Bang For Your Buck!! Sushi can get pricey, and you often don't get an opportunity to enjoy different kinds. Thats what makes Sushi Katsu such a great choice. All You Can Eat sushi is the way to go, and the quality is good too. Stellar service as well. A+ in my book!

We came in for all you can eat lunch and there's tons to choose from! Service was great. We came in 30 min before they were done with the lunch special and let us know we needed to be done eating by then. So we did feel a little rushed but that was our own faults. The folks there did come by often to make sure we were don't ordering which was nice. Inside was nice and clean, nothing to complain about. The sushi was pretty good, especially for the price! Everything was pretty tasty but you also won't get the same quality as a non all you can eat. Overall, I was very happy with what we got for how much we paid.

Went for lunch with a coworker. She suggested this place and we decided on the all you can eat. The price was reasonable. We ordered salad and miso soup and selected our nigiri and sushi rolls. The nigiri and rolls came right away. We ordered a second round and asked for our salad and miso soup which hadn't been served. They brought the items for us. The place was busy and the shared parking lot is small. The sushi was good. Not great but solid. The unagi could have better sauce and the fish slices for the nigiri were not amazing. Still, I enjoyed the lunch and the service was attentive even though they were busy. I think for a landlocked state this place is good for sushi. The place is clean and well run. I would recommend. And we will be back.

Their AYCE was a great deal. I wish there were better items on the menu. The fish was great! Would not get the salmon skin again.

Great All You Can Eat Sushi spot in Aurora. It gets pretty busy. The service is fast and efficient. Ordering is easy and organized! Great for groups and date nights! Parking lot is a bit tiny!

Food was great as always. Their customer service was amazing and the place was clean. That's all you need to know and this place still rocks!!!

Sushi Katsu in Aurora is one of the better all you can eat sushi places. While I'm not a connoisseur by any means when it comes to sushi, the rolls and fish served here are always fresh tasting despite being in a landlocked state. Service is fast paced and our food came out within a couple of minutes of ordering. I tried the spicy tuna rolls for the first time and they were excellent-not fishy at all. My general standby for sushi is California rolls and vegetable tempura-both were great here. Highly recommend the dinner all you can eat menu for $31. It is worth the expense as we left super full from the yummy food. Very clean place with fun, traditional Japanese decor. This is my favorite of the metro locations of Sushi Katsu.

DOWNHILL SLOPING!! I'm not sure what is going on here, but the quality and cleanliness of this restaurant is dropping! I'm always seeing new and different servers as well as different chefs. It's like 50% of what it used to be like and it breaks my heart to see. Most of our cuts of nigiri were quite small and the rice always fell apart when picked up with chopsticks or fingers. Many pieces of sushi was sloppily prepared too, but it was crazy busy and with new chefs working, this can be understandable. I will say that the food tasted mostly as good as previously reported in my other reviews. They ran out of miso soup but when a fresh batch was made, we were brought fresh, steaming hot bowls that were wonderful but served with disposable plastic spoons. The servers were almost frantic busy as if they weren't sure of what to do, but they got our orders correct. In my opinion, it wasn't a well-run establishment this evening. Our wait time for 3 people was about an hour and many large groups of people were there probably due to the holiday season.

Sushi Katsu has a great AYCE deal - $24.99 for lunch and $30.95 for dinner. All you can eat is no joke. They will keep the food coming although they have put a 2 hour seating limit per table. Lots of options in appetizers, nigiri, and rolls. Rolls have plenty of ingredients and are generous portions. One of my favs is the Volcano Roll with crabmeat and cucumber topped with white fish, spicy mayo, masago, scallions and sweet sauce. They have other locations but I think the Havana one is the best.

This place was an all you can eat sushi restaurant. It was a little more pricy than I expected but that was alright. After tip and tax it was around $40 a person. The sushi was decent quality and the service was good but not great. They delivered the food so quick though! Side note: If you're going to eat here, and you're not hungry, this isn't the place for you.

Ask the Community - Sushi Katsu

Do they offer dinner menu price for lunch?

Nope. Their AYCE menu is limited for lunch thus it's cheaper. You can always order a la carte right off the menu as well.

Are the menu items for all you can eat sushi during lunch and dinner the same?

No, the dinner menu has a lot more specialty rolls and other small sides.

If they close at 10:30 why do they do last calls way before 10:30? Every time I go here it's been such a pain to eat here. The sushi is good, but it's always such a headache coming to this restaurant.

They also do last call around 1:30 for the 2:30 close at lunch. It gives them time to get the restaurant cleaned and shut down in a timely manner. Closed isn't necessarily serve the remaining guest. In Japanese culture time is literal.

I saw a review that said 12.99 4 rolls and 4 apps? Where do I find this and is it a limited menu?

