Pre-ordered four dozen mochinut for an event. Picked it up the day before. They don't give discounts but could accommodate our tax free status. We ordered a variety of flavors. They were a hit. Some had not tried them before and wondered what they were. Most liked them after trying. Not for everyone but that's ok. Good choice of dessert for our AAPI event. Parking can be challenging.
We love going to Mochinut! We've been so many times we're pretty sure we've tried all their drinks - sooo delicious and not too sweet! Their mochi donuts are equally as tasty and it's always nice to try their different flavors. We love getting out boba after a nice sushi/hot pot/kbbq date night!
They offer pre-set ramen bowls, and a make your own section which I dig. I ordered the from the make-your-own, but essentially got a spicy chicken ramen which was true to its name. I can handle spice, but it took a few sips of the broth to acclimate. My spouse got the Cashu ramen which was also delicious. We shared an order of the boa buns with pork belly as well, they too were yummy. The service was good, although initially we thought it was a self serve kind of place, but turns out the young man refilled our drinks, served our food, and cleared our plates. The ambiance was clean and quite as we'd gotten there right at opening time. We will most certainly go back.
I feel extremely lucky to have this store in my neighborhood only 10 minutes away from my house. Although I frankly admit that I'm not necessarily a big donut person, if I start craving something sweet there is a good store that's within my close proximity. To clarify everyone's possible question as to how their donuts are made, they don't necessarily use mochi rice flour to make the donuts is what I heard from the young lady at the counter. But the texture is definitely that of mochi: chewy! I had to ask the lady which one(s) is/are the top selling one(s). She said Strawberry, Chocochurro, and Original. Oh, let's not forget to mention; you have to buy a minimum of three (so you can't buy just one; this is the only bummer thing I can say about this place.) I decided go with what she told me as the best selling ones to make it easy. Despite the dense mochi texture, the donuts are somewhat airy so they are light (at least that's how I tasted.) And unlike traditional donuts, they are not oily, either so they are calorie-conscious, too. Ones that have grazing are not heavily grazed so icing is not over the top, either. These mochi donuts are healthier alternatives which everyone can appreciate. On top of the donuts they make, they have several soft-serve items which I cannot wait to try next time I go there. And what's great about this store is that it is two-in-one store with a coffee shop right next to it so I certainly appreciate the symbiotic relationship!! Great concept for sure!
Glad I finally got to Mochinut. Having heard about Korean hot dogs for a while I finally made my way to Mochinut. There was a good crowd at 2pm on a Sunday so that's a good sign first and foremost. I originally planned on just the corn dogs but also tried three of the mochi donuts and a boba drink. The corn dogs/deep fried cheese were my favorite. I shared an all mozzarella ramen as well as a half cheddar half dog in potato and a half mozzarella half hot dog in hot Cheetos. All were fried to perfection. I liked all of them yet my favorite is tied between the ramen and potato. I tried three of the donuts. The original was very good as were the cookie butter and mango banana. They are lighter & chewier than a traditional doughnut. Be aware they are very sweet so pair with a coffee/tea (coffee shop literally next door with a door in-between the shops. I had the thai tea boba. What I like about mochinut is that it is in a can that you open when ready. The thai tea was good albeit quite sweet. Getting the boba out though was harder than a traditional cup though. The parking can be tricky as the strip mall has several others businesses (Sushi Katsu was closed due to it being Sunday) so be prepared to wait or find street parking. Will come back to mochinut for another experience soon.
Wow.... I didn't really know what to expect, and I was thoroughly impressed! Came here on a whim, abs tried a few of their flavors and their special of the day! The shop is bright & fun, and the staff friendly. Prices were reasonable too. Onto the donuts... we'll they all look perfect. So uniform & amazing looking that you think they couldn't possibly taste as good as they look. Well- not true! They're sweet, chewy, soft, and not overly sweet! My personal favorite was the cinnamon sugar dusted one. But they were all so good!
MochiNut has finally arrived in Colorado. I didn't think I could like mochi donuts until I went to MochiNut in California and it changed my opinion that not all mochi donuts have a gum like texture to it. They can be soft and chewy but still feel like a donut. There are a lot more flavors offered at the Aurora location on a daily basis. At the Arcadia location, there were only 6 options a day. There's a variety in flavors and they do taste like what you would buy. For example, I ordered the lychee and it did taste like a lychee not just a regular donut with a lychee on it. This place can get crowded depending on when you arrive. I came at 11:30 and 15 minutes later, it was packed. The corn dogs are made to order. You can see them drying the donuts which is pretty cool. The ramen corn dog was really delicious. I definitely prefer it over the potato.
Mochi donuts, boba tea, AND rice dogs?!?! Say no more! I came to Mochinut on opening weekend and am already drooling thinking about my next visit. In spite of being grand opening- their staff and team worked like a well-oiled engine. I had hardly any line wait, and my food was prepared fresh and quickly! Exceptional customer service- the team was so nice and willing to explain all the rice dogs to me (think a corn dog but even BETTER!). It's hard to pick a favorite. Let's start with the rice dogs! I got three- the traditional, the potato, and a half-half with mozzarella and hot dog. All three tasty; I think maybe I over-ordered, but leftovers never hurt no one. ;) Be sure to try their sauces! You can pick your own; I like the spicy mayo the most. Boba tea... but in a can! I mean, how adorable and practical? No more spilled tea as you drive home. I got the thai tea and no complaints. Finally- the main showstopper, their mochi donuts, or mochinut! SO many fun flavors- my fav was between the black sesame and the matcha. You can't go wrong!
I like that they have hot food (variety of Korean corndogs) as well as the mochi donuts and boba!Boba! The place was clean and corndogs were cooked upon ordering. We waited 5 to 10 mins for 4 corndogs and they're huge! The boba is made there but served in a can which made it easy to throw in my bag while I carried everything else and drink when I was ready! I like that you could even order some to store in your fridge for future days since it's in a can Everything we got tasted great! The recipe for their dough is top notch the mochinut flavors were simple and not loaded with icing like other places do. A sprinkle of powdered sugar and a drizzle of strawberry sauce was more than enough flavor without the extra sugar. Their other flavors were similar (sprinkle and a drizzle, the Nutella one was the only one with a layer of icing that I saw) so I feel better about my kids eating these!
This place is so instagramable! I love the flower wall they have and of course, the aesthetics of the actual food! I was so happy to find the mochi donut has finally made its way to Colorado as it was one of my favorite treats in California. The mochi donut is a hybrid between a beloved american donut and a Japanese mochi. Its chewy and soft, hit with some sweetness from the icing on top. Only thing about this place's mochi donut was that it was missing the crispiness that you find on the outside. Other than that, this is still worth the drive over. It has a variety of flavors that changes every week! My favorite this week had to be the Chocolate Churro. It was divine! They also have the Korean hotdogs here! Absolutely was my favorite, I highly trying the 1/2 mozzarella and hot dog, coated with some sugar! It was so goood!! The crunchy coating and cheesiness in the first bite was everything!
Super cute and chill. Service was friendly, informative and patient. Enjoyed trying different flavors of donuts but with they were warm. My favorite has to be the funnel cake donut. I didn't like the coffee boba I ordered so the young lady let me exchange it for the summer special "blueberry lavender" and it was so good!

