Cookie lovers agree- THEE best, hands-down cookie store ehvuh! Firstly, great location, ample parking (however, that's not typical for this shoppette on average), CLEAN store. The girl working was really nice, friendly, & helpful with suggestions. No bum steer here! I went alone -treated myself- bc i was running boring errands and grocery runs, so i deserved it, dang it. Was it bliss? heck-to-the-yeah! The cookies are frickin YOOG, so i could barely eat 1/3 of 3 and guiltlessly devoured one entire one, in one sitting no less. The only regret is not having some milk, my bad. A mistake I will not make again, that's for sure. The store is small, basically a grab-n-go deal. the sweet, inviting aroma upon opening the door to cookie heaven was a pavlovian experience that you actually get gratification from - beyond your imagining too! My new favorite cookies! I tried the cookies and cream and fried ice cream and both were exceptional. Both very heavy on the filling which I loved. Recommend microwaving for 10-15 seconds per the instructions on the box if you like them ooey and gooey. Staff were friendly and efficient!

The gluten free chocolate chip cookies are, ok. There just so think that, they tend to taste more like dough with chips and not a baked cookie. My husband LOVED the kookie Munster. He said it was a must have again! The renegade he said was overwhelmingly sweet, but tolerable if it was in a couple settings. It's a clean little shop and the employees there were very nice. I'll go back if I need a quick cookie fix for gluten free.

It was lacking in flavor depth and texture was not airy enough; not even top 10-15 I have ever had. The best plain croissant I've tried in Denver is at Reunion Bakery, which is pretty much perfect and exemplifies what I had in Paris. They do have more unique flavors and offerings, but again, none of them blew me away and were actually quite underwhelming. Spinach artichoke croissant and chorizo strada were bland and lacking salt. Cinna-roll and almond croissant were probably the best ones but still nothing to write home about. I found it hard to eat more than 3 bites of anything I got because I did not feel any enjoyment from it and my taste buds were not sufficiently tingled lmao. Maybe I have higher pastry standards coming from San Francisco where there are just so many amazing options, but I think Poulette is a fine neighborhood bakery although not a place anyone should go out of their way for or wait more than 5 minutes for. I went on a Saturday morning at 9am when the wait was around 20-30 minutes. Staff were helpful and nice. Street parking was easy to find. There is limited seating indoors and outdoors.

I decided to pick up a box of various pastries: fruit tarts, cookies, croissants, turnovers, bear claws and a baguette. I arrived at my friends' house knowing they don't really like sweets.. but perhaps they would try some after lunch with some coffee. We cut most of the pastries in fours so we can each get a bite (I have me a sweet tooth...) but to my surprise, they loved every bite!.. and they don't even like sweets! The croissants were buttery and fluffy, the fruit tarts were divine and the baguette was perfect. They were surprised this bakery was right around the corner from their house and insisted on the address as they said they'd want to come back to check the place out. I told them there were lucky to have such an amazing bakery so close to their place. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop in for a treat. One to share, two for me! The employees are always super friendly and helpful too. Definitely a place to check out! It will become a favorite!

This adds the extra touch that other bakery can not add. She says lots of choices and she wasn't kidding. The whole bakery case was filled to the rim, shows casing all of their delicious goodies. Ended up getting salmon quiche from the cold case, almond croissant, very beautiful looking blueberry tart and berry croissant. Came out just below $30. We could had table side service but to-go was our option. I could see bunch of pâtissier working hard in the back. ~~ Now I m loaded with extra carbs ~~ Bon appetite!
