Came here post-workout after TWST Fitness and honestly... best decision. This spot is tucked inside a food hall market and the vibes are on point--cool decor, fun energy, and although seating is limited, we had no trouble grabbing a table. I kept it light and fresh with the house salad, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños, salmon sashimi, and ebi nigiri. Everything came out super fast and tasted incredibly fresh. The yellowtail had the perfect kick, but the ebi nigiri was the real star for me--so good. Such a cute little spot for a casual date or a food hall crawl. We also grabbed mochi to go and it was the perfect sweet ending. Already planning my next visit because I definitely want to try more of the menu.
Came with a friends for dinner on a Sunday evening. It was busier than expected with most tables filled. The restaurant is open with a market like feel and a constant hustle and bustle. You order off the menu with an erasable pen which is very smart. Many Japanese restaurants (especially when ordering sashimi, nigiri, rolls) use a ton of paper for their orders. We did have a waitress but the staff helps one another running drinks and food. The food was very good, fresh and I'd definitely go back. My suggestions would be bringing the dishes out over time. We received almost everything at once and the table was very full. The bathrooms are part of Stanley and are fine. They are usually clean. The parking is shared with all the Stanley Marketplace so it depends on time/day as to how easy or hard it is to find a space.
Second time eating here and it was so good. The menus is large with a good selection. We started with the crab Rangoon's and hot tea. The tea was delicious and we took the extra in the pot to go. We ordered 3 different rolls and each one was delicious/ The staff were friendly and helped in ordering. Our items came out fast and we enjoyed our lunch very much. It's a fun place to eat in the Stanley Market as you can shop after you eat .
After shopping for Pokemon cards, we were hungry and decided to try Misaki for lunch. They have a lot of options on their menu. Like the other places at Stanley, the prices are on par with other restaurants i think so somewhere between overpriced and okay. I think if you're hungry and craving sushi, Misaki is a good option. They have their own tables in the back and food comes out relatively quick. Overall, the rolls were fine and decent. My favorite was the spicy tuna roll. It had a nice kick to it. The muscles were okay. I would skip the katsu. At $15, it doesn't come with rice. It was dry, bland, and the proportions were small. If you want sushi, this is a decent choice. Not my favorite but I wouldn't mind getting it again.
Really great tasting sushi at an expected cost per person around $20-30 dollars. We had a good amount of sushi and Agedashi tofu as well. It came with miso soup which was decent. This establishment is located in the very trendy Stanley Marketplace and is one of the first restaurants you will see on the first floor as you walk in. Service was great as well.
Updating my review since they moved to a larger restaurant area and expanded their menu. I LOVE this place! As a half-Japanese from Hawaii, I find it can be hard to find authentic tasting Japanese food in Denver (aside from just sushi). I am in love with their miso butter fish (black cod), which is perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Their uni is also delicious and a great value. The service is efficient and friendly, and the space beautifully decorated. My children love watching the fish and hermit crabs in the small aquarium while we wait for the food! We look forward to adding Misaki to our regular restaurant rotation! It's like a little slice of my home culture.
Food: Miso soup came with the combo set taste delicious with umami taste along with seaweed. Then, agedashi tofu as our appetizer which I like their sauce, but I think the outside shell of the tofu is a bit too thick. Not the best agedashi I ever try, but ok for $8. The main course came quickly and we like it. Sushi tastes very fresh except the shrimp that I can smell the fishy taste. Misaki roll was tasty. Yummy sauce & great taste of tuna. They also serves wide range of Japanese liquor here. Service: Promptly taking care of us. Quick billing with no bs add on fees which I love. The owner even walked by & asked us for feedback. Ambiance: Japanese vibes with cute fish tank & dora fish. Sum up: If I come to Standley market place again, and craving sushi that nostalgia you to the old days in Japan then this is it!
This sushi spot was a hit. Stopped by here for an early dinner on a Tueasay evening, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was so fresh and packed with flavor. Everything from the service, prices, and quality were perfect. It was a casual spot in the Stanley market but the food was impressive and delicious.
This is one of my favorite sushi spots in Aurora! The service is always impeccable and the waiters are so nice and friendly. It has such a cool ambiance and I love the Japanese decorations and music. The food is flavorful and the portion sizes you get for the price is great. I love that they are located in the Stanley marketplace so I can do some shopping or grab a drink afterwards. Highly recommend this place to fellow sushi lovers!
Was here at lunch time on a Thursday, service was attentive and accurate. Food was fresh and delicious and came out quick. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. Lots of 2-4 person tables, along with bar seating and high chairs. The menu was large and had plenty of options. Prices are moderate.
A cute hidden gem inside Stanley Marketplace! We typically usually always go to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, but Misaki is definitely more quality over quantity! The portion size of fish was nice in comparison to rice (not a crazy amount or more rice than fish). Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Especially the Uni which is surprising because most places don't serve it or they are very bad quality. Our favorites were the vegetable tempura and nigiri. Least favs was the chicken karaage as some pieces were undercooked and chewy. The spider roll (soft crab) was a unique try but we couldn't get on board with the sweet taste and the basil that was inside. Overall, we will be back as it's one of the nicer sushi restaurant in Central Park without having to go downtown or to Aurora!
Misaki looks like a place that is very well known . Love the location , in the heart of everything . The organized chaos in the design is so awesome . I did see buttons at majority of the tables , in which takes me back to the days I visited Japan. Because the waiters or waitresses would not come up to the take unless you hit the button out of sign of respecting your space. Nonetheless they were super nice and attentive, I will say they seemed a bit short handed but it was ok. The sushi was really good ... loved the edemame and the veggie rolls ... We got the rainbow roll , lobsters , and 2 others Love it here , will come back
The food was amazing. So much different varieties of sushi. The service was great as well took a little while like 15-20 mins but I was nice the ambiance felt like I was in Japan. Beautiful

