The Yelp reviews were spot on...this restaurant has really good Thai food. When you walk in there's a wall picture of local street food in Thailand. I went there with a Thai friend and she said it was authentic. There was a good amount of people and but only one waitress and she was able to keep up. Her name was Aom and she was efficient. We ordered the chicken pad see ew, papaya salad and chicken panang curry. All of it was delicious! I also ordered a Thai ice coffee and it came in a tall glass so it was a good amount. Finally re-ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was the perfect ending to a very delicious meal. Prices were very reasonable. Ordered through DoorDash and delivery was prompt. I had ordered a couple years ago and was not impressed, but based on the good reviews decided to try again. Chicken Pad Thai - I indicated a spice level of 2 (out of 9) and it was so spicy it was barely edible. The chicken was also dry. The noodles were also dry. No peanuts to mix in. Bean sprouts and green onions and carrots were almost none existent. Chicken satay - just above ok (like 6/10) Spring rolls - bland & greasy Cheese wontons - not crispy and also greasy. Got to dine in this time, unfortunately it wasn't as great as I was hoping. I wanted to try their garlic & tamarind fish to test authenticity and unfortunately they served it as fish filet not whole fish which just took away all the chances of tasting how it should. The sauce was also lacking in the tamarind side. It was just more sweet and watery. The crispy egg rolls were veggie. So not really find of how their prices and quantity do not match. They have ridiculously reduced the quantity of the food. We ordered their garlic pepper chicken, Thai papaya salad and basil eggplant. The only thing matched the pricing to dish ratio was eggplant basil. Papaya salad was half container filled with cabbage and garlic pepper chicken was very less protein with 2/3 of the box with cabbage, broccoli and carrots. One of my favorite Thai spots! They have an excellent Khao Soy- egg noodles in a delicious curry soup. My other favs are the pad Thai, pad see eww, and curry. We got the roti appetizer this time- buttery perfection. It came with three sauces- curry, peanut and cucumber. Curry was my fav but all delicious. Thai has been my favorite that I always ordered Large Thai tea and shared it with my family because it was very huge cup. I was coming out of town and had a taste for a Thai tea and I ended up receiving a small Thai tea. The waitress said she has only one size--I was not satisfied. read more

Kind of an odd spot. The entrance opens to a giant table for takeout. The room is small with high ceilings and not a very cozy layout. Some music I could barely hear was playing overhead and TVs with no sound were on around the room. Unfortunately there was a very loud talker in the booth next to me which ended up being all I could hear (the waiter was extremely patient with him). The food was pretty good. The fresh roll was decent. I'm not a fan of peas and carrots in a Thai curry so chose the Panang Curry. Green beans were chopped in tiny pieces which seemed odd. And there wasn't a ton of chicken. Sauce had a good flavor. I chose medium spice and it was very mild. Servers were very nice. So, overall I'd say it's just okay. read more

