Went here for a late bite after opera at the DCPA. This is a newer sushi joint near my home in Mayfair. While it was 9:30pm on a weeknight there were a decent number of people still eating. Without asking our server Tom brought my girlfriend and I salads, which is a nice way to start any meal. The dressing was a peanut ginger and not too sweet or heavy. It was a traditional mix of lettuce and carrots. I had the large miso soup ($4) and it was huge. The soup base wasn't my favorite but was full of seaweed, tofu and scallions. I took a lot home just because I couldn't come close to finishing it. My girlfriend had the tuna avocado roll and boston roll with avocado added. When the boston roll came out the first time the avocado wasn't added. However, Tom noticed this immediately, apologized and had the roll remade with extra avocado. I love this place! I'm from the east coast and I moved here over 2 years ago. I have been trying to find decent sushi and I'm so happy I found this spot! The sushi is great and reasonably priced. Such a cute sushi restaurant in Denver! It was rather quiet for a Thursday evening but the food did not disappointment! Service was however a little slow. We had a ton of rolls and they were all very delicious. The fish was fresh and the quality of the rolls was amazing. I was truly impressed. There were plenty of options for seating. You could sit at the sushi bar, at a table, or a large booth that is by the window. Their plate presentation of the sushi rolls was cute. I really enjoyed myself here. This is a good little spot. The lunch priced Bento Box is a winner at under $10, and dinner is reasonable. It is clean, and everything has always seemed fresh and well prepared. I really enjoyed my experience here at Sushi Harbor and I'll tell you why. In this tucked away sushi spot off Colorado the service is almost over accommodating and helpful with the extensive menu. With a very adventurous dining companion, I even ventured into the unfamiliar part of the menu and was pleasantly surprised with all the various options they offer besides your regular spicy tuna rolls. Our server's enthusiasm to help me explore the menu made my lunch so much more exciting and now I can confidently say I have had tuna cheek and will continue to order it at this delicious restaurant. But for the more standard sushi fare, like spicy tuna and yellowtail sashimi - this place is the jam, too! The private parking at Sushi Harbor was possible and convenient, considering how packed the neighborhood area is. The inside of Sushi Harbor is very chill, sparkly, casual and group friendly. We were instantly greeted by a nice gentleman and sat down in a nice and spacey booth by the window. We ordered fried vegetable gyouza, shrimp tempura, which included cucumber, broccoli, and sweet potatoe. The main dish is superb which is recommended of getting the dragon roll, spider roll, mango, Philadelphia, and even eel. The dessert is the best part of it all when you get the Tiramisu cake and the mochi ice cream of green tea and mango mochi. It was awesome. Definitely enjoyed the dinner and the service provided. I frequently order for delivery and I love it!! It's so convenient and they have good food. I'm a college student so when there is no time to go out and buy/get food, delivery is a go to. I love how its free delivery, but you have to purchase over $20 which I don't mind because I usually order over $20 anyways. We were driving by and saw that a new sushi place just opened up on E 8th ave, right near Colorado. Stopped in for an early dinner. Had a mix if sushi nigiri, sashimi and rolls. The atmosphere is very nice and there was a mix of couples and a couple young families. The squid and other sushi/sashimi was super fresh. The spider roll was the right mix of soft shell crab and avocado, and the chili roll had a nice kick. To top it off, the prices were very good. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. My girlfriend just moved to Hilltop right behind the Trader Joe's and we saw the sign for Sushi Harbor every day while coming and going. Finally decided to try it out and I'm glad we did. We went on a Thursday night and the ambiance was great. Conversations could be held in normal volume and there was an awesome minimal tech house soundtrack playing the whole time we were there. There was also the happy hour 2 for 1 beers which was a great value. 2 tall Asahi's for 7 bucks?! We got a variety of rolls and they were all delicious. The only one that was too much was the Fire Cracker roll, it was ridiculous and stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried haha. The Sweetheart roll was the best of the bunch, with mango inside and a thin slice of lemon on top. Sweet and slightly citrus-y. Highly recommended. I would go here for a good mid range price tier of sushi and if you don't want to empty your wallet at say, Sushi Den. read more

My first delivery was accepted and then cancelled via Postmates (because the restaurant was too busy? which is odd), so I ordered through Yelp's app. The food took an hour to arrive, which was expected. I ordered the combo with 10 pieces of sushi and a tuna roll, which also came with a salad. The pieces of sushi were good, along with the tuna roll. The salad was mediocre. I also ordered miso soup. A few bites in, and there was a long piece of black hair in my soup. I have blonde hair, so it definitely was not mine. Mind you, soup is one of the worst types of food you can find a hair in, as I was nervous I "slurped" some down before finding the hair. We were leaving the Denver Bronco game and decided we wanted AYCE Sushi. We searched on yelp like usual and found Sushi Harbor not too far away. I checked a few reviews and they stated that they don't order AYCE because they can only consume a little sushi so we figured it was offered. We went to the location and the lady that sat us asked if we were doing all you can eat. My boyfriend replied yes. When we sat down, I asked for a regular menu because I don't eat sushi and told her I won't be doing the AYCE. They gave my boyfriend a printed order form to fill out and he gave it to the sushi chef. The food came out and looked amazing! We share pictures of it with our friends. Imagine our surprise when the bill came and it was $119. My boyfriend and I were both asked if we were getting AYCE but when we spoke to the manager his response was, "We stopped doing that 2 months ago." Now, we're from Las Vegas, and this is our FIRST time here. We told them that we saw Yelp reviews that stated they had AYCE and they asked for us to show them to them. Which we did. Then he went with the "We stopped doing that 2 months ago." My boyfriend refused to pay $119 when the waitress asked us if we were doing AYCE and their Yelp reviews said they do it. Finally a lady manager (maybe an owner) came over and the male manager said, "Just do it." and we paid AYCE price for his meal, and the standard price for mine. We still tipped them well because the food was great but it was very mis-leading. **After posting my review, I was sent rude emails from Denver B. telling me that this restaurant didn't offer me AYCE. I probably go there at least once every two weeks when I'm in Denver just because it's one of the best places in the area!!
