Wanna Poke always hits the spot. They are open every day from 11-9pm, except on Tuesdays (when they are closed). Their bowls are plentiful and come with lots of fresh ingredients. They have many signature bowls as well as build-your-own options, which is my go-to. Each bowl comes with two generous scoops of protein and miso soup. Service is quick and counter-style, where you select your ingredients as they make your bowl. You may eat at the restaurant, but I usually get mine to go since I usually pick up my food when I am doing errands in the area.

Add this to your list! Wanna poke is an awesome poke place, but what is special about coming here versus other poke locations is it is a local small business and they serve other food besides just poke. For instance my husband got their spicy beef bowl and loved it. They've got ramen, boba, appetizers like gyoza, and wontons and more! When I come I usually do the create your own poke bowl. They've got tons of options for toppings and the ingredients are fresh. The staff here are friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Usually it is quiet inside, the place is clean, and they've got fast service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We just discovered this place!! We were greeted by the nicest lady behind the counter, answering our questions and discussing spiciness!! She is just so sweet! I got the Chicken Curry Ramen and it was amazing! The flavors.... Ohmygoodness! She brought out some extra spice in case we wanted to try it.... So glad she did! Absolutely amazing!! Now I want to go back and try a build your own poke bowl!

We come here to take out after going to workout at the rec center. The food is always fresh and made to order. The service is friendly and fast. Recommend this place!

Was in the area for work and one of our clients suggested Wanna Poke. I haven't had good poke since moving to CO. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant was very clean, & staff were very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had placed and order to pick up and it was ready when I had arrived. Definitely recommend, will be coming back next time I'm in the area

Passing by this strip mall you would never think there was a stellar poke place but hey-o, Wanna Poke coming in hot! I've only ordered through the app and both times have been fantastic experiences. You can order before they open, they include a side of miso soup and they hook it up! The portions are huge and they have a number of add ins so the possibilities are endless! Spicy tuna is my new favorite of mine and the spicy crab salad is terrific as well. I tend to like building my own bowl vs ordering from the set ones off the menu but to each their own! I can't vouch for their ramen but if you're looking for poke in Aurora, this is your spot!

    The best poke around!

I wasn't sure if I should write an updated review for Wanna Poke since it hasn't changed. But I do want Yelpers to know... it still is THE BEST! I've had poke all around this area of Aurora and Wanna Poke not only offers the best price and toppings... each bowl also comes with a miso soup!! Happiness... I genuinely will crave it and go out of my way to get it. Choose exactly which proteins and toppings you want by building your own bowl!! There's no extra charge for avocado (the way they do at some poke spots, especially in CA) and the creamy sesame sauce brings it all home!! Definitely try it out! It's never very busy or has a long line... I'm always in and out!

The broths in both bowls were not as flavorful as expected, and the broth-to-noodle ratio felt a bit off. The chicken buns were good and probably the highlight of the meal. Vegetarian Options They do offer vegetarian options for ramen as well as some appetizers, which is nice to see. Service Service was quick and efficient, and the food came out promptly. Ambience The place is clean and has a simple, decent ambience. Overall, the experience was okay but nothing particularly memorable, especially when it comes to the ramen.

I got to (re)appreciate this business that's in my direct neighborhood today…read more I don't quite recall when the last time was when I utilized this restaurant. I wanted something super quick and yet something of quality (as I was headed my way to my side hustle later in the afternoon.) Asuka Ramen and Poke, all of a sudden, hit me with a thought, "It's been a while since I last used them for a good poke bowl." In a way, it was an opportunity for me to appreciate it for the first time in a while so I did just that. They use a deep (large) bowl for the Build Your Own poke bowl (this is the only size) for to-go. When I asked for "half and half" for the base (white rice and greens), the young man behind the ordering counter generously pressed the white sushi rice into it. He then placed some green leaves on one side of it. "Looking good" I thought. For the protein, I chose salmon, tuna and yellowtail. For the rest (such as sauce etc.) I don't quite remember what I got me and yet, this young man sure wasn't anything close to "stingy" (lol)! As to show his appreciation for my business, he built my bowl with precision and generosity. I like the fact that they have one size for to-go poke bowl (this simplifies the process on their end and our end.) At the flat rate of $16 (unless you get additional protein which is $3) is also reasonable for the size. I got the impression that this is a business that they simply don't operate for profit; they operate for the social responsibility's sake. And of course, this above-and-beyond young man didn't fail to forget to ask me if I would need utensils or drink. He gave me everything I would need. Once I got to my job site, I parked my car in the parking lot and started devouring my beautifully tailored (to my preferences) bowl. The fresh ingredients, the way it was built, and the overall volume of it, it was impossible for me to find a single reason why this was one of the best poke bowls I've had in the recent few months. That was when I came to appreciate how lucky I am to live just up the street from this tiny and yet mighty poke place. I need to visit this place more going forward.

This spot is perfect for anything from a casual lunch with coworkers or clients to dinner with family, friends, or even a date night. It's a clean, cozy hole-in-the-wall that consistently delivers a great meal. There's a TV menu on the right when you walk in, along with daily specials on a chalkboard. Just order, pay, grab a seat, and enjoy. However, within a few minutes of placing the order I received a call, wanting to confirm which location I had wanted to place the order through. I had accidentally chosen the wrong location so they canceled my order and had me place it again online. They called the other individual I was with who also placed an order. This must happen pretty often if they're calling every single person that places an online order and I will say that I did not notice that I picked the wrong location when I placed the order. So I was grateful that they called to confirm. The order was ready when we arrive to the location and everything was accurate. I started with edamame. And I will say it is pretty standard edamame. I also wanted to try a California roll. It was really fresh and I would definitely order one again. My favorite of the appetizers was that Gyoza. Those were so good. I always order them with Ramen in Kansas City but these knocked any of those out of the park. For Ramen, I went with a classic tonkatsu. The menu description said that it came with corn and bok choy, but I was missing both of those items. The Ramen itself was really good. The broth was super rich and they gave you a lot. There were also a lot of Ramen noodles. And I did like the addition of the bamboo shoots. The marinated egg was fantastic. This classic was so tasty. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit pretty often. There's so many different menu items that looked so good and I'm sure the other Ramen varieties are fantastic as well.
