Great food and a wonderful location near the Village. It's nice to be able to eat inside or outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is very high quality. Service can be slow sometimes, but the staff is super friendly. They could use a menu refresh, or some specials, as they've had the exact same menu as long as we have lived here (nearly 6 years).

I'm not a fan of Italian restaurants, but this one impressed me. The food was some of the best I've eaten. The ravioli was awesome. It was light but filling. I also had salad and pistachio ice cream which were also very good. The servers were super nice and helpful as I ordered. I opted to sit outside since it was nice and breezy out but had to move inside due to rain. Even the bartender was helpful and engaged me in conversation. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We visited Danielle's late on a Friday evening. It was a nice change to the always crowded restaurants in Castle Rock. The food is fabulously prepared to order in the scratch kitchen. They have a great wine and cocktail list.

Slow service, cute inside but food is subpar. I think they could do better with more experienced servers who actually care about their jobs

Really expensive for mediocre food. Limited menu. But they got us right in without a reservation and the waiter was nice and attentive.

We started with the Buratta and enjoyed it. Very fresh. We then followed with the flatbread and enjoyed them both. Nice lunch stop.

An employee even alerted them of a photo op in front of a double rainbow after the storm. The food was great (caprese wrap and the grilled salmon) - and my husband and I plan to go back for date night sometime. Photo is of my delicious drink with gin and elderflower. It was supposed to have bourbon, but they switched it up for me, as bourbon holds bad, 25 year old memories. The butter cake was what I would choose for dessert every time.

We had reservations for 6 and were seated immediately even though our last couple was 25 minutes late. Hunter was 'on' us and drink orders quickly appeared. Dinner orders were delayed until arrival of the last couple and catching up but Hunter was very patient with. The 3 ladies in our group ordered Hamburgers (it being National Cheese Burger week (who knew), and each burger was ordered based on the unique particulars of the orderer. BTW, irrespective of the different particulars each burger was PERFECT! Great job Hunter and kitchen staff!!! Other orders included the Stir Fry, Short Rib Tacos, and a Spicy Pizza. The stir fry was described as 'wonderful'. My Spicy Pizza was AMAZING! The Tacos were equally amazing as I shared part of my pizza in exchange for a taco. I'm not sure how they stuffed that much short rib meat into a taco but they did. And the tacos were very nicely spiced. Nor am I sure how they spiced up the pizza but it was incredibly fresh tasting. AND, because my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary the house comped a dessert brownie topped by a torched house-made marshmallow. Very tasty and very nice of the Canyon House to do that! We stayed a long while and although the restaurant emptied a bit there was no pressure to leave. It was a really great evening. Next time I'd probably opt to dine outside to escape the noise but it was also raining a bit so ....

It originally opened in Castle Rock back in 1996 before moving to Castle Pines, and it still feels like a true neighborhood institution. Be prepared to slow down a bit. When we arrived, they weren't prepared and quickly pulled a table together but missed a chair and setup. This is simple but speaks to oversight and lack of attentiveness. After borrowing a chair from another table, our group sat down and no later than 30 seconds our server was asking what drinks we wanted to order. It would have been helpful to point out the drink menu or give a recommendation versus demanding to know what we wanted. The interior is noisy and covered in carpet. Over half of our orders came out wrong- wrong protein on the wrong plate with wrong side. And to top it all off, did the kitchen lose their seasoning rack? Nothing was seasoned. The steaks were a poor cut, overcooked, the poor vegetables looked like they were boiled and thrown in a serving bowl, and the baked potatoes were either straight up plain or obviously sitting under a heat lamp because the cheese was dried. I envisioned the kitchen cooking in silo, throwing their portions on a plate with no consideration of the whole meal. It's giving cafeteria food. When we go out, we measure quality by evaluating whether we could cook it as well at home. This failed by a significant margin. I'd love to support local restaurants but at this price point and lack of quality, we'll try elsewhere, anywhere but here.

For dessert, I've only had their creme brûlée; but again, YUMMY. Drinks = They have a good variety of soda, beer, wine, italian sodas, etc. Service = The waiters are always friendly and accommodating. Extra condiments on request! :) The front desk is sometimes not 100% friendly, but that's probably because they're so BUSY. Ambience = The church side has awesome ambience, although it feels a tad cramped. But it's a pretty cool setting for an italian restaurant. The "pizza parlor" side feels more spacious but also more like a typical pizza restaurant. It's fine. Location/parking = Location's near downtown but has plenty of parking down the street. They are basically kings on their block -- not really any other parking competition nearby.

What a unique restaurant... inside a restored 1888 stone church. They kept the original stained glass windows, the choir loft & the confessional booth making this one of the most interesting restaurants. The dining area was cozy - not many tables & chairs. Our table was too small for four adults with bread, apps & dinner plates. However, our server was great, very attentive. Always near to clear plates, friendly & fast service. We started with bread & Italian salsa. The bread was good but the salsa was even better. It was fantastic & full of flavor. Next, for apps we had the Meatballs & Fried Calamari. The meatballs needed more seasoning & the sauce was bland. The calamari was rubbery & chewy. The Lemon Aioli that came with it was tasty. Our entrees were the Chicken Parm & the Crab Stuffed Shrimp with Linguine & Sauce. The portion sizes were big. The chicken was prepared nicely & was tender. The sauce unfortunately was bland. Same with the shrimp dish, it needed more seasoning, I didn't taste the crab & the lemon butter sauce had too much garlic for me. Perhaps our meal was a one off. Their menu is extensive & I will give them another try...the Lobster Ravioli sounds good. Note, on the other side of the restaurant is a pizzeria, called Slice Works, with a dining room & outdoor patio. I will try this as well.