Always wanted to try this place but never had the time. We decided to stop in today and wow this place is amazing. The interior is nicely decorated with a floral wall. Great for group photos! The doughnuts have always been a hit at parties. The service was excellent she recommended her favorite flavors and boba drinks to us. I will definitely be back again
We brought my parents here to try something new. They don't often try things that are unfamiliar, but they couldn't stop raving about these Korean hotdogs! They offer several combinations, including cheddar, mozzarella, hotdog, and rice cake, with a bunch of different sauces and three different crunchy toppings. It was my first time trying the crunchy ramen and I highly recommend it! We also got a strawberry latte with popping Boba and a couple of mochi donuts to share. It was the perfect light meal, and we will all be back for more! read more
If you are a Korean street food lover, this is the place for you. The menu has variety of Korean corn dogs and you get a choice of 2 sauces out of 8 (i believe) to choose from. They also have mochi donuts and milk tea boba drinks as well. The employees here are always nice & will answer any questions you have. I like the vibe at Mochinut. You have the option of sitting on high tables by the window or lower tables. And the flower wall is definitely a VIBE . Make sure to take your pictures to post on Instagram by it! read more
Starting note: don't know when their official opening day was, but as of this review this place is now a ramen shop, and the Mochinut is now combined with Coffee Story next door. Another note: this might be a more critical review because of I've had some pretty awesome ramen before. Had two ramen and ordered some baos. Baos were great, especially the pork belly. For ramen, ordered the Menya special and the chasu. The broth was pretty good! All the ramen toppings were also pretty good. What made the ramen mediocre was the noodles. You get an option of straight or wavy, got two wavy (wavy supposed to be thicker). The noodles were definitely overcooked. Just a bit mushy with zero chew. Not satisfying at all. The place has a good vibe and a good amount of seating. Happy that there's a ramen shop at this location, but could use a bit of improvement. read more

