This is probably one of the best boba places I have been too and typically I am not a fan of boba. We got three teas (Thai tea, ube and black oolong) and one strawberry smoothie. In my opinion stick to the teas. Nothing specifically stood out about the service, was a bit slow. The inside was nice, there were people studying and sitting on the couches. However the seats could be more comfortable. read more

I have been so excited to make my way to Latea Bubble Tea, having heard so many great things from my fellow Yelpers. When a cracked phone screen brought me to the Apple Store, I seized the opportunity to check them out. The space is super cozy and Insta-worthy for sure! Sadly, this will be one of the few photo-less reviews I post since I was sans-phone while it was being repaired. Sad day! I love the ability to customize my drink to my liking. However, I personally recommend ordering with a person for your first time just to better understand the menu and get the inside scoop. I opted for a Thai iced tea with boba. It was just okay. It had a bit of a marshmallow taste to it that I found a bit too sweet for my liking. I will agree with others that the house made Boba is def something to be experienced. Your boba standards are going to be raised for sure! While my choice of beverage missed the mark. I think it was more of a me problem than a them problem. I don't find myself in the area often, but I will absolutely be giving Latea Bubble Tea another shot! read more

Very good tropical hibiscus tea with honey Boba. The drink was made very quickly and it came out delicious. The area was clean. The unfortunate thing is , I don't think I would pay over eight dollars for this tea again. That's a little much , kind of ridiculous really in my opinion , because I didn't really customize it other than honey Boba. I did order a large and still , for them to charge that for a large ...$8 ?! It's the only reason I didn't put that last star. It's good for a very once in a while drink. I might be back. read more

Latea was by far my favorite place to get boba from in Indianapolis before the location closed down in 2023. I can't say I expected to find Latea near Denver! Of course we had to visit, and we headed over right after eating lunch in the city. This boba shop is located right by the mall, making it very convenient to get boba after shopping. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the menu seems to be the same as the other two locations I've visited (Indy and Champaign). Ordering is done via kiosk, although the bobaristas are available for questions. Taiwan Oolong Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($7.75) - This is a very fragrant tea with a milky and toasty aroma and a hint of nuttiness. It reminds me of a Phoenix Oolong, although this is probably a variety of High Mountain. It's thickened quite well to a creamy consistency. There aren't any hints of harshness or off notes, making this a great milk tea to sip on. The boba is strange. The pearls are shaped like cuboids and aren't consistent in cut, so some are shorter cubes and some are longer. The other Latea locations have normal round boba, so I'm confused why the change here. They have the same very firm chew throughout, way too firm for my tastes. For factory produced boba, usually there's a softer exterior and more firm interior, so I can definitely tell that the boba is homemade. At least the marination is good, being submersed in fruity and flowery longan honey for a long time. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 Assam Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - This milk tea has a very nice assam flavor, deep with a light fruity astringency. It's extremely creamy, probably too much so. That leaves a kind of gritty mouthfeel and a powdery residue left on the top of the palette. Great flavor, but the mix is off. At most places, brown sugar boba is softer than honey boba and Latea is no exception. It's much softer here than the honey, cooked and marinated enough to be nicely chewy and bouncy. As with the honey, the marination is stellar, giving a great brown sugar flavor to each pearl. The pearls are still that strange cuboid shape though. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 As with the other Latea locations, the milk tea is good quality. The boba at this particular location is a bit strange, however. I'm not really sure what to make of the unique shape. Bathrooms - Two unisex room although one is currently out of order. read more

Cool boba spot, friendly proprietor with boba that's made from scratch. Ample space and couches... which makes me think it would be good for a first date. The crème brûlée matcha is solid, I got it quarter sweet and it was just the right level of sweetness for me. The longan boba is a must try; it's slightly sweeter than the standard boba but has an interesting floral and fruity fragrance and taste to it. Highly recommend it. read more

My go-to boba place! Typically I can't drink most milk teas at boba shops because I'm lactose intolerant but not only do they use lactose-free creamer but they also have non-dairy milk alternatives! My fave is their jasmine milk tea with honey boba (house made boba!!) or their earl grey milk tea (you can get it hot too!) Latea is located in the outdoor area of Park Meadows and conveniently near my office. My friend and I had lunch at Ramen and walked in here after. This space is beautiful and the perfect place to hangout. They have mini claw machines in the back that add some fun. Onto the boba: This hands down is my favorite boba spot. The boba from Latea is always delicious. It really does make a difference when the boba is homemade. The boba doesn't really require aggressive chewing and it just tastes better. I do like that you can adjust the sweetness level of the boba. Anything under 50% is good in my opinion. It's still very tasty even if you reduce the sweetness levels. I've tried the Ube, tiramisu, and the brown sugar boba drinks and they've all been delicious. We ordered the brown sugar boba drinks for a party and surprised with how well packed everything was. Plus, the staff is friendly and nice. If you have questions, just ask. Check their Instagram for any deals. read more

