We found this place on TikTok. I have to say the presentation of this place in person is very impressive. I love the atmosphere and the staff were helpful. The Togo containers and the bag made a statement. I ordered the shirt ribs, black pepper filet, and tropical fried rice. Everything was flavorful and still hot when I got back home. We went in with some family after a hike and this place did not disappoint! Olivia was our server and she was fantastic! Attentive, easy to talk to, and had great suggestions. We tried about 10 different things and it was great. Richard was also fantastic! He served us our food and made sure we were happy with everything! The people and the food were fantastic. What a gem of a restaurant! The food, the ambiance, the service... it was all fantastic! My son is super into Anime, so when we walked in and saw a life size statue of the Monkey King, he was thrilled! The restaurant is tastefully decorated with attention to detail; it is aesthetically very pleasing and feels elevated. We had the wonton soup to start. The broth tasted so fresh and they clearly used fresh ginger in the wontons. It tasted homemade. We had the shrimp lo mein, which was wonderful, and the eggplant and baby bok choy for sides. Everything was outstanding! The vegetables were so fresh and perfectly cooked. I did not have a cocktail but saw the people next to our table enjoying some that looked amazing- I'll be having one next time I come in. The service was super friendly and attentive. Also, I have never in all my life seen such nice takeout containers and they even gave us an insulated bag that is so pretty and reusable. My son told me about 10 times that he loves this place and wants to come, and I agree! Also, there is a private dining room you can have for groups, no minimum charge. We were in town visiting for a few days and found this place on yelp while driving aimlessly trying to figure out what to have for dinner. We are so happy we did because it was one of the best meals we've ever had and by far the best meal of the trip, so much so we had it two nights in a row! The inside is very cute with both table and booth options. All of the staff that helped were so kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I still dream about the garlic string beans. We have a few friends who visit the area frequently for work and we sent them the link for this place while we were still there eating letting them know they need to come try on the next Visit. When I say run to this restaurant I mean it! Probably some of the most delicious Chinese we've ever had! Our appetizers were chili wontons, walnuts shrimp and lettuce wraps. All 3 were amazing! My main entree was the chicken peanut curry. The best I've eaten. The sauce was light and perfect. My mom had stir fry udon. It was delivered in a hot bowl. My dad had sesame chicken which he loved. potential. this place has really good potential but did miss on some parts. let's start with the bad. we made reservations via OpenTable at 6pm for a post Valentines Day dinner (great place to take a date btw, don't get me wrong). we arrived a few minutes early, but had to wait about 10-15mins before we sat at our table. there were empty and prepared tables, but still had to wait for them to "prepare more tables"? not sure what's the point of making a reservation days/weeks prior to have a walk in take a table without a reservation - defeats the point of reserving if it's first come, first served. main dishes can be better. flavor just wasn't there for some of them. the crab fried rice was somewhat spicy for some reason? I was fine with it, but at least indicate that the dish would be spicy for others. lo mein was good, but you can definitely get the same and/or better at a fast food Chinese restaurant. nothing memorable tbh, it was just food that filled your stomach. now for the good. ambiance was great. it's a good place for dates and gatherings, but be wary that the area is smaller than other restaurants and can get quite loud if you have larger groups. there's an open bar with decent alcohol selections. the one thing you should definitely get are the tapas. those are all the shareables/appetizers that give you a great variety. honey spare ribs are amazing, and i enjoyed the chicken lettuce wrap. flavor was *chef's kiss * honestly, I would mainly go there and just eat a bunch of tapas. overall, good place to dine and the atmosphere is great. definitely a lot of potential. theres just some areas that need better quality for the overall value. read more

I have been going to Maya Moon since they opened and have loved it. The hot and sour soup is made fresh daily, and the food has always had a complex gourmet flavor. Today I went for lunch and the food was not the same. The hot and sour soup lacked that fresh complex flavor, but instead was way too salty. They tried to cover it up with chili pepper. The sesame chicken was disgusting. They must've changed the management and the chef in the last month or so? It's sad. read more

Service will get better, they are friendly and welcoming. One to the food. The menu (experimental, it will change), has many tapas options as well as entrees. First off, the Mapo Tofu was "on point", the gentle spice of the pepper had a perfect tingle on the tongue. The bok choy had the perfect flavor of garlic and that crisp. Pork belly buns, pot stickers and lama fries were pretty good. 3 cup chicken entree had good flavors. Shechuan chicken was the dry kind and well prepared. Let me start by saying this. The service at this location is next to none. Our waiter was so great and I really enjoyed that they had the projector screen up with how they make food on the streets in China. The bathrooms reminded me of a country club without an attendant. The tooth floss was a fantastic addition and I wish more places would follow suit. The Szechuan sauce was the main reason I am convinced that the Chef at this establishment just didn't have the right ingredients. Let That said, I felt as though it was over priced for the quality of food we had enjoyed. There was not much authenticity to the entrees and I was a little surprised about the lack of flavor for the price. The "to go bowls"are not your run of the mill crapperware either, I enjoyed those. I'm looking forward to going back at some point in hopes that if I try something different on the menu I will end up with a better experience regarding the entree's. First off -- the drinks. The cocktails made by Ashley were truly out of this world. Hands down some of the best drinks I've had in a very long time. Every cocktail was balanced, creative, and clearly made by someone who really knows what they're doing. Our server Sunny was also amazing. Super personable, genuinely helpful, and had us laughing all night , he was cracking us up and made the whole experience even better. The food was just as impressive. I had the crab fried rice with curry, and it was absolutely fantastic and perfectly cooked. On top of all that, the ambiance really stood out. The space felt very clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed. It's hard to describe, but everything felt precise -- the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe all felt intentional and well put together. I've gone here now on several occasions, but last nights dinner was just not the same, one of the items we ordered was the "Wagyu stir fried rice," it pretty much was the tiniest pieces of meat that could be in there and the texture seemed more like it wash mushrooms and not beef. Too much to pay for a side looking dish of fried rice with barely any meat. Literally looked like tiny bits of meat in there. Highly disappointed for the price. The vegetables lo Mein was much smaller portion than we used to get also. The orange chicken was not crispy and seemed to have sat in the kitchen for sometime. It was room temperature at best. Just not the same as times before. The beef short ribs were good as usual, but seemed to be less meat also. Seems portion and quality is starting to change here. read more