We tried the boba tea and three mochinuts. Everything was so good- just the right balance of sweetness. If you're caffeine sensitive like my husband and I, the Thai tea definitely has caffeine in it, although the ladies at the counter said it did not. Thankfully we shared it and it didn't cause an issue, but just be aware. My husband and I disagreed on which of the donuts were the best, but I thought the order from best to still good was- cookies and cream, the salted caramel and pretzel, and then the raspberry funnel cake. My husband preferred the raspberry funnel cake over the salted caramel and pretzel. The fact that we disagreed tells you just how good everything is! You can't go wrong. We will absolutely be back, especially to try the rice dogs and some other milk teas! read more
Super friendly service, excellent mochi donuts (if you've never tried them, you've GOT to!!), and high quality boba teas. I wish I lived closer to this great little spot because I'd be here ALL the time. I haven't tried their hot dogs yet, but I'll have to check that out next time. read more

I went to the Centennial location. A little small but that's OK great atmosphere and nice. Customer Service helped me out understanding everything on the menu and helping me pick my choices. Would definitely come here again. Got a couple corn dogs and some Boba drinks. read more

Today was a cheat kinda day as well. I'm having cravings! I'm not pregnant! Lol It's just one of those days. I looked up the nearest mochi donut shop and it pointed me here. So, here I am buying mochi donuts. The place is super cute and staff was helpful in suggestions. All I remember was I got a strawberry, Oreo, and blueberry. Oh boy, got home here after getting 17k steps in and having a taste of these mochi donuts. Yummy in my tummy, as I always say. Lol Who can go wrong when it comes to sweets?! It's the sweet things in life that we look forward to;) Definitely come check this place out. read more

Super delicious! I have the Thai Tea, OG corn dog with spicy Mayo, the blueberry, melon, and raspberry donuts. My friend got the other Berry, the cinnamon, and OG one. Honestly, blueberries and raspberries are my favorites. The cinnamon chocolate one tasted like churros nothing to write home about. The OG is fine as a taste but definitely try those Berry ones. The tea was good and what I expected. The corn dog was delicious! Absolutely loved it. She really liked hers as well. We want to try the OG to see if we would like the batter or not and definitely liked it. Curious about the other flavors now. Also you definitely will get full from 3 of those sugar donuts! Lol Definitely will be back but maybe only for a single donut and corn dog lol. Also they have a photo wall that's cute for a selfie or for a photo if you want that and are into that as well. read more

The food is great, I've been here multiple times and keep coming back with other people to make them try it out. I love getting a dozen doughnuts to bring home to my family. I love when they serve the boba (bubble tea) in the cute soda like cans. My favorite flavors are Ube and Matcha. The Korean corn dogs are amazing too, my brother has tried them all with me at one point or another. Our favorites are the potato one and the hot Cheeto one. The service is always speedy and we never have to wait too long even though they freshly prepare the corn dogs to order. They even have a cute wall for photos and overall the ambiance is super cute in here. read more

Exactly what I expected! I have been to mochinut in other states. So happy that they are now here in Colorado! I love that the flavors are always different. Hand down my favorite flavor is blueberry and Thai tea! I will definitely come back to get the corn dogs and can't wait to try the other flavors. The only downside is they don't have any water!!!! You can't ask for a cup of water you must get a tea if you want a drink..... read more

I am so thrilled to finally have stopped in to Mochinut! I loooove love love a mochi donut so it has been on my list pretty much since they have opened. For those that have never tried one; get it together because they are absolutely the better donut. But it doesn't end there. They also have boba and Korean Corn Dogs. Talk about heaven... on a stick. Firstly the donuts. Perfection. Exactly what I come to expect from a Mochi Donut. Seriously the perfect consistency, fluffy and amazing. I am honestly thankful I don't live close to any mochi donut spots because it would honestly become a problem lol. I love that they change up their flavors weekly. I have to say the cinnamon churro was my absolute fave with the hazelnut coming in second. The flavor changing is honestly a blessing and a curse because I am always like wait I need to try the new ones lol. Follow them on insta but just realize the temptation is real lol. The boba was good. I got the Ube and it was interesting, it was very buttery. I thought the can was a cool way to serve it. Different. Now let's get to the Korean Hot Dogs. I am so mad because these are like the best things ever. It's really unfair how delicious they are. The hot Cheetos with cheese was my favorite, the cheese was ooey - gooey and the hot Cheetos crusted on the wonderful batter. Really something special. I got the hot dog in the potato and that was good too, but the Cheetos is the clear winner. I think they also have a regular and I swear I saw a ramen one so naturally I will have to come back and try these. All in all stop in; order everything, and live your best life! read more

