Great food and a wonderful location near the Village. It's nice to be able to eat inside or outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is very high quality. Service can be slow sometimes, but the staff is super friendly. They could use a menu refresh, or some specials, as they've had the exact same menu as long as we have lived here (nearly 6 years).

I'm not a fan of Italian restaurants, but this one impressed me. The food was some of the best I've eaten. The ravioli was awesome. It was light but filling. I also had salad and pistachio ice cream which were also very good. The servers were super nice and helpful as I ordered. I opted to sit outside since it was nice and breezy out but had to move inside due to rain. Even the bartender was helpful and engaged me in conversation. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We visited Danielle's late on a Friday evening. It was a nice change to the always crowded restaurants in Castle Rock. The food is fabulously prepared to order in the scratch kitchen. They have a great wine and cocktail list.

We arrived around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was bright and cheery. A few tables were filled inside and outside. Our waiter, Brian, greeted us, asking if we wanted drinks. We ordered some soft drinks while discussing the menu. I wanted to try the 5 cheese stuffed mushrooms - they were pretty good, with some marinara sauce. We ordered the Cabutto Tenuta La Volta 2017. Brian recommended it since it seemed to be the owner's favorite. It paired well with the Vadouvan Spiced Halibut and Pasta Bolognese - both were delicious. For dessert, we both had the crème brûlée which hit the spot.

For dessert, I've only had their creme brûlée; but again, YUMMY. Drinks = They have a good variety of soda, beer, wine, italian sodas, etc. Service = The waiters are always friendly and accommodating. Extra condiments on request! :) The front desk is sometimes not 100% friendly, but that's probably because they're so BUSY. Ambience = The church side has awesome ambience, although it feels a tad cramped. But it's a pretty cool setting for an italian restaurant. The "pizza parlor" side feels more spacious but also more like a typical pizza restaurant. It's fine. Location/parking = Location's near downtown but has plenty of parking down the street. They are basically kings on their block -- not really any other parking competition nearby.

I've been wanting to hit up Scileppi's for a while since I haven't been in town in what seems like forever. Placed a to-go order, came out to $45 + $5 tip for a piece of pizza (added extra toppings), and the gnocchi in vodka sauce instead of red + grilled chicken. Also 4 garlic knots and a cannoli. The pizza was great and the slice was hugeeee. The knots were garlic knots, nothing crazy. But the gnocchi, ugh it was not good. The sauce was so sour like they didn't cook off the vodka or something. Took a couple of bites to make sure I wasn't crazy and tossed it. It wasn't creamy like a typical vodka sauce. There was no flavor in the form of seasoning, just sour. It killed the whole vibe. The chicken was ok but since it had the vodka sauce on it, it was tossed out along with the gnocchi. We shared the slice of pizza and called it a night. Sad night for Italian food and the old stone church.

We stopped in for brunch and everything we ordered was really good, but the Breakfast Hangover Burger completely stole the show for me. A burger topped with smoked ham, an over easy egg, avocado, American cheese, jalapeños, fried onion straws, and sriracha aioli sounds like someone lost a bet and just kept adding ingredients. Somehow it all works perfectly. We also ordered the Monte Cristo, which was crispy, cheesy, and exactly what I want when I order a Monte Cristo. Another highlight weee the donuts. Fresh, hot, and perfect for sharing. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and the whole experience was just really enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip.

As I have the past several times here, I went with the egg and carnitas tacos. I added a side of fresh fruit...both the eggs and fruit were very good. As the Benedict my wife loved is no longer on the menu, she had the avocado toast with eggs. She added a large size of the breakfast potatoes and was glad she did. While she liked the taste of the avocado toast, she was very disappointed in the small size of the portion. She wish she had more. One daughter had the Mardi Gras omelette for the first time. While she liked the flavor, the fact that the ham was a full slice (lunchmeat style), as opposed to chunks or cubes, was weird...and required cutting with a knife. The other daughter tried the quiche for the first time and loved it. It is one of the better quiches around. Coffee is very good as well. Service was fine for the most part.

When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

This barbacoa is so soft, I can only compare it to what people look for in brisket, juicy, flavorful and melts in your mouth. The problem is that it is probably the most inconsistent restaurant I've ever visited; therefore, what you might have and love at one visit has the chance of being completely different, and less appealing, on your next visit. Because of this, we stopped recommending it. We keep getting told the kitchen staff is in training, which is fine, just make sure they follow the same recipes dish after dish. Last night, my wife ordered a side of queso. Our server came out and said that their queso is made to order (?), which is why it hadn't come out. She finally got it when she was on her last couple of bites...and we still got charged!! I had the beef soup. It was ok, I guess, but it wasn't $16 good. Last, but certainly not least, the atmosphere is what, unfortunately, we've come to expect with Mexican restaurants. Bright, cheesy colors and probably the worst Mexican music I've ever heard. Certainly an atmosphere I can't ever remember encountering in Mexico. Lighten the place up and swap the music for Buffett, James Taylor, etc. and create a fun Cabo feel and get the recipes down and it could be a hit.