As of end of May they have changed their AYCE to go menu pricing. If you check their FB page they are always updating it! DTC & Lakewood have opened for dine in as of 6/15/20

After browsing on some well-known delivery app, I simply couldn't think of anything else but Japanese food from one of the trusted restaurants namely Mika Sushi 5!!! They were doing BOGO deals on selected items where I found Spicy Salmon rolls which I could order in the form of hand roll. I, of course, wanted more than that so I got me the Avocado Salad and a few different nigiris (one piece each; Yellowtail and Black Pepper Tuna to name them). Since it was through a delivery service I can't speak about the service and or cleanliness of the restaurant but I can say that the order was accurate where I got everything I ordered. Mika Sushi doesn't disappoint, I mean ever. The two one-piece nigiris were a quality kind; I especially liked the Yellowtail. The BOGO Spicy Salmon hand rolls were well-portioned in size (and were delicious). As for the salad, the avocado slices on the lettuce were plenty and nicely ripe and soft. The ginger carrot dressing (staple for a house salad at any Japanese sushi restaurant) was such a nice accompaniment to it. Plenty of condiments included in the brown bag shall not be forgotten to be mentioned. It made my late lunch/early dinner so delightful.

From the second I walked in, service was impeccable, welcoming, and helpful. Staff went above and beyond to walk me to the restroom (as it was my first time dining here), out to my patio table, and quickly brought water. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion, chandeliers were lining the interior with a gorgeous and sophisticated look, and the music was a fun K-Pop/dance vibe. Our table of three started with the Buddha Button (essentially a lemon drop martini with Deep Eddy's and a special flower that invigorates your taste buds to create a literal "party in your mouth"). Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty. We tried the crab rangoons and thought they were a fun snack, although $21 for four rangoons was tough. I could've gone to Panda Express and gotten four for $3.99 and called it a day. Christine and I both had the Miso Sea Bass - easily the crowd favorite. Even though it was light, it was very flavorful with the sauce, mushrooms, and rice included in the meal. It was mostly filling, though charging $64 for that as the main entree is quite a big stretch. The crowd winner was our server, Maddie. She had amazing recommendations, a full understanding of the menu, and was very attentive and personable. Overall, fun experience! The price for the quantity of food makes it a dubious chance of returning, but A+ for the staff!

The terrace in front of the restaurant was cordoned off with iron fence for renovations. Honestly, never saw anyone sitting there since the place opened, wonder whether they're repurposing it. Perhaps to deter dine and dash customers or to lighten the servers' workload, customers needed to pay first at Hiro. After the meal, servers would bring the receipt back for guests to add tips. This was actually quite convenient, eliminating the need to wait for a server to settle the bills. Compared to last visit, the plush toy shop at the entrance had expanded, offering more plush toys and even adding a claw machine. Whether it's psychological or simply because it's been awhile since last visit, the buffet stations seemed brighter, cleaner, and more organized than before. Even the floors and walls appeared slightly different. Most dishes remained similar to before, offering a wide selection primarily of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. However, several new items have been added, such as fried frog legs, BBQ ribs, peanut candy, and ice cream bars. The Mongolian BBQ station was located on the corner away from the buffet stations and most dining areas, so these areas were mostly free of the BBQ smoke and smell. Notably, the sashimi on the nigiri sushi here was exceptionally large, appearing fresh and having a satisfying texture. The selection of sushi rolls was extensive, with most being the specialty varieties. The buffet stations were replenished promptly and items were freshly prepared and hot. Staff constantly monitored the buffet stations, using earpiece to notify the kitchen for replenishment, very efficient indeed. Prices were $21.99 for dinner Monday through Thursday, $22.99 for Friday night and all day on weekends, and $14.99 for lunch Monday through Friday. Considering the variety and quality of the food, it's a great value and very affordable.

When it arrived my friend commented that she couldn't even see the noodles under the tofu. However, another table ordered drunken noodles as well and it seemed that that customer's entree took up at least most of his plate, so it seems that portion sizes may be inconsistent here. I ended up still being hungry afterwards, so I ordered a tom yum soup, which both I and my friend thought was 13.99 based on how the menu is laid out (pictured of menu attached)... we were surprised when at the end it was 17.99. When I brought up my concerns, the owner (?) pointed to the price at the bottom of the page under the ramen. I said, oh but I tried to order the chasu pork option from the bottom pricing list, and she said "no that option is just for ramen." My other friend at the table noted some inconsistencies with menu pricing from the online menu accessed through the QR code, and the physical menu. I'm a bit appalled it was $45 just for my dinner. (Gratuity was automatically added to the check.) I've never had to order two entrees at a restaurant before just because there wasn't enough food. The ramen dishes and even the pad thai were decently sized, so I have to assume I just got unlucky with my choice.