This place is pretty legit being Laotian myself so I can vouch for this place. Located inside a plaza closing at 9pm just like their name. The staff was very friendly and we were pretty much last call since they were about to close but we didn't feel rushed 1 bit. I noticed they got a lot of takeout customers. Their spice level is straight to the point between 1-5 so don't take it lightly. We are Lao so we got between 3-5 and they were pretty spicy which we love. They also have an additional spice rack with chili oil, dried peppers, garlic pepper, and soy/fish sauce peppers. We ordered the fried shrimp appetizer, crab fried rice, tom yum noodle soup, beef drunken noodles, sticky rice, and chicken laap. We originally all wanted to try their boat noodles but they said they didn't have it at that time; bummer. My husband loved the fried shrimp appetizer which was lightly battered but really crispy paired with sweet and sour sauce. The crab fried rice was average to me I wish we ordered pineapple instead. I liked the flavor of the tom yum soup a lot but it didn't go well with the pho noodles. Their sticky rice was very mushy. The laap was kind of off it was very warm and lacked the typical laap flavor. Their drunken noodles were really good we all like that. Overall we enjoyed the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Don't take the spice levels here lightly unlike other Thai places! On a scale of 1- 5 I picked 4 for my drunken noodles and my lips were burning. Our server was nice to give me 3 after I couldn't do the spice level 4. And I eat spicy food all the time!!! Husband got the khao Soiand it was very flavorful and nice. Portions are good and ofcourse I have leftover for lunch now. We also got the roti trio for apps and it was crispy but slightly oily for my liking. Service is good. We ordered takeout from At Nine Thai the other night and it was amazing! I decided to make a meal of appetizers while my husband ordered the chicken fried rice. Every single dish was delicious. From appetizers we tried the spicy edamame, chicken satay, shrimp fresh rolls, pork gyoza, and veggie Tom yum soup. I think my favorite was the chicken satay which was perfectly grilled and the peanut sauce was delicious. The same peanut sauce was served with the shrimp fresh rolls. The soup was level 3 spicy and I thought it was the perfect amount and had a very generous serving of veggies. Lastly the chicken fried rice was unlike any other I'd had before as the chicken was also fried and this really took it to the next level; it had a nice batter. We got curbside take out today. First time and will definitely be back, likely in person next time. Was feeling lazy this evening and with lots to do, take out seemed like a great option. We usually do udom Thai but I had heard great things about this place so decided to switch it up. We got level 2 spice cup of Tom Yum, level 3 spice on double beef drunken noodles and spicy basil fried rice. Everything was fantastic. They were even right on time with our food when we pulled up. The best hole in the wall kinda restaurant. From the outside, you'd never know how cozy this place it. Super welcoming ambiance, we were sat in a booth right away. There are QR menus still and we couldn't easily decide on what to order because everything...and I mean EVERYTHING...sounded so good. I had a hard time deciding between their Khao Soi, Tom Yum, curries, and fried rice. They even had my all time favorite Pad See Ew! I couldn't have asked for a better selection in Centennial of all places. I went forward with the Khao Soi (added pork) and the Pad See Ew (added beef). We also ordered the Roti Trio as an app. The Roti seemed to be two large circles cut up in fourths for us. It came with a curry sauce, cucumber sauce, and a peanut sauce. All three were pretty sweet to me. Though my favorite was their fresh cucumber sauce with peppers and onion. It was cold and simple syrup like against the oily and flakey roti. Which by the way the roti on it's own was sooo good too. But we had to make sure we savored all the sauces. The Khao Soi was out of this world. Thick, creamy, spicy, and savory. You can choose the spice level. I enjoyed a level 2 just for the flavor more than for the spiciness. You can go to level 5. The egg noodles were perfectly long and al dente. The crispy noodles on top were really fun. I'd 10/10 order this again. I couldn't even finish all of the soup. The bowl was super big. So come with an appetite. The Pad See Ew was also amazing. Thick, chewy, and perfectly salted noodles. It seemed like a smaller portion than the Khao Soi, but perfect when also enjoying an appetizer. Overall would definitely come back for both! PS. So...I have eaten food from At Nine three different times. First time was take-out and it was "fine." Second time we dined in. While the food was good (better than I remembered) the atmosphere is just bad. Super small, bad lighting, hurricane-style air conditioning and a dish cart in the dining room stacked with dirty and overflowing dishes. If the place were massive maybe no one would notice. But it is SUPER small so the dish cart felt more than imposing. To make matters worse, there were two servers (for 3 small tables; one table had 2, one table had 3 and the only other table had 5), one of whom looked young (20-something) who was beyond overwhelmed. She was anxious, easily maxed out, frantic and loaded dishes into the dishcart as though everything was made of feathers. A ton of dishes being knocked around, stacked and scraped in a dining room the size of two minivans is absolutely bad. She seemed a combination of put out and maxed out anytime anyone asked her anything, and the dish job she was doing seemed to provoke the same response (as did wiping down the tables and putting new plates and forks out on the empty tables). Even if the food had been spectacular--which it wasnt--we decided we would have to resort to take out in the future. So today, I placed an order. I was 6 different entrees for 3 different households (I was taking dinner to 3 people who needed a lift in their day). I ordered on line and the ONLY request I made in the "special comments" section was "Please put entrees A and B in one bag; entrees C and D in a second bag, and entrees E and F in a third bag." The online order said the food would be ready at 415. I got there at 420. Food didnt come out til 435--in two bags...delivered by the really anxious and put out waitress. First, if I had been in a hurry, a 15 min wait would have been unacceptable. Second, the only thing I specified was 3 bags, each with 2 different (and also specified) entrees. I asked her where the third bag was and she--obviously overwhelmed--just stared at me. So I explained that I needed the items in 3 different bags and showed her my online request (Yes, I had taken a photo). She dramatically grabbed the two bags and left, storming back into the kitchen and then everyone in the dining room and I (a total of 6 people) heard a perturbed sigh of, well, I dont know what. Just something that made me think this girl is maxed out and hates her job. 10 minutes later (yes 10!) she came back into the dining room with 3 bags...and she could not have been more perturbed that she had been tasked with dividing the food as I had specified. No "sorry for the issue," no "sorry for the delay," no "thanks for your business," just nothing. Whether I spent $5 or $150 (which I did), probably some kind comment was warranted...especially after I waited 15 extra minutes from the promised "ready" time...and then 10 minutes for her to divide the 6 entrees into 3 bags (from the original 2). Food is decent but the management there needs to understand that their young employee needs some customer service training...or something...? Her anxious behavior is very uncomfortable to guests. I understand being nervous or anxious at a new job---everyone has been there---but she is not new. I also realize jobs are hard to get but if she is going to come to work and be overwhelmed and put out by customers' requests, she probably needs to find a new job. And...for what its worth, loud dish carts are NOT a recommended accessory in a small dining room. Uncouth, untidy and unpleasant...and super loud. Food is, as I said decent, but they need to make some changes or they might not last. There are plenty of other Thai places that not only have consistently great food, but they also have worked hard to provide decent atmospheres and great servers who add to the experience (for example, East Moon and E&T Thai). And...I think both of those places are a bit less expensive on top of everything. read more

