Two red bowls of poke with fresh vegetables, sliced cucumbers, and toppings on a dark table, featuring raw fish, sauces, and garnishes.

Came in for a quick meal after Pilates and decided to order the spicy shoyu bowl and it was good! I couldn't finish it because it did feel a little bit mushy after a while but the flavor was great. The service was great and I believe it was the owner who we met and she was very enthusiastic and kind. There was a two hour lot right next to the building and it was perfect because finding street parking in the area could be difficult during busy times.

I stopped in for a poke bowl yesterday as I had not had any poke in Denver since moving here in April. I read some rave reviews and headed on over. First up, there is free parking in the garage behind. There are some characters hanging around the building so I did feel like I had to hurry to and from. Inside, there is self serve water and a giant menu on the wall and photos of popular dishes. I opted for the combo with limu ahi and salmon. I forgot to specify that I wanted rice but turns out that's what they put in the bowl anyway. There small to go containers with a dollop of wasabi inside. I asked for two since I LOVE wasabi The fish is very fresh and they are thick cuts. The lomi is cubed and the salmon was cut in slices like sashimi. The bowl also had a scoop of crab mix, a small scoop of seaweed salad, and pickled cucumbers. I did find some large clumps of rice that was a bit hard. Overall, the fish is very fresh and tasty and it is a solid bowl but I felt the bowl was expensive for what it was. I am going to test out some other poke in the city and then see if I return here.

2 combo with sesame ahi and salmon ( sorry I had already taken a few bites before deciding I need to document it) - A poke bowl containing slices of salmon, tuna, rice, and vegetables, with a bottled Arizona watermelon-flavored water, placed on a wooden table by a window.

Aloha Cones is getting a buzz around town and I decided to check it out today and I was not disappointed!!! It's was so tasty and by far the best poke bowl I've had in Denver. The fish was high quality and they were generous in their portions. I had the combination bowl; I selected the Sesame Ahi and Salmon. I loved the use of Hawaiian sea salt, it added a unique texture and flavor. It's a casual dinning environment ( nothing fancy) but the food and the friendly severe more than makes up for that. It's on Broadway and it's busy down there, so I was happy to see they had free parking right next the restaurant. I suspect this will be my go to next summer when I need to pack a dinner for outdoor concerts.

Aloha Cones is THEE place to get poke in Denver. They get their fish flown in regularly and its quality and freshness is comparable to the upscale sushi restaurants in town. They are family owned and have another location in Hawaii! They know their fish. Aside from their food, the location is right near downtown but they actually have free parking which is a huge plus. But the main reason I wanted to write this review is because the owner of Aloha Cones is the sweetest human being and such a highly talented chef! He knows what pairs correctly with the different types of fish and he is always cooking up something delicious for his team! He is so generous and always gives me a sample... honestly wish he would start selling his personal dishes or even open up his own Thai/Lao restaurant here in Denver. He is amazingly gifted, so generous, and deserves all the business!! Fun addition, he also preps an entire tuna and salmon during the day and allows his customers to watch! What a treat!!

This is the best poke spot in Denver. I now exclusively crave poke from here. The fish was so fresh and delicious. It was the perfect portion size. Loved the amount of seasons and the rice was amazingly cooked.

    Charashi and shoyu combo

I think this was our third or maybe fourth time back since our first time here and we loved it just as much as the first. The quality of the fish is excellent and the portions are very generous. My wife works close by and this time it was me her and our daughter and we all did the two choice combo. It doesn't make me sad my son isn't a fan of sushi/poke. But I do wish we could get here more often. It's is delicious and we can't wait to come back again

2 Choice Combination Limu and Sesame Ahi Poke! Generous portions, very fresh and authentic! Straight from Hawaii!! - A poke dish featuring raw fish, cherry tomatoes, sliced onions, green onions, seaweed, and a side of sauce, garnished with sesame seeds.

Loved stumbling upon this little gem. The owner is legit Hawaiian and the food is freshly imported overnight straight from Hawaii! It tastes delicious with generous portions, and you can even get some Hawaiian candies! Some people might get sticker shock from the price, but honestly prices are pretty comparable to getting poke while in Hawaii nowadays. Would recommend!

Originally from Oahu, this is a LEGIT poke place where things are pre-marinaded, not build your own (although I like those too). Super good quality fish that is flown in, and immediately transports me back to Hawaii when I have it. The owners are super nice to chat with. They have some Hawaiian candies and merch for sale too.

If you're looking for the best Sushi bowl in the world you need to come here! They use fresh fish straight from the auction every day and they prepare their bowls very differently from other typical poke bowls. Their sushi bowls are very fresh and cannot be compared to any other place to be quite honest. You ever go home after eating somewhere and then think about the place and crave it again ? Yeah that's this place! Just writing this review has me wanting to go back tomorrow! On special occasions to be different I do order their sushi cake which comes with the layers of spicy ahi and crab in the middle and then topped with their fresh sashimi selection of the day and topped with Ikura and edible flowers! This cake always impresses whatever party I am going to or any person that I'm gifting it to! They do not disappoint!

It's really hard to find a good poke spot in Colorado, especially as fresh as this place makes it. Michelle was super kind and welcoming, you can definitely feel the Aloha. It felt like we were right at home eating there. First impressions of the poke, we were pleasantly surprised on how fresh the fish was. The bowl was filling, but so good it makes you want to get seconds maybe even thirds! We live about 30 minutes away from Aloha Cones, but definitely worth coming back for more. Thank you for spreading the Aloha!