Amazing boba and delicious drinks! I stopped here during a visit to the park meadows mall and decided to try their drinks. It's quick to order and there can be a short wait for drinks as every drink is made in house to order. The result is a drink with a more pronounced tea taste that isn't too sweet which is perfect and exactly what I'm looking for. I got the peach smoothie with classic brown sugar boba and it tasted great but they ended up giving me honey boba instead, the service was good in speed, but like I said, they gave me the wrong thing. This place has the best quality boba and more! The drinks and treats are excellent! Crystal and I really enjoyed our mini tasting we had. Our favorite was the strawberry matcha ! Ryan and I did a special tasting just the two of us over this weekend and it was such a delight! We tried some new drinks we had never had before and it was so good. I highly recommend their new strawberry drinks they have! So fresh and great for the summer! He said "we just wouldn't have ordered chocolate if it had no flavor, can we please switch?" And they again refused unless we purchased a different one. We also had brought it back in so they knew we weren't trying to be shady. I got a brown sugar milk tea and it tasted so watery. We also got a sparkling lychee drink and it had almost no ice and was bitter. It didn't really look like its picture either, not sure if they made it right. We got a sparkling mango drink and it was much nicer so 1/4 things was pleasant. Over all these 4 items were $32 before tax and tip and I'm so disappointed that they just do not care at all about customers satisfaction or making quality food and drinks at these prices. Probably the worst tea shop experience of my life because they don't want to fix anything if someone isn't satisfied with a reasonable request.

It must be popular and we found out why. We didn't try the ice cream but they make it on the fly similar to cold stone creamery. But their boba was excellent, very fresh! Prices were reasonable and service was fast. They have a good amount of seating so we were able to get a seat, converse and relax while we drank our boba.

There was a boba themed book written by an AANHPI author reading. The book was read by Katherine Chow, author of Silly Shrimphony. I believe the book read was I Love Boba by Katrina Liu. Such an awesome day and event. Patrick was welcoming and served everyone in turn their orders. The Sweet Thu-th pop up was also yum! Cake pops - u got the ube swirl and ube flavors. Delish! Everything was so good. Yuan Wonton chili wontons are always transcending. And the refreshing passion fruit with lychee popping boba and mango slush with boba drinks tasty.

The staff was quick though to check on us and make sure we had everything and to refill out waters. The spring rolls were delicious and wrapped nice and tight. It was pretty good, it came with a mochi and frozen red bean paste, almonds, and plenty of shaved ice. It was a giant bowl, too much for two people even, and we took the rest of it home. Surprisingly, it was even better later on when the snow had turned into more of a gelato texture. At nearly $20 for the bowl it's no steal, but it was a nice treat, and I'm happy to say that I've tried it.

For the taiyaki, there are only two options for flavor- matcha or milk tea. There are quite a few filling flavors available. I got the milk tea with Nutella filling and topped with mini Oreos. It was delicious, but not the best I've had. My husband got the Snow Bowl- I tried a few bites and it was delicious! I may have to make that my next foodie showdown. There were some odd restrictions around whether or not you can eat the to go in the building and they lock that bag down to ensure that I guess. Since it is such a large portion of the dessert, seems like it would make sense to have it to go in case you can't finish it. Just feels like an unnecessary restriction. The snow bowls are amazing though! We got the mango and it was gloriously refreshing- told my fella it would be used to bribe me any day of the week. It would be cool if there were different sizes though because the serving is probably enough for several people or one person for multiple sittings- like a small, med, mega situation would be cool. Some ups and down, but I definitely wouldn't turn down another visit to Snowl!

Real customer feedback matters, and restaurants should be held accountable when the quality doesn't match the hype. At this point, they might want to consider changing the name to "Oily Pot." UberEats how dare you offer me $10 Damm dollars back out of $22.56 for this horrible ass food. As of 5/8 I was offered a full refund and a complimentary meal to make up for my troubles.
