Greeted as soon as we walk in. Went here with family party of 6 plus a three year old. Staff were friendly. Service was on point. I ordered the gumbo, which I would rate 3.75 out of 5. It was good, but not good enough to order next time. I also ordered the mahi-mahi sandwich with fries and side ranch. I give the sandwich a 4 out of 5 and would order again when I'm in the mood for something light. Lots of TVs with sports on each one. There is also a small outdoor patio in the front of the restaurant.

Solid and consistent performing restaurant. There aren't a lot of options in this area. It's a good place to have drinks and appetizers as well as an evening meal. Starting with the appetizers, the Oysters on the half shell were incredibly fresh, and the Soft Pretzels with ale cheese dip and amber ale mustard were the perfect combination of savory and indulgent. I have also had the wings which were good. The burger selection is outstanding, with unique options like The Boss featuring carnitas, andouille sausage, ghost pepper cheese, jalapeños, and chipotle aioli.

Dropped in for a quick weekday lunch. Service was immediate, ambiance was calm and had a menu in hand within a couple of minutes. Ordered the blackened chicken with bourbon glaze and sweet potato fries. The meal came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Now the best part, $10.74 plus tip and tax! Say goodbye to mega-corp fast food at these prices and taste some quality food!

First time here thanks to my aunt's recommendation! This place is set up so cute and definitely has the library vibes. The staff is also so so friendly and the owners are awesome. I love that they're from Guadalajara, where my family is from! For food, I tried the chicken parm sandwich and also got to try their onion rings and banana chocolate swirl cake with raspberry drizzle. The crispi-ness of the onion rings were on point and the dessert was a perfect cherry on top to a great meal :) The sandwiches normally come with a side of fries, but you can choose from sweet potato fries or veggies like I did! The veggies were a perfect fry replacement for me.

Great, consistent service for a sports bar. Best wings and fries in the Meadows. Great Gin & Tonic from Nicole at the bar. It gets packed on game / event days and nights... even mid-day... So come early if you want a food table / bar seat. Beware: The blue cheese dressing is mixed with a small amt of paprika to quickly identify ranch vs blue cheese in the kitchen. It's not spiced or anything else... Took 3 trips to ask about it

Ok I wanted to like this place...it's dark and feels a bit unkept...sticky tables and less than enthusiastic staff. I ordered Huevos Rancheros and received a folded over fried egg with red enchilada sauce on top....ummm GROSS! My friend immediately said she would share her chicken sandwich. Here is what I would suggest--stick to what you know! If you don't know what it it is don't offer it on your menu! That was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen! I should have taken a photo but was too mortified to think!!! 2 stars because my friend seemed good with the sandwich otherwise it would have been 1 star

Bartender Nicole was amazing! The cooks EH.. not so much. Ordered my steak medium rare... turned out to be medium-medium well. Had an awful taste to it, also. Order BLUE CHEESE dressing came out in a funky orange color. First time here, won't be back. Sucks it had the Rockies and Avs game on. Good sports bar besides the food! Ordered the bourbon chicken because the steak was over cooked and tasted weird. It was really good until I found a black hair in my food. I can't never win!

It's been our casual and fun go-to spot for a great brunch, lunch, or dinner to enjoy time together or watch a game! We know and enjoy good food and hope it will always be around! The owners are wonderful, and the staff they hire reflect that. Beyond that, what really matters to us, at least, is great food--and Hideaway delivers every time. With the ever-growing Castle Rock food scene, we admit we've strayed from time to time depending on what we're looking for (fine dining, etc.), but we always come back to Hideaway when we want consistently good food, friendly staff, and welcoming owners. We've never had a bad meal. Unfortunately, that's hard to say about other comparable places in the area we have tried (but to each their own). Best onion rings we've tried anywhere (chicken tenders, fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, the Hideaway Signature Pasta--the list goes on), but honestly, everything on the menu we've ordered has been delicious, and every time we go, it takes us a while to decide since everything is so good! Hideaway has become something of a standard we compare to other similar establishments, and we look forward to dining here in the years to come!

It definitely had a kick to it, even without using much of the sauce on the side. Vegetables were good, but when they put the chicken on top of the fries, those end up getting a little soggy. Wanting to try something different, one daughter had the grilled chicken sandwich. While she wasn't terribly impressed at the start, the more she ate, the more she approved, deeming it to be "fine" and something she'd likely get again. The other daughter, also wanting something different, had the green chili burrito. She wasn't as impressed with the dish, saying it didn't have much taste, even after adding good amounts of salt and pepper. The burrito was described as "mid", which I guess means 'not very good.' Doubtful she orders this again. Service was fine at the start, but somewhat sporadic as the meal progressed.
