The ice cream is good, but the service was terrible. The girl with brown hair at the counter acted like helping me was a massive chore. She stayed on her phone while I waited, gave zero greeting, and was incredibly rude when I asked for a sample. It's hard to enjoy a treat when the staff is that dismissive and cold. I went in this Sunday and honestly the ice cream was good but the girl with brown hair working there acted like helping customers was the worst thing ever. Went in for a $12.00 bag of chocolate waited at the counter to pay. The employee was helping get an ice cream cone for another customer. Then it was my turn to pay - I pay for chocolate and said no to a tip. The employee had the nerve to tell me that I missed a question when I paid. So I took out my credit card to pay and again I by passed tip option. Then she said "oh I guess no tip umm have a good night. My question is should I have to tip everyone? Such Target, Sprouts, King Soppers ? Don't these people make a minimum wage? read more

Small businesses alert! As soon as I walked in I was greeted like a close neighbor who was glad to see me . The smell in the shop was heavenly. I was offered a sample of their "nutcracker sweets"popcorn mix that was cooling and being bagged fresh. I immediately grabbed a bag for my home movie night. I had never been to a Kilwins before, and the guy helping me offered quite a few samples to which I declined. I explained that unfortunately I'm on medication that gives me an aversion to sweets and that whatever I choose I have to make it count. I know ...as an after thought , I too am thinking " whatever the heck that means " but he suggested fruit in the form of a chocolate apple LOL! He was great. This is a fun little ice cream shop right across from O'Brien Park in downtown Parker along Main Street. The employees were fast, friendly and ready. I Like the small hometown feeling this store provides, it reminds me of vacationing up in a mountain resort town. The ice cream flavors were plentiful, creamy and delicious. We come here all the time and just now I started a review! My husband is from Michigan so he comes here for Blue Moon ice cream! We buy a pint everytime and of course some chocolate apples!!! This place is amazing. It's a little store but well organized and packed full of delicious options! And the people working are super warm and helpful! I appreciate that they offer samples of the fudge and ice cream! I adore their fudge- the peanut butter chocolate fudge is heavenly but this time I had the chocolate sea salt caramel and it was so fresh and delicious! We also got some ice cream (even in January) and my husband loved the chocolate peanut butter ice cream and thought how the peanut butter was flaky made it so much easier to eat than other ice creams of the same flavor. My mint chocolate chip ice cream was very good too. They have awesome chocolate candy selections in case and tons of gift options too. Wow, hadn't heard of this place before but happened to be in the neighborhood and walked by and had to stop in! Of course then I had to get some ice cream and try some of the tempting caramel corn. The ice cream was very good. They don't even make it there but have it shipped in - I guess this place is based in a town in MI I've never heard of and already can't remember - but it tasted fresh and creamy. I tried apple pie and some other caramel/chocolate in vanilla mix and both were delightful. I meant to keep the caramel corn packaged to pull out in the future, but somehow on the way home the top seal came undone - divine intervention? So I popped a few kernels and just as I suspected by looking at it, it still had a little chewiness to it vs totally crisp which is just how I like it. I'll stop in again sometime to try some other things that looked great - chocolate-covered miscellaneous tasty bites. The place is also clean and friendly staff!! read more

I've been eating this chocolate for years as their flagship store is in Petoskey, MI. This is top notch chocolate that is priced high but worth a splurge once in a while. Everything I have ordered has been heavenly but I am partial to the dark chocolate peanut clusters and the dark chocolate toffee. read more

I am utterly shocked by these reviews and felt like I needed to share our experience as my husband and I have tears streaming down our face from laughing at how bad the chocolates are from here. Maybe we are chocolate snobs (?) as we often order from Seattle Chocolates and Deiters chocolates in Denver however even if you're comparing this to hersheys brand Kilwins would lose by a landslide. We just tried MANY truffles (bought $25 worth of a random assortment) and we had one that tasted like celery and another that tasted like an Asian dish heavily seasoned with sesame - absolutely not what you're expecting when you bite into a CHOCOLATE. I will say the girl working at the counter was absolutely lovely and we did not try the candy apples or ice cream so cannot speak to those however the truffles are a monstrosity. read more