Nice spot in Stanley Marketplace! Reasonable prices and a great place to get a bite with friends. We had the shishito peppers which are always delicious we also had the mussels, cod, and 4 rolls to share. This was plenty for 4 people. Service is friendly and fast! It is a bit load at times but you can hear music and the commotion of Stanley marketplace. read more

This restaurant is located inside of Stanley Marketplace towards the back on the first floor. Everything I've had here in the multiple times I've gone is delicious. This time I ordered 2 salmon avocado rolls, shishito peppers, and the okonomiyaki umami pancake for my partner and I to share. The salmon avocado rolls are so simple yet so delicious. And the shishito peppers had such a tasty sauce. It was fun to take a bite and see which ones were mild and which were hot haha. Lastly, the pancake was definitely very umami and the flavors of the toppings all went together very well! Service was quick too and everyone was very kind and attentive. One of our favorite restaurants at Stanley. read more

We really loved visiting here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming to kids. Everyone who brought out food or refilled water were all very nice and kind. My daughter LOVED the kids sesame chicken, she ate everything but two chicken pieces. The miso soup came out hot and was extremely tasty. The tofu and seaweed were fresh! I loved the fatty tuna and yellow tail; the fish was extremely fresh. I enjoyed all the rolls. I was looking for one with citrus, but didn't see one on the menu and went with mango instead. We will definitely be back! read more
The sushi is mid, but I love the ambiance and am stoked for them that they've upgraded to a larger space in Stanley Marketplace. They have more tables now, which is great. Prices are pretty standard for Denver sushi. The $5 house salad feels like a good deal, due to the nice portion size. My Misaki Roll was okay. The fish didn't taste super fresh, but we are in a landlocked state. I am intrigued by some of the more creative rolls, but at $15/16 each, I can only give in to my curiosity so much. Service is pretty bad. You order by QR code, but need to get drinks with a server. I had to ask ours if we could order sodas, and I also had to ask for more chopsticks and a water refill. Overall just inattentive. If I'm in Stanley and feeling sushi, I'll grab a roll from here. I'd never go out of my way to go to this restaurant, though. read more
I've been to Stanley Marketplace a bunch of times and never thought to eat here. I brought a friend from out of town here since we'd have choices. We peered at the menu and within seconds - a wonderful Japanese man came up to greet us and we decided to get seated here. It's a cute vibe and I like that it's its own restaurant within this food hall with table service. we started with the spicy edamame and we each got a miso soup. The spicy edamame was very spicy - we didn't eat too much since I don't like to not taste the rest of my food. We ordered 2 rolls to share. We got the roll that has eel in it and a roll that has mango on it. We didn't know what to expect for the mango roll but it ended up being amazing! It was super light & refreshing. Our eel roll was also delicious. Really enjoyed this place. Our only downfall was they ended up getting busy and we had to flag them down for our check and for a to-go box so we waited there longer than we would've liked. read more