What a gem! I'm so excited that Lone Tree is getting some incredible restaurants. Miya Moon far exceeded my expectations. I've eaten their food a few times (always takeout orders, so can't speak to internal service.) Here's everything we've eaten: Pork Potstickers- SO good. Bouncy, fresh pork. The dumplings (I think handmade wrappers??) had a great chew. Brussels Sprouts- I honestly may just order these every day. I'm. Obsessed. Perfect blend of crispy leaves and softness, and beautifully dressed/seasoned. Honey Spare Ribs - Delicious! I probably won't order again just because of the sticky finger factor, which is a me issue not a Miya issue! They were super tasty. Drunken Noodles - Husband's order. He loved them. This is as much info as I could get out of him lol. Normally he splits dinners in half and has leftovers for lunch, but he ate the entire thing in one sitting because they were so good and didn't offer me a single bite Wagyu Fried Rice - I also ate the entire thing in one sitting because it was so good! Perfectly seasoned (literally do not add anything to this! I absentmindedly added a tiny bit of soy sauce to mine and it pushed it into too-salty territory.) I love when chefs send out perfect food! Sesame Chicken - Probably the best sesame chicken I've ever eaten. Layers of flavor instead of the typical sweet on sweet. Huge chunks of perfectly cooked chicken (no weird chewy bits!) in a sauce that I am still thinking about. It was the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and umami. Stir Fry Udon - A bowl of comfort with generous portions of steak and shrimp. Peppery, but--again--balanced beautifully. Whoever developed their menu needs a huge pat on the back. It's some of the best food I've had in awhile (from any city!) and I'm thrilled that it's in my neighborhood. Their takeout service is also pretty luxe. Their to go containers are nicer than the ones at my own home and they package everything up in a really pretty insulated bag to keep things warm. Also, their chopsticks are really nice, too. They have a heavier weight to them than the normal to-go chopsticks and had zero splintering. I can tell there's been a lot of thought and care put into every aspect of this restaurant. All with excellent taste, flavors and presentation. They dug in too fast to get all the pictures. I had the Mongolian beef and it was scrumptious. The flavors were excellent without being overpowering and the beef was so tender. The udon noodles were served in a clay pot with shrimp and beef. Another great combination. We had the orange chicken too. It was crispy and sweet with a hint of spices. The show stopper was the crab fried rice with a side of curry. This was an amazing combo with so many flavors that burst on your pallet. I also had the Jasmine tea which was mild but flavorful. All around a new favorite. Me and The Hubs had lunch here a few months ago. Overall, it was a positive experience. We started with the Pork Potstickers and the Shanghai Bok Choy. Both were very good. We also ordered two entrees to share. Frankly, I don't remember what they were but they both had a brown sauce that made them seem too similar which I didn't care for. Both dishes were good on their own, but together it was just too much of the same thing. But that was on us for not reading the menu more closely. Our server was fine, although a bit aloof (or maybe preoccupied). The food came out in a timely manner and was nicely presented. The restaurant decor is modern or maybe a bit futuristic, but not in a bad way. It's not my style of decor, but it's reasonably tasteful. I've added this place to our 'date night' list and look forward to trying more of their menu. read more

Tried this new restaurant tonight. They have only been open three weeks. Newly remodeled and very upscale interior. Promptly seated. The server was Mike and he was very attentive throughout the evening. Started with hot sour soup, which was perfect! Tried the pork dumplings, which were excellent. The main course was Mongolian beef and the beef was so tender and delicious. They have jasmine rice or brown rice and the jasmine was perfect. They have a small wine list with some by the glass and others bottle only. They also have a full bar. I highly recommend this new restaurant! read more

This place makes other Asian fusion spots look sloppy. Not sure if rebrand of old Chinese restaurant but the quality of everything is awesome. Ordering Togo we got not Styrofoam and cardboard box but microwave and dishwasher safe tupperware with reusable branded bag. Not sure if they can afford to do that forever but I'm willing to bring my containers back to be reused. It's been a while since we were able to find another place that has awesome general toes chicken. Closest contender was fireball cafe. And we have found a victor in this place. Had dinner at Miya Moon tonight and had an amazing experience. We had a party of 6 with 2 kids and were seated in a private room which was super helpful since the kids can be slightly rowdy at times. The rooms would be great for parties! The rooms were beautifully decorated. We ordered a good amount of food and every dish was spot on; meticulously prepared; flavors were bright, and textures were superb. We ordered the sautéed string beans, eggplant with garlic sauce, dry sautéed spicy cauliflower, salt and pepper asparagus, Mala steak fries, stir fried udon, mapo tofu and wagyu beef fried rice.
