Me and my man decided to get some icecream milk shakes and I wanted to try the ColdStone where I lived at. We first walked in and service was very slow. I noticed the smell in ColdStone when I first walked inside. It's It smelled like spoiled milk which made me sneer my nose up. The younger lady there was polite and friendly which was nice. I ordered a German chocolate milk shake and it wasn't made that well. It tasted like a chocolate syrupy mess. I didn't get the coconut nor pecans in it like how the signature icecream is usually made. The ice cream was fine enough, but this may seriously have been the most filthy food establishment I've ever been to in my life. The tables and chairs looked like they hadn't been wiped off in weeks. They were covered in old sticky ice cream and Oreo pieces, and there was trash all over the floor. There were used water cups up by the register, and the tables outside were covered in ice cream and litter. I literally felt sticky when we left and couldn't wait to go home and take a shower. The staff is a bunch of young girls who act like you're bothering and are annoyed to serve you. I have started to become a regular finding that this location is closer than the Lakewood location for me. I was wanting to take the moment to recognize yaylee and her coworker cassy. Yaylee usually is the one to help me not only did she remember my order from the night before she was so kind and friendly and remind you I come in at 9:30 at night after my workout right before they close. The world needs more employees like these 2. I will be back and highly recommend the yummy high quality ice creams from this location. I always had enjoyed cold stone creameries in the past. But in more recent years, I prefer other ice cream places (like Glacier for example). The prices at cold stone are a little high for one. The quality of the ice cream seems to have gone down as well over the years. Sure you have a lot of toppings and flavors but there's just something about it I can't quite figure out. I tend to order a milk shake or smoothie now a days if we go there. Those are pretty good... They also now sell Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory sweets at this location. I was craving some fudge after eating some of my coworkers homemade fudge not long ago. So I got some walnut fudge. Not that great at all for what you pay. Its super sweet & a long ways away from homemade. The place it self is super cramped. Esp now that they sell the chocolate on top of the ice cream. The bathrooms are always trashed. Theres like 4 tables to sit at inside, and nothing outside except a couple benches. The staff..I definitely don't think they want to be there. Not the friendliest bunch. read more

The wife and I stopped in here a while back. I guess I always enjoy going to a Cold Stone initially, but I always regret it about 30 minutes after. The ice cream is just so rich and heavy. The ice cream here was just like it is at any other Cold Stone: tasty, fun, rich, and expensive as all get up. This was my 1st visit to a Cold Stone Creamery, and I left very impressed. My friend and I went after a particularly grueling week and felt we deserved a treat. We walked in, around 9pm at night -- and the line was about 20 people long. It was a little startling...but I soon found out why. And not to worry, the line moved at a pretty decent clip considering. What's here? Per their website (one guess on the address), "unique ice cream creations to smoothies, cakes and shakes". Additionally there are 3 "standard" sundaes they serveThey have 21 "signature creations" on their site, they may have a few more that haven't made it up yet. I was in the need for "comfort taste" and ended up getting the Apple Pie A La Cold Stone (cinnamon, graham cracker pie crush, apple pie filling and caramel)...but I substituted their absolutely decadent "Cake Batter" flavored ice cream for the French Vanilla it standardly comes with. I gurgled with happiness letting it melt in my mouth. I bet if we brought batches of this stuff into Congress our national budget wouldn't be so jacked up because everyone would suddenly be motivated to start working with each other instead of against each other, such is the power of this quality ice cream. But I digress. ;) You can get your concoction in 3 cup sizes, or to really immerse yourself in the experience, you can get it in waffle-cup/bowl thingies. I can't really call it a cone, because it isn't. They come in plain and chocolate-dipped. I got mine plain and it was delectable. Many of their creations come with cute or clever names, like "The Pie Who Loved Me", "That's How I Roll", "Cookie Minster" and so on. For the more healthy minded, they also serve sorbet, non-fat no-sugar ice cream (I wonder how good that is here?), and smoothies -- some of those smoothies look eye-poppingly yummy. You can also have "boosts" mixed in with those as well, for energy, antioxidant, protein and/or anti-stress. The worst thing about this place is the parking. It's in an upscale little strip mall, next to King Soopers, on the entry/exit route from the Continental theaters, and next to a luxury apartments location with inadequate parking. Therefore you have to battle for spots with other patrons, and occasionally deal with the inconsiderate moron who parks where the flow of traffic sluggishly goes back and forth, in and out. ("Sure thing, pal, I'll be *happy* to tow your vehicle. I don't really care if it is that imported Jaguar. Idjit.") That small inconvenience aside, it's a great place to grab you and/or a friend a special treat. Worst case, you park in the King Soopers lot and trudge over a little under a block. The line was really slow and didn't feel like any of the three employees had a sense of urgency to take our order once we got to the front of the line. I love all the sugary, terrible toppings they offer. I always make my own and I'm happy the sorbets change a bit. Sometimes after a big dinner, I like some sorbet as opposed to ice cream. Ice cream texture is rubbery so I'm not a fan of Cold Stone in general. Went to this one because my kids wanted to go. Bought a cake pop, took it home and it was MOLDY on the inside. Ok, I am probably going to get crucified for dogging cold stone, but..... I felt the ice cream was not real ice cream. It was waxy. Yes wax-e. taste yourself some Blue Bell and taste how the milky ice cream melts away in your mouth in a cold refreshing way as it passes over your tastebuds into your belly. Cold stone ice cream, in comparison, is not refreshing. it is like a greasy wax that just coats the inside of your mouth with a layer of...well greasy wax. In my opinion, being a chain, and needing to pump out mass amounts of consistent frozen substance, they have resorted to using something that resembles ice cream but is not close to human food. basically it is processed, god knows what, frozen, then sold to you at an ungodly high price. a real shame for those of us who appreciate a high quality product at a reasonable price, this is the exact opposite. read more

This was my first time coming to coldstone, and I must say that it is the worst ice cream that I have ever had. The ice cream was very VERY MELTY and overall eating it was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This company should change their name from coldstone creamery to coldstone liquidy.
