Such a sweet little place. We got the Beef Ramen, Miso Udon, and Salmon Bento. All were great, simple meals but very tasty and filling.

We stopped for dinner on weekday night and were the only customers eating there. The shop is run by a super nice couple who was very attentive. I ended up trying their Beef Hot Pot tofu stew. I think I just had more expectations that it would be more like the other tofu stews I have tried. The tofu used was firm tofu instead of silken and the broth seemed more savory, almost like a ramen broth instead of being lighter. I would consider coming back again but maybe trying another dish.

Oh wow, a small charming mom & pop shop that has really good comfort food. Really friendly service and hot piping fresh made dishes. A nice find!

I have enjoyed eating at Sakura for many years. First, the owners are wonderful. I love seeing a couple run a restaurant all by themselves. Then, the food has been great! My favorite is the katsu chicken bento box or the bibimbap. You can't go wrong with those. I had the ramen tonight for the first time and thought it was very good. Try this out!!

Family owned, very warm and inviting. Bento and ramen is packed with flavor and the broth is among the best around. They are understaffed, so please be kind and patient but like others, we were willing to wait.

We came here for Valentine's dinner and it's really good food for a cheap prices however theres no table service, you order at the counter and then they'll bring it out later. They also don't Serve alcohol. Anyway all food was good so no complaints.

Miso soup is piping, full bodied without being heavy, zestful and delicious. Salad had light crispy dressing. Vegetables also lightly flavored as served under meat. Karl-bi beef was seared, tangy, a hint of sweet and delicious. Many more things to try on next visit!

Owner put the my Togo in the car because I was carrying my child (he insisted) and he put the seat belt on.

Dined in once, did to-go once. ONLY because I recently found this place. The bento box set is delicious and filling! The service may be a bit slow but it's literally run by a husband and wife probably in their 50s! I applaud them for the home-cooked tasting meals. The restaurant interior itself is adorable and humble. It does feel like you're in Japan with it's small size and decor. Sometimes simple is best and they definitely cook from the heart. The miso soup is perfect ratio between broth and water. The veges are crispy and clean The meat (I had unagi) cooked to perfection (both times!) Rice is on point. Atmosphere: I'm sure there was more seating before covid. The decor is homey. Service: it's an old couple.. don't be an A******. Expect service to be a bit slow when it gets busy. They are sweet. Price: worth it. Food: nomnomnom

It's places like these that will always be my favorite! A hole in the wall with a few tables that serves some of my favorite ramen in Colorado! It's a husband and wife duo who do it all and provide some of the warmest service I've ever received. Their spicy veggie ramen is my go to!

They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

The experience here is exactly what I want from Korean BBQ: lively, satisfying, and easy to settle into for a while. The cheese corn is an absolute must and easily one of the best sides on the table. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting, and the meats were the real highlight. The pork belly was rich and well cut, the bulgogi was flavorful, and the short ribs were tender and cooked beautifully. This isn't an AYCE place like many other Korean BBQ restaurants, so expect to pay per meat selection. The prices are comparable to other non-AYCE restaurants in Aurora though. Total for the two of us: about $200, which included the tip. We dined on a weeknight so there wasn't a wait but I assume there is one on the weekends since the restaurant is fairly small. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) They even have a button on the wall to call your server over and make things easy. The place is clean and well-decorated We ordered the seafood pancake appetizer and 2 different meats for the grill - the bulgogi and chadol. Both were so good, the chadol was my favorite. Unfortunately, the experience was mixed--and ultimately disappointing. Before the meal, I stopped by the restroom to wash my hands. Both soap dispensers were empty or not working. I notified the bathroom attendant, assuming it would be quickly addressed. At the time, I brushed it off as a minor oversight. One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is always the variety of vegetable side dishes, and this visit did not disappoint in that regard. The assortment of banchan was plentiful--definitely the best part of the meal and something I always look forward to. However, the main dish fell short. I ordered the Kalbi Tang, which was quite disappointing. The beef ribs were clearly undercooked; the meat was tough, bristly, and difficult to chew. Instead of the tender, slow-cooked texture you expect from this dish. After the meal, I returned to the restroom--and to my surprise, the soap dispensers were still not working. This was no longer a small issue. It raised a serious concern: if customers didn't have access to soap, it's very possible that employees didn't either. The thought that staff might be handling food without properly washing their hands is unsettling and frankly unacceptable. I once heard a food inspector say that if you want to judge a restaurant, check the bathroom first. If they don't care about maintaining a basic level of cleanliness, it often reflects what's happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced that idea. While the side dishes were enjoyable, the combination of poor entree quality and concerning hygiene issues makes it hard to recommend returning anytime soon.
