The service is excellent, the Ambiance is as if you are South of the Border and our food was good. We ordered the Menudo, after taking a couple of bites we added the accompanying spices the Menudo tasted good. We are going to have to come back and sample the diner menu.

Had our first visit to Los Dos Potrillos and a bit on the fence. The staff is incredibly friendly and the building/views are beautiful! It's so nice, bright, and comfortable. I really liked getting to see their brewery set up as well. The food was just ok- I ordered the taquitos and my husband ordered some tacos. The chips and salsa were tasty. I ordered combo taquitos and they didn't come out correctly, but the staff was really great about fixing it for me. The taquitos were nice and crispy and I like that they came with green chili for dipping. My main concern was that the meat didn't have much flavor- not wrong per se, just not great. My husband felt the same about his tacos. I'm willing to come back and try something else on the menu as some things were pretty good but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to eat here.

We arrived at noon for a weekday lunch. I had a huge combo plate that provided lots of yummy leftovers. The Castle Rock location is the fifth & newest to open. The other restaurant locations are in Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Parker & Denver. This is a family run business where everything is made from scratch. The restaurant was named after his (Jose Ramirez) two sons, it means two young horses. This lively restaurant is beautifully decorated with high ceilings & fantastic views. However, the place was very loud, it was difficult to hear one another in conversation. This restaurant even has an on-site brewery! Plus plenty of parking. We started with complimentary chips & salsa. The chips were good but need salt & the salsa was delicious. I had the combo #10 that included three items & I added a couple of tortillas to the meal for $2. The crispy Chile Relleno was cheesy & really crisp, it had a wonderful sauce. It was outstanding & my favorite. The smothered Beef & Bean Burrito was very good as well. The Cheese Enchilada was good, however I thought the sauce was too tomatoey. The service was great & it was a great meal!

Excellent date night spot. It was a bit too loud out where we were seated but it got quieter when the crying screaming kids left. It was busy for a Tuesday but we didn't mind waiting half an hour to get seated. The hostess at the front was very welcoming and nice and so was our server. I look forward to coming back and trying other things on their menu. The outdoor view is very pretty and I'd like to come during the day time to see the view.

We come here at least once every two weeks. Always have the best time! The staff, the food, the drinks are always on point and the restaurant is bustling. Perfect ambiance for weekend vibes! I am a regular for the house margarita with Tajín and Monterrey Chicken. If you are a queso lover, don't forget to add chorizo, you're welcome!!

Second time to this location after the first time soon after their opening wasn't so good. It's a little crazy that they seem to always be busy. We showed up before 5 on a Saturday, and there was already a 30 min wait. We managed to find two seats at the bar, so we just did that rather than wait for a table. Service at the bar was a little hit or miss. We eventually ordered our drinks. I liked both porters, so I went with the Piper's, but could've gotten the coffee, while my daughter had a strawberry margarita. Beer was good; she liked her marg but wasn't sure it had much alcohol in it. We each got the combo chicken and steak fajitas, which were fairly large and very good. Tortillas and guacamole are good, but rice and beans are just fair. I'd definitely come back for the food; however, I wish the waits weren't as long and the service was a bit more attentive from the start.

My second time back! Now that I know what to order, it's hard to have a bad experience here. My friend and I shared the Carne Asada burrito, which made for perfect portions! Even then, we still had leftovers. The chips and salsa are very filling!

If you're in Castle Rock, do yourself a favor and stop at Los Dos -- and whatever you do, order the molcajete. I went with my family, and from the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly and efficient. The chips and salsa were next-level -- hands down, some of the best restaurant chips and salsa I've ever had. Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. My brother had visited the month before and couldn't stop raving about the molcajete. He insisted we all order it, and I'm so glad we did. When I tell you this is one of the best Mexican dishes I've ever tasted, I'm not exaggerating. The cheese was unreal -- gooey, flavorful, and absolutely mouthwatering. The rock bowl was boiling hot from start to finish, keeping every bite warm and delicious. It felt like there was an endless amount of meat and food packed into that bowl. The portion is huge -- you could easily have leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. On top of the amazing food, the view was stunning, adding to the overall experience. If you're in Castle Rock, this place is an absolute must. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I want to be fair and love this place. But I didn't. The server Louisa was nice and their customer service manager came around to check on people. But the service time is a little long. The restaurant has a great view and the enclosed patio was lovely to sit in. After much debate, I decided to order the ceviche and she went with quesadillas. She changed her mind last minute and got steak instead of cheese. She regretted the choice as the steak was fatty and chewy. Yuck. My ceviche was fine. And the original skinny margarita strong and good. She wanted to try the place and we have. We won't be back. La Loma is a better option for the price. Restrooms were fine. Parking was fine. It can get crowded so come early or be prepared to wait. They don't take reservations. In fact, no one answers the phone when you call. We tried multiple times before and this time just showed up early.

