to bring home with me. The view from where we sat was beautiful. I would come back.

My friend asked for one special modification for her drink, "salt on the rim" and that wasn't followed. Food took forever. And in the molcajete had a giant blob of cheese that previously was at the bottom, easily making it easy to eat the meat. Instead it was like fishing the meat out from the stranger things world of cheese. $69 for terrible service and not even an alcoholic beverage. I will be asking for a refund tomorrow. Do not recommend.

Every recommendation came with passion, personal testimony, and what I'm pretty sure was a sworn oath that our lives were about to change. "Trust me." "No -- TRUST me." "You're gonna thank me later." Reader, I did thank him later. Every dish he pointed at was absolute fire. Not a single miss. It was like having a culinary tour guide who had eaten the entire menu twice and survived to tell the tale. Food was incredible, vibes were great, and Eli deserves either a raise, a podcast, or his own Food Network show. Come hungry. Leave full. Tip Eli like he personally cooked your meal (because emotionally, he did)

We were a party of three adults and one toddler. Arrived around 5:30 p.m. on Monday and was greeted and sat immediately. Our server was super friendly even though she was one of the only servers and had many tables to tend to. The food is close to authentic Cuban. I love the plantain chips and dip and I always get the picadillo. This was our first time getting the flan and my goodness it was delicious. You have to have a cortado as well. Sometimes they have live music and when the weather is nice it is always a good idea to sit outside. Maybe I will try another dish aside from piccadillo next time but that's a big maybe. ;)

Everyone in there does seem to know each other and everyone in there is friendly, including the staff. We were able to get seated right away, but again, it was during the week. The staff and the patrons definitely have a small town feel despite being just minutes from both Highlands Ranch and Castle rock. The value was good and that is likely what will bring us back. Also keep in mind that they do have a bakery with some good stuff to take home so make sure you save room!

We were greeted and served by a wonderfully friendly and outgoing woman named McKenzie. She has a small town charm you rarely see in the city. She brought us drinks, took our orders, chatted us up kept us informed on the timeline of our orders. When the food came out, it was wonderfully prepared, hot, fresh and it was delicious. All the while McKenzie kept our drinks full and put smiles on our faces. The wings and garlic knots were first rate. My veggie calzone was perfect. We even took a jalapeño pizza for later. We ordered a few desserts for the road and tasted them when we got home. All were fantastic. Small town, homemade taste. I really wish this place was closer. It's a true gem and I'd eat there weekly if it was down the street from me. Donna, the owner, is a real class act and clearly cares about her customers and the products she puts forward. A plus plus plus for this little diner.
