I definitely try to make a stop here whenever I am in Denver for work. Their matcha soft serve ice…read morecream is my absolute favorite! It has a strong matcha flavor and is not too sweet. I usually like to get a hazelnut latte as well, and they are very accommodating with all my requests. They have lots of board games available for people to borrow. Overall, this is a great spot for a quick treat or just to hang out.

Desserts: I think the highlight is the soft serve but they have shakes, drinks, boba, cream buns, and mochi donuts. They are consistent across the board despite the ginormous menu. -Soft serve ice cream - Very smooth soft serve and the flavors are deep (i.e. matcha, milk, sesame). They also add actual fruit to the fruit flavors, like mango or strawberry. -Shakes - Also, good. It's basically mixed soft serve. -Drinks - Their drinks are intensely flavored which is much appreciated (i.e. coffee, matcha, ube expresso). -Cream buns - too much for me but if you like decadent cream, this is for you. -Mochi donuts - normally not into this but the texture is good here. The outside has a has a thin, crisp layer and then it's pleasantly chewy without being too dense. Space: An okay amount of seating. Can get crowded as it's popular. Service: Polite and helpful when you have questions. Price: $$. Average for what it is.

I have been hearing about this place and it's yummy bin-su and Korean desserts. I decided to stop…read moreby on a Saturday and try it out. When we got outside, the parking lot was packed and we could see plenty of people and a food truck, there was definitely an event going on We learned it was an event for a K-pop band with vendors and food Set up there to bring people in. There was a pretty good line since it was so packed, we used the online ordering kiosk and got one of their "snows" - snow bowls. Although the most popular are the strawberry and mango, I decided to try the black sesame as it is my personal fave. We also got it with an extra side of condensed milk, which really made a difference and amped up the texture and flavor. It was pretty good, it came with a mochi and frozen red bean paste, almonds, and plenty of shaved ice. It was a giant bowl, too much for two people even, and we took the rest of it home. Surprisingly, it was even better later on when the snow had turned into more of a gelato texture. At nearly $20 for the bowl it's no steal, but it was a nice treat, and I'm happy to say that I've tried it.

On a mission to find the best taiyaki/ahboong in Denver and started with Snowl. This cute dessert…read morespot has lots of great seating available and they seem to be fine with folks hanging around with friends. They have a wide variety of options on their menu- we had the taiyaki in a cup and and snow bowl. Some positives and mild negatives for me. For the taiyaki, there are only two options for flavor- matcha or milk tea. There are quite a few filling flavors available. I got the milk tea with Nutella filling and topped with mini Oreos. It was delicious, but not the best I've had. My husband got the Snow Bowl- I tried a few bites and it was delicious! I may have to make that my next foodie showdown. There were some odd restrictions around whether or not you can eat the to go in the building and they lock that bag down to ensure that I guess. Since it is such a large portion of the dessert, seems like it would make sense to have it to go in case you can't finish it. Just feels like an unnecessary restriction. The snow bowls are amazing though! We got the mango and it was gloriously refreshing- told my fella it would be used to bribe me any day of the week. It would be cool if there were different sizes though because the serving is probably enough for several people or one person for multiple sittings- like a small, med, mega situation would be cool. Some ups and down, but I definitely wouldn't turn down another visit to Snowl!

We have tried their fresas con crema and that was pretty good. They also have house made potato chips which are tasty too, however, I highly do not recommend the mangonada if it's just going to be a huge popsicle. Service is good, always taken care of quickly. There is limited seating, with napkins on the tables which is appreciated.

What a great place to get ice cream, Mexican sodas, desserts, snacks, fruit, and candy!…read more My dad and I were in the mood for ice cream and were lucky enough to stumble upon Neveria Las Mariposas. You can get all kinds of ice cream treats. Lots of them had fruit mixed in with the ice cream. We went for the ice cream. They have some traditional and some very unique flavors as well, such as Nutella. 7 Layer Coconut, Coffee Express, and Gansito, just to name a few. I had the Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip and the Tequila Chip! Both were wonderful with just a hint of JD and tequila flavor. Just right! Jack Daniels Chocolate Chip was my favorite. Nice an creamy, and a different texture than traditional American ice cream. There's seating available both inside and outside. The owners, Elizabeth and Adrianna are super nice. They are sisters. You'll enjoy meeting them when you go there. This is a far better choice for ice cream and cool treats than the chain variety of ice cream places. Please support this independently owned and operated business, especially now when small businesses are trying to get back on their feet again. Parking is easy and plentiful. Definitely worth a visit when you want a cool treat or some Mexican snacks and candy.