We like to order takeout from this restaurant for a cozy night at home. The tom yum udon soup with steamed tofu is SO flavorful. The yellow curry was very filling and hearty with lots of veggies, potatoes and steamed tofu. Service is always friendly when we pick up food and we will continue to order from At Nine Thai. read more

Yelp for the win, again! I was craving pad Thai and we were out running holiday errands, so a yelp search led us to this little shop in a strip mall. Clean, bright, and we were welcomed shortly after walking in. We each opted for pad Thai - chicken and a level 4 spice for him, tofu and a level 3 spice for me. The spice was just right for me - seemed pretty mild at the beginning and building as I ate. I did have to mix everything up and add the lime that was provided to get the flavor I was looking for but this hit the spot for my craving! Tried this place after seeing the reviews here, but I'd say I'm highly disappointed. I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went after 40 minutes, yet still had to wait another 30 minutes for my food. The food itself was below average, the Penang Curry was too watery, the Drunken Noodles had an odd, unpleasant taste, and the Pineapple Fried Rice tasted of raw turmeric. Definitely not worth the wait or the hype. read more

I'd probably give 4.5 stars if I could, but I'll round up. I called to confirm they were still open until 9, and I got a weird response of 8:15 or maybe 8:30...yes, 8:30 if you're in before then. We walked in just a bit after 8, so guess we were ok. For the record, people were still going in after 8:30, so I guess they decided to stay open until 9. I ordered one of the better Thai ice teas I've ever had. The edamame had way too much salt on the top and none near the bottom. Temp seemed uneven as well, but I guess it was ok in general. I loved my Pad See Ew. Good-sized portion with good flavor and spice as well. My wife thought hers was good, but that it didn't have the same sweet flavor she's used to in other dishes. This place stole my heart! It will be my favorite Thai restaurant until I find a place that far exceeds it. I mean this is a ligit Thai place for sure. As far as I recollect, this restaurant used to be a Pho place. I noticed a while ago that that Pho restaurant went away and was replaced by something else. Not that I was happy to see it gone (as it sure was a decent restaurant), now I know that this Thai place exists in this lonely shopping center, I will do my best to come here as often as I can to support it. This is not a fancy restaurant in any way but it's the quality of food that it produces and serves. We shall never been deceived by its appearance, right?? Service was top-notch on top of the food. The two ladies that were there assisted me with attention to detail. On a Friday night, although the restaurant wasn't necessarily packed with people, they appeared to be super busy mostly online to-go orders. People came in and went quickly but for some reason, they were so quick about making my food. I walked in to place my order but I felt like it only took them 10 minutes to make it. So don't waste your time by going to so so Thai restaurant just because you've known them for years. Go/come to this place; you'll not be disappointed in any way. read more

On a Sunday night, five of us enjoyed a lovely dinner/meeting here At Nine Thai. We started early (met at 5pm) and the restaurant was constantly busy with to-go orders and by 7pm, it was packed with customers. The staff shared that sometimes they get so busy with online orders, they have to turn off the ordering system. That night for example, they ran out of noodles. Our group ordered: papaya salad, chicken larb (beef was on the menu but not available that night), panang curry, drunken noodles, basil eggplant, and we shared two appetizers: satay chicken and Siam tofu. We had folks in the group who didn't do spicy so everything we ordered was either mild, medium spice or no spice at all. I think that definitely impacted my tastebuds as dishes tasted a bit bland, especially the papaya salad. Everything was pretty good but nothing particularly stood out! I think the portions were also fairly small since we didn't have any food left despite ordering so much. I wondered if guests were still hungry... I wanted to order mango sticky rice at the end but they also no longer have it on their menu. When we first arrived, it took the staff 20 minutes to take our order. And we hardly saw them throughout the night but they were very friendly! As most places, they were understaffed and trying their best. Will definitely be back to try some other dishes! read more

This review is for their takeout. Love this spot, it's our go to place for when we're craving some comforting Thai food. The khao soy here is excellent - they really bring out the flavor of the broth. I usually get it with shrimp and they can pack in the heat if you ask. It's so good, my mouth is watering as I write this review(!!) Some other favorites are the drunken noodles, green curry and spicy udon(a new favorite). Wish they delivered to our area though, they aren't on Uber eats or DoorDash either. read more