Had yet to try the closest sushi place to our house at Stanley Marketplace! Misaki and the market was crazy busy at 5pm on a Friday. Ordered appetizers, nigiri, a couple rolls and fried chicken for pickup. Order was delayed about 10 minutes but not bad for how busy it was. The nigiri was extremely fresh and we were impressed by the uni as most Denver places don't even have it. The vegetable tempura was great as well. The spicy tuna and spider rolls were well made but not our favorites and we will probably try something else next time. The fried chicken was similar to popcorn chicken and definitely good for kids if they don't want fish. Overall Misaki is a fun spot nestled in Stanley Marketplace with high quality food. read more

Great value, food was excellent and fresh. Sake was just the right temperature and the price was great. It was a little busy and service was stretched, but staff was hustling and keeping up. Highly recommend this casual sushi restaurant! read more

We drive from Colorado Springs just to have Misaki's negitoro roll, agedashi tofu and chirashi bowl. I tried these at many sushi restaurants but Misaki's is the best. Service is always prompt and friendly and it is nice to sit among the wild Japanese decor. read more
What's up with places named misaki being generally solid? There another Japanese spot in my home state that is also good. The price is right, vibes are sweet, and the quality feels better than what you're paying for. The only reason it's not a 5 is because I had a place that blew my socks off over summer. Misaki would either need to be cheaper (not in this economy) or have some of those dishes and deliver at an equal caliber - like the crispy rice which is probably not authentic but dam is it a palate blaster read more

The food at Misaki is consistently good. I have had my fair share of Japanese restaurants and this place is definitely one of my favorites so far! The way that they make their rolls taste very fresh and flavorful. We got the side salad, miso soup, a couple of rolls, and the udon. I would recommend getting the salad! The ginger dressing is so good and a great palate cleanser for the meal. The miso soup is also a great if you are getting a lot of different rolls. The service here is always so friendly! There is usually a line if you go on the weekends, but we we were able to beat the lunch rush and get seated right away. Even tho the seating isn't really separated from the hallways of the market, I think that it creates a pretty good ambiance. Totally recommend this place if you are at Stanley Marketplace!! read more

Misaki does vegetarian "sushi" and appetizers right! I've ordered my share of Sweet Potato and Avocado rolls over the years. I must say, these were among the best I've had. The vegetarian Gyoza was also great, with crispy outer edges. My husband ordered two Spicy Tuna rolls, but for some reason they gave him 1 spicy tuna and 1 salmon roll. He kept it since the place was so busy and didn't want to wait to get the order right. When we arrived there was about a 5-10 minute wait, but the manager took our order while we waited so that our food would be ready shortly after we were seated! It's a small place with limited seating, but they will gladly pack your items too go and you can find yourself another cozy spot to sit within Stanley Marketplace. Prices are very reasonable and considering the quality of the food, this is a plus. The staff is personable and attentive. I almost left without my purse, which was hanging on the back of my chair. The waiter called out to me and I turned back to grab it. Attentive customer service! read more

Best sushi we've had and we eat sushi often. Great atmosphere and the people here are awesome. Our daughter had her 16th birthday and they brought out a very yummy dessert with candles. Very personable!! read more
Situated inside the Stapleton Marketplace where there are multitudes of restaurants and shops, this corner place serves up some righteous good eats! The service was a little slow, and it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday lunch timeframe. I'm not a big fan of sitting out in the open and would prefer to have a wall between me and the hallways. Oh well. Our salads were incredibly fresh and tasty and the sushi and rolls were generously packed with delicious fish portions. I must say that I was impressed. It's a tiny hole in the wall place making some delicious Japanese dishes. Not much else to say. read more
The dinner tonight at Misaki exceeded my expectations so I must write. After the Dali exhibit, my friend and I wanted an early dinner but something with quality. I recommended Misaki and we both agreed on it. 'Twas an easy and quick decision. It was barely 5pm so there were a good amount of open tables; The guy said to just grab whatever one we'd want. The sushi menu has average size selection. I don't like overwhelming huge menu anyway. And if you flip it, there are appetizers and dinner items on the other side. So easy to read. We picked what we'd like pretty fast; we were ready to eat!! I'm not into extravagant rolls with so many different ingredients so I got simple nigiri (4 different types of fish) and one small (Negihama) roll. I was very impressed with Kaibashira. Scallops were diced into smaller pieces and they are marinated in mayo based marinade. Amazing! I didn't care for the Yuzu sparkling sake (I wanted to try something different so I, at least gave it a try) but since I was so pleased with the quality of the sushi, I really didn't care about the sake being not my cup of tea (next time I'll get Sapporo or something!!) Our waiter was very attentive. Service was pretty fast. read more