Love, Love, LOVED this new location. Beautifully decorated inside with stunning views, a very nice bar, a very cool brewery that is on display & extremly polite & genuinely helpful staff. Our food was delicious and generously served at a fair price. I've visited the Littleton location on numerous occasions but this was my first time here & will definitely not be the last.

Never tried this location before but the food looks and smells the same. The salsa is spicier and they make beer at this location.

I'll break it down through all phases of our experience. First will be making reservation. Called early this afternoon for a reservation this evening. Promptly greeted on the phone by a very kind lady. Within a quick minute was able to reserve our dinner with much ease Now with the location and ambiance. Very easy to find, and well positioned with a perfect sunset view of the mountains. Well lit environment but yet still very intimate. Next will be greeting, hospitality, and staff service. Within 10 seconds of walking we were greeted as if we were the most important people to visit this evening. That means that we felt very welcomed upon our arrival. The hospitality did not stop there. We were seated and greeted by Marquez. Now this guy was the star of the evening. He knew the menu and wine pairings in great detail. His recommendations of menu items were outstanding. Seriously, you can tell when somebody takes pride in their work. This gentleman carries himself with great pride and genuine care. That level of self respect is reflective in the respect he shows others. Through him alone he can s 10 out of 10 easily. Now, why we all came. For the food. We ordered the pimento dip for an app. The bread was outstanding. The pimento dip was rich and full of flavor. Home run was the warm honey. Never would have thought of the combination of pimento dip and honey spread across toasted bread. YUM! For the main meal I had ordered the French Dip and the wife ordered the salmon. For the French Dip the star was the freshly made French bread. It was perfect for the large amount of thinly sliced prime rib. Speaking of the meat, the Prime Rib was so tender it nearly will melt in your mouth. The Salmon looked to be perfectly cooked. My wife gave that affirmation after her first bite. Then came the dessert. Ice Cream came with hot fudge both delicious. Key Lime pie was also perfect. It came with a really neat French Whipped Cream infused with key lime. AMAZING flavor and light. Overall, excellent experience, delicious meal, and Marquez was fantastic. If you find yourself looking for somewhere to have a celebratory dinner, recommend this place. Thank you so much to all at The Brinkerhoff for a wonderful evening.

This experience could've been so much better, but unfortunately the service really missed the mark…read more I do feel bad because our server mentioned she was new, but it still doesn't excuse how things went. To start, it took over 30 minutes just for our order to be taken, and then another 30+ minutes for the food to come out. We were there for about 2 hours total when this should've been a maybe hour-long visit. When the food finally came, only half of it was brought out. The rest took another 15+ minutes, so most of us finished eating before the others even got their meals. We were starving after playing pickleball, so that was frustrating. On top of that, we could literally see our food sitting there for a while before it was finally brought out. Another issue was the menu being misleading. The vegan burger is advertised as an Impossible Burger, but it was very clearly a Beyond Burger... which is a big difference if you're vegan. When we brought it up, the server tried to correct us and even showed us a picture of the patties, which honestly just confirmed our concern instead of resolving it. To make it worse, the vegan burger was supposed to come with vegan mayo and tomatoes, but didn't have either. When we asked, we were told they had run out. It would've been nice to know that ahead of time instead of finding out after the food was already served. Also... the men's bathroom was out of soap, which is just not a great look. It makes you question cleanliness overall. It honestly seemed like they were understaffed, and if that's the case, there really should've been a manager stepping in to support the staff and help smooth things over for customers... especially considering the location. I'll end on a positive note... the Oklahoma Onion burger was actually really good (not the vegan one lol) I coud've eaten 2! Oh, and it seems like a good place to come watch sports as there are TV's everywhere and a well staffed bar.

She recommended an off-menu item that definitely needs to be added. It was Mac & cheese with fries, fried chicken, cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce. Sounds weird; tastes amazing. My daughter liked her chicken tenders but definitely wants the Mac and cheese next time. Also the food was HOT when it came out. So good! Great find in Castle Pines!
