Kilwins is doing ice cream right. The ice cream was soooo good... we're talking super creamy and rich without being overly sweet. The shop itself is really nice, with fudge, caramels, and chocolate treats to boot. The service was topnotch. They even gave us an extra waffle cone piece for free, and it was freshly made. The smell brought back memories of my first job at Braum's. read more

Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Parker, Colorado

The good: I got a Dubai buckeye candy, Kilwin's signature (?) vanilla/chocolate/caramel ice cream in a cone, and a pecan chocolate cluseter. The inside smells so good of fresh waffle cones. The waffle cone was very tasty and the bottom of the cone was very sturdy and didn't leak. There were tons of treats to choose from and many great ice cream flavors. There's a free side parking lot behind the store. They're across from the park and playground so it's a great spot for kids. The bad: All of the Dubai things are pretty expensive. There's no indoor seating. The interesting: The Dubai buckeye chocolate was saltier than I expected. There's a cute box outside where kids can trade trinkets. It's like those "Little Libraries" except for fun little toys. There's a bench outside where you can sit and eat your treats. read more

Went in for a $12.00 bag of chocolate waited at the counter to pay. The employee was helping get an ice cream cone for another customer. Then it was my turn to pay - I pay for chocolate and said no to a tip. The employee had the nerve to tell me that I missed a question when I paid. So I took out my credit card to pay and again I by passed tip option. Then she said "oh I guess no tip umm have a good night. My question is should I have to tip everyone? Such Target, Sprouts, King Soppers ? Don't these people make a minimum wage? read more

The ice cream is good, but the service was terrible. The girl with brown hair at the counter acted like helping me was a massive chore. She stayed on her phone while I waited, gave zero greeting, and was incredibly rude when I asked for a sample. It's hard to enjoy a treat when the staff is that dismissive and cold. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

Had a chocolate coated pretzel and the pretzel was stale. Disappointed given what I paid for this treat.

Small businesses alert! As soon as I walked in I was greeted like a close neighbor who was glad to see me . The smell in the shop was heavenly. I was offered a sample of their "nutcracker sweets"popcorn mix that was cooling and being bagged fresh. I immediately grabbed a bag for my home movie night. I had never been to a Kilwins before, and the guy helping me offered quite a few samples to which I declined. I explained that unfortunately I'm on medication that gives me an aversion to sweets and that whatever I choose I have to make it count. I know ...as an after thought , I too am thinking " whatever the heck that means " but he suggested fruit in the form of a chocolate apple LOL! He was great. I can't wait to come back and get more chocolate, it's good stuff :) read more

This is a fun little ice cream shop right across from O'Brien Park in downtown Parker along Main Street. The employees were fast, friendly and ready. I Like the small hometown feeling this store provides, it reminds me of vacationing up in a mountain resort town. The ice cream flavors were plentiful, creamy and delicious. Good experience all around. read more

Kilwins is the chocolate and ice cream shop that every small town downtown dreams of having. The store is always well-stocked, seasonally decorated, and the service couldn't be better. Everyone who works here is so nice, and they're great with kids who ooh and ahh when trying to decide what they want to try. Best of all, their treats are delicious, from the caramel apples to the freshly made chocolates and fudge. There's no better place to get a treat in Parker. read more

Great Business, awesome service! great variety and taste. The lemon meringue ice cream is superb.

I went in this Sunday and honestly the ice cream was good but the girl with brown hair working there acted like helping customers was the worst thing ever. She looked annoyed every time someone ordered and had such an attitude for no reason and ignored me when I just asked for a napkin. Customer service definitely needs work. read more

It's an old school candy shop, with great ice cream. It's not so good that I'd drive to Parker for it; but it's worth stopping at if you are there. read more

We come here all the time and just now I started a review! My husband is from Michigan so he comes here for Blue Moon ice cream! We buy a pint everytime and of course some chocolate apples!!! They make the caramel apples in store, everytime I come in they have rows and rows of new apples lined up! I just want to take it all! They have a really good selection of chocolates and ice cream! They even sell the giant size chocolate for the chocolate lovers! We love coming here to get desserts! read more

Anthony is an amazing candy maker. Walking into Kilwins is like taking a step back in time when you could go to a store that made their products on premise. All their offerings are fresh. The hardest part is making a choice of what you want. The best thing is no matter what you choose it will be an amazing choice and better than any chocolate you have ever purchased. So to add to all the fun they also offer ice cream and the flavors they offer are not like the other 31 choices that are out there. If you are in or around Parker Colorado take a moment and reward yourself and stop into Kilwins you'll be glad you did. read more

This place is amazing. It's a little store but well organized and packed full of delicious options! And the people working are super warm and helpful! I appreciate that they offer samples of the fudge and ice cream! I adore their fudge- the peanut butter chocolate fudge is heavenly but this time I had the chocolate sea salt caramel and it was so fresh and delicious! We also got some ice cream (even in January) and my husband loved the chocolate peanut butter ice cream and thought how the peanut butter was flaky made it so much easier to eat than other ice creams of the same flavor. My mint chocolate chip ice cream was very good too. They have awesome chocolate candy selections in case and tons of gift options too. We were really impressed with the selections, options, and care we received here! Worth driving an hour from the Springs for, for sure! read more

Wow, hadn't heard of this place before but happened to be in the neighborhood and walked by and had to stop in! Of course then I had to get some ice cream and try some of the tempting caramel corn. The ice cream was very good. They don't even make it there but have it shipped in - I guess this place is based in a town in MI I've never heard of and already can't remember - but it tasted fresh and creamy. I tried apple pie and some other caramel/chocolate in vanilla mix and both were delightful. I meant to keep the caramel corn packaged to pull out in the future, but somehow on the way home the top seal came undone - divine intervention? So I popped a few kernels and just as I suspected by looking at it, it still had a little chewiness to it vs totally crisp which is just how I like it. I'll stop in again sometime to try some other things that looked great - chocolate-covered miscellaneous tasty bites. The place is also clean and friendly staff!! read more

Sure... you're going to pay $35 for this... but what better way to control your sweet-tooth. Looks like most are hand made with great packaging. The presentation is outstanding. Try the sea-salt chocolate fudge, it's great! This is more of a gift chocolate shoppe more than a personal urge. I like it! read more

Their Ice cream, chocolate, caramel, fudge, candies, and let's not forget the caramel apples, are the best on this planet! Every time we walk into the store we are greeted with super friendly helpful staff, all with warm smiles. The place is absolutely spotless, bright and inviting. They're always doing gift ideas for every occasion, and they can even ship! I've sent some of their tasty goodies all over the country (not everyone is lucky enough to have a Kilwins in their backyard!) can't say enough about this great family, this great gem, in our great little town! read more

We love Kilwins! We were so sad when we went and they were closed at 8:15 on a Monday. The workers watched us pull on the door. We checked the hours on the door and online and read 9:00. Maybe a change in hours we were unaware of? Such delicious treats! read more

I am utterly shocked by these reviews and felt like I needed to share our experience as my husband and I have tears streaming down our face from laughing at how bad the chocolates are from here. Maybe we are chocolate snobs (?) as we often order from Seattle Chocolates and Deiters chocolates in Denver however even if you're comparing this to hersheys brand Kilwins would lose by a landslide. We just tried MANY truffles (bought $25 worth of a random assortment) and we had one that tasted like celery and another that tasted like an Asian dish heavily seasoned with sesame - absolutely not what you're expecting when you bite into a CHOCOLATE. I will say the girl working at the counter was absolutely lovely and we did not try the candy apples or ice cream so cannot speak to those however the truffles are a monstrosity. read more
