Wanna Poke always hits the spot. They are open every day from 11-9pm, except on Tuesdays (when they are closed). Their bowls are plentiful and come with lots of fresh ingredients. They have many signature bowls as well as build-your-own options, which is my go-to. Each bowl comes with two generous scoops of protein and miso soup. Service is quick and counter-style, where you select your ingredients as they make your bowl. Wanna poke is an awesome poke place, but what is special about coming here versus other poke locations is it is a local small business and they serve other food besides just poke. For instance my husband got their spicy beef bowl and loved it. They've got ramen, boba, appetizers like gyoza, and wontons and more! When I come I usually do the create your own poke bowl. Passing by this strip mall you would never think there was a stellar poke place but hey-o, Wanna Poke coming in hot! I've only ordered through the app and both times have been fantastic experiences. You can order before they open, they include a side of miso soup and they hook it up! The portions are huge and they have a number of add ins so the possibilities are endless! We found this place during Covid. We would order ahead and pick-up. They have been accurate with their orders and the ramen is really great!! They have a crab salad that I love. Super friendly people that run Wanna Poke. However the taste just isn't there. The spicy mayo is spicy but otherwise feels like it came out of a bottle from the store. To their credit the fish is super fresh and so are all the other add-ons you can throw in the bowl. You get a generous portion for the medium bowl but it's just not filling. Maybe make a bowl here and leave the sauces out until you get home to add something you like? I don't know. So many poke places and unfortunately this is one I would not recommend it. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite ramen places I've experienced in Denver. I'm also insanely glad to see how heavily chicken broth is used for their options, rather than everything having pork like some other establishment I checked out around here. I got the creamy ramen with chicken, my wife got the spicy creamy ramen with beef. They came out at a pretty good time and man, just from the first bite to the last, it was fulfilling. The broth was on point, the meat was delicious. I tasted some of the beef and enjoyed that more than the chicken but they were both good. I'll probably do beef and a different type of ramen broth next time The presentation of the bowls were great, and the speed of service and friendly staff was great. Ramen is on the menu and so are some delicious sounding appetizers (crab and cheese wontons, gyoza) they sell boba too. Basically a little one-stop Asian shop. I dig it - something a little different from the other poke spots in town. The boyfriend and I decided to try them out one Friday night. Service was really friendly and warm and the food itself was pretty good. I made my own bowl, as per usual, and chose tuna and salmon for my proteins. Their fish was fresh and they had a decent amount of toppings plus a great deal of sauce options to mix and match. It may just have been my choice of sauce combo, but it wasn't my favorite tasting poke bowl ever. I did appreciate the option of topping your bowl with an Asian style hard-boiled eggs which I've never seen before, so you know I had to get in on this. This shop is a great option for poke without having to go into the city, and I definitely want to come back in to try their ramen. read more

I got a salad based poke bowl with salmon, spicy mayo, and some spicy tuna with all the fixins'. It was very decent. My companion got the unagi, and she thought it could have been cooked longer.