Mochinut is mochi + donut. It tastes like donut, but the texture is chewy like a mochi. Is it better than a donut? My opinion is mochinut is not really better than donut. I prefer mochi ice cream though. Why only 3 stars? They only sell mochinut in 3, 6 or 12. The store also sell sugary drinks, so it is sugar on top of more sugar, too one sided. read more
Mochinut is a fun spot that offers up some of the newest foodie trends! Here you'll find mochi donuts, milk teas, and cheese dogs. Everything is made fresh and definitely worth the try! The mochi donuts have a great chew on them and the rotating flavors offer up something for everyone. We had the matcha, chocolate churro, and the strawberry. The chocolate churro was a favorite for me. All of them were delicious! I did a half and half cheese dog (half cheese and half corn dog) with potato on the outside. It was fried to perfection! So good! The ube milk tea was sweet. A little too sweet for me but still offered up a nice flavor. We'll definitely be returning soon for some more sweet treats! read more

Good donuts. Boba was good too but they don't have too many options to choose from. Service was kind of lagging. They got one of our donuts wrong and then forgot to make our boba so we had to go ask after we saw multiple other people getting their orders before ours. We waited awhile for our boba drink. The texture of the boba in the milk tea at Mochinut was surprisingly good and probably among the best ones tasted to date. Besides the Thai Tea and Brown Sugar flavors ordered, they also have Ube, Green Tea, Strawberry Latte, Coffee and Milk Tea. Yes, they also have their namesake Korean mochinut and rice hot dogs, which are equally tasty. Highly recommended. read more
Came here for lunch on a Thursday with a coworker and there was no wait at all. The cashier was super nice and helpful and explained everything after asking if we've been there before. We got the potato hot dogs (regular is $5 and half cheese/half meat is $5.50). The hot dog was heavy and it was pretty good. The exterior was crisp and with the sauces they offer on the side, it was a good addition to the hot dog. I would go here again if I wanted a pretty cheap but satisfying snack or for my lunch again haha. The mochi donuts were different but not bad overall. We got a caramel churro, matcha, and strawberry funnel donut. The churro one was probably my favorite since it was simple yet still good. These are kinda pricey for donuts ($3 each) and you have to buy them in packs so I would probably not get them too often. They also rotate flavors every Tuesday and Friday according to the cashier so make sure to check out their Instagram for the flavors! read more

Didn't get any donuts here, just two Korean Hot Dogs. Both were okay, not the best that I've had. It was crispy and satisfying to bite into, but the breading around was a little bit uneven and made it a little difficult to eat. I also heard a manager/owner(?) talking to an employee in the back with a really harsh tone and it sounded like she wasn't being very kind to the employee. Lacked professionalism doing that in front of customers and I don't appreciate places that treat their employees in that way. I won't choose to come here again. Only come to this place if you are in Aurora and want to try something similar to the infamous Korean Hot/Corn Dogs. read more
The donuts and Ube are very good. They were so busy on 10/31 that they barely could keep it it seemed. Didn't have a lot of available flavors due to demand. I ordered the Ube boba which was delicious and they canned it. Also got the funnel cake, strawberry and matcha donut which were yummy. The strawberry was the best ones The reason I'm only giving 4-stars because I felt like the business was being dishonest and false advertising a free donut during their soft opening from 10/29-10/31. Cute shop with a variety of mochi donut flavors! I love the churro one. The staff here are also very friendly. The shop is connected to the coffee shop next door. I hope they'll introduce more natural flavors (mango, passion fruit, etc) without the cereals, cookies and stuff on top. That would definitely make me come back! read more

I was excited to hear that Mochinut was coming to Colorado, as I have heard about their donuts and have been wanting to try them out. They have a wide variety of flavors ranging from more american style flavors to classic asian flavors. They also change their donut flavors weekly so you can always stop by and try something new. When I went I picked out the black sesame donut, the churro donut, and a classic plain glazed donut. The black sesame donut truly tasted like sesame which was great but was a tad bit too sweet for me. The churro donut was topped with cinnamon/sugar and was good as well. I will say that their donuts are a bit on the chewier side, but that is to be expected with mochi style donuts. In addition to the donuts we also tried their corn dogs which were definitely the stand out at Mochinut. We got two corn dogs, both half cheese and half hot dog, but one regular breading and the other spicy cheeto breaded. These corn dogs are extremely crunchy and filled to the brim with cheese. If you like long cheese pulls then this is the food for you to get! The hot dog also pairs extremely well with the cheese. I would also definitely recommend getting the spicy cheeto corn dog as it adds a little kick to the dish. All in all if you are looking to try some mochi donuts with a bunch of different flavors or have a nice fried corn dog then this is definitely a place to check out. read more
