I ordered the Pad see ew: Wide rice noodles stir fried with egg, broccoli, and carrots in a seasoning brown sauce. I ordered it spicy....next time i will get spicy on the side. Most of the spice/chili's was to one side of the dish. This dish was great, I could eat this everyday. The portion size vs. price was good too. You are getting a great value for your order. We did a pick up order so I can't say much about the service or the restaurant itself. Overall, the food wasn't bad. The food was a little dry and salty but it has good potential. Oddly it is not on the menu, but when I told the server that it had been recommended she did not bat an eye. She just said yes, we have it. It was delicious. We ordered take out from here and I was really excited. We hadn't had Thai food in quite some time. We ordered drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice and tom yum soup. I can't say I would recommend any of these dishes. The fried rice had under cooked rice and was dry. The drunken noodles had way more soy sauce flavor than drunken noodles should. The Tom yum had half an onion in there and ended up being too sweet. All of the dishes had extremely dry meat. Yes, dry meat even in the soup. The dishes truly felt like leftovers that were reheated. Rich, spicy, and sweet, it was delicious. It's like ginger syrup in hot water. I like things slightly less sweet, but the intense ginger flavor made this worth drinking. The green curry was flawless. Flavor in relation to heat level is solid and a big fan of Thai hot for the spice level. The chef is not always consistent and why I didn't give it five stars. My last takeout order, who ever cooks on Friday, definitely knocked it out of the park! The pumpkin curry is good if you want to venture from the usual spice and red curry options. I love red curry and always ask for extra bamboo shoots. Normally my go to is panang curry but they add peas and carrots and that's not traditional Thai for me. If you're more a potatos person, order the Massaman curry. You never realize how little self control you have until you order the sesame ball dessert. Today I ordered the yellow curry with extra chicken, crab puffs, canton noodles, and the e&t shrimp through Grubhub, and picked up the order. My order was completely correct, and the person was really nice during pick up. The reason I am taking away stars is because every single thing was very over cooked. The shrimp were peel-on, and because they were so overdone, it was challenging to peel them. The yellow curry was good, but as the chicken was also so over cooked, it bummed me out. The dish wasn't as flavorful as the yellow curry I have grown used to at other Thai restaurants in Hawaii where I grew up, but this is Colorado and I don't fault them for that. The spice level was a 3, and I thought it was great, and it made me look forward to the Thai 4. The crab puffs were really good, and I loved how much filling there was inside them. The canton noodles were good too, but there was so little pork and alas, also overcooked. I do plan to give this place another chance because it is new, and keep updating here. For today's experience, it was pretty average. Additional things: Parking was really easy, and the restaurant was very cute. Calamari (not sure why my off spring ordered it) was like a dry, crunchy ring of ... not even sure what to call it. The crab puffs were dry in could have been used as bean bag in corn hole. Pad Thai was greasy and frankly lacked protein besides 3 shrimp. The salt and black pepper beef was rough and chewy. (The meat quality was simply not there). The appetizer never came out and we had to ask our server. She seemed a bit inexperienced. There were only three tables occupied in the restaurant including ours. My wife's main course came out first. We asked where the edamame was and we were told it was still being prepared. The edamame came out second. My main course came out about six or seven minutes after the edamame. It seems that this restaurant has some training issues. Don't let the generic name fool you! We found this place on a random Google search passing through South Denver. The restaurant is in a strip mall but once inside you can see right away that they put some effort into creating a pleasant atmosphere. We had our kids with us and they were disappointed there wasn't a kid menu for them. But we were all very happy with the food we ordered! Delicious and generous portions.
