Despite solid a 4-star rating this sushi restaurant has been maintaining, I personally and fairly think that this is a 3-star restaurant. Just so you know, my yesterday's to-go/pick up experience went smoothly from placing an order online with no confusion to arriving at the restaurant 10 minutes before the pick up time I specified but my order had already been made and ready for a pick up and this kind lady smiling to welcome me with her super swift/prompt assistance to see if I wanted to sit down and eat or place a to-go order. She was also kind enough to ask me if I had utilized the restaurant before. Service is solid here (no doubt.) But for some reason, this didn't satisfy me. I guess in my mind, I was looking for "quality" sushi. Maybe I had very high expectations for this place based on the reviews (the past patrons left). Some said, "This roll was sooo good!" or "The tuna melted on my tongue!" or something along those lines. And I carefully picked the rolls and sushi/nigiris many others raved in their reviews. None of them impressed me to even 70% level. Sushi/nigiris and rolls were fairly small for their prices. Whereas the freshness of the fish was decent to the point where none of them tasted old but it wasn't exceptionally tasty or good either. I'm sounding like a snob here but my judgment is pretty fair (trust me, I am the least pickiest person when it comes to food; I have other foodie friends who are more rigid critics than I am.) The restaurant was clean/well-kept with a good number of tables. It's located in a walkable neighborhood. Will I return? Unless someone says he/she wants sushi and it has to be this place, maybe. Other than that, I don't think I would bother going back.

Perfection in Every Way..! Food: Good Portions, Eye Appealing, and Taste that you would not expect in the very middle of the United States far far away from Any Ocean..!!!..especially for seafood...WoW! The Service was SPOT ON Wonderful. Not overbearing. Very Intuitive Waitresses, and Considerate to a tee for our personal space. Sushi was our primary goal, and SUSHI HARBOR filled that goal ohhhh sooo well.. Please view the attached photos There Miso Soup and House Hot Sake was also very welcomed as a Meal Accoutrement...not pictured here... All In All, very well worth it for a relaxing, go-to meal with Eye Pleasing Environment ***Hard to believe that in the best middle of the STATES, you could find a great Sushi Experience, Fresh, Clean, Eye Pleasing, and close to the heart of Denver. You Will Be ... --- One Mile High --- with no regrets.

Wonderful service, great prices, and delicious fresh sushi! I have nothing but good things to say, and I love that they put all your sushi in a boat if you order enough! Sushi Harbor doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that stop you. Definitely give this place a try next time you're in the area!

I was really blown away by the food here! The rolls are so creative and so wonderfully fresh! The toro was melt-in-your-mouth with a little green chile on top, and cut skillfully. I ordered two special rolls, the Sweetheart roll- spicy scallop and mango topped with salmon and lemon wrapped in soy paper and the Fantasy roll- shrimp tempura, eel, avocado, tobiko, cream cheese, wrapped sesame soy paper and eel sauce. This is one of the best sushi spots I've ever been and my new favorite in Denver! Service was great too, and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Very cute spot and great food I highly recommend

Great veggie options and two for one sake at happy hour. Happy hour starts at like 2 or 230 which is amazing and their presentation is very nice. You also get 10% off your order with a check-in on yelp so it's a win-win along with a great happy hour with food and alcohol specials. This little place is a gem hidden in the heart of Cherry Creek! My service was great to start and then my girl just disappeared and the place was very quiet and finally one of the guys from behind the sushi bar had to come and bring me my check and run my card, so I don't know if it was her break but maybe I just got lost in the in-between lunch and before dinner downtime? I still will go back soon, but I definitely was looking around for someone to come help me with my checkout for quite some time. That's a service issue.... but the food was incredible!

I saw, from the reviews, that to come here without a reservation, you want to come right when they open. We saw a wave of people start lining up and congregating as we were parking. Luckily, we made it in the first wave of people seated. We were offered the choice to sit inside/outside. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The drinks and food came out quickly. We ordered the sake and the sake mule. Both were good! We also got 2 pieces of nigiri from Japan and it was heavenly! Other items that piqued our interest were the tuna firecracker roll, a salmon roll, and another tuna roll. Everything tasted delicious, although I was surprised by the asparagus in my rolls. I don't know that that is my favorite! We had a great experience and would love to come back.

I was in Denver to visit my friend, and I was telling her how I really liked hand rolls and so she recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We got here during happy hour when at first opened and immediately there was already a line luckily we were early so we did get seated a few minutes after arriving, and we were served relatively quickly. We got to sit at the bar and we ordered off of the happy hour menu, which was great because it had more than enough of what I wanted to try. We got several hand rolls and several of their other appetizers, but my favorite has to be their hand rolls. Their seaweed was so crispy and rolled so nicely. The rice was flavorful and their fish was so fresh. I felt like their prices were also pretty reasonable and I was more than content after having that dinner. Overall, I would put this very much on par with a place called Kazunori in LA. I heard that this restaurant has a sister restaurant called sushi Den that I heard was really good and that I will be trying out next time I'm in town. Please come try out Tamaki done if you're ever in the area the food will not disappoint. The restaurant is big with plenty indoor seating, but it will get packed and for good reasons because the food is so good!

We thought we made a mistake choosing sushi bar instead of a table because we'll have back issues. Surprisingly, the chairs had a mini back so you could lean back occasionally. And we think our experience was better because the sushi chefs would explain the origin of the fish and all the ingredients they used into each roll and order. We also got a complimentary piece for sitting at the sushi bar which was a light fried yellow tail which was so good. Service is amazing. They're attentive and check in on you often. It does take some time to get your rolls but give its time to digest. From watching the sushi chefs at the bar, they're very precise in how they make each roll. Every roll has similar proportions from the slight wasabi they use to the amount of rice and fish. Everything that we had was amazing. The hamachi and salmon sashimi felt like butter. It just melts in your mouth. The aged toro was so delicious. Even the edamame was just so good. The unagi nigiri is some of the best I've had in the state (the nigri was better than the handroll and I think it's because I love unagi so I love the ratio in nigiri form). The Spicy Tuna Oshizushi was a surprising favorite of the night along with the Crème Fresh Salmon Belly. I could've done without the wagyu but it was good. Every order does come with only 1 so order based on the amount of people that are with your party. Some items we were unsure of like the wagyu so we ordered 1 and shared a bite. Overall, I understand the hype and the reservations. But it was worth it and I'm surprised we can get high quality fish in a landlock state. Of the high end sushi restaurants in CO, Temaki Den is probably my fave.
