Bit pricey. What stood out was a young server named Nilesh . He is working full time and putting himself thru masters in hotel management , he is a worker and carry himself great . Had a great experience at Mad Over Curry. The Chicken Tikka Masala was tasty, creamy, and a little on the sweet side, but very enjoyable overall. I ordered it medium spicy, though it wasn't quite as spicy as I expected. The Chicken Curry was a classic dish with great flavor, and the medium spice level had a more noticeable kick. The Garlic Naan was fresh, slightly crispy, and perfect for dipping into both entrees. We also tried the samosas, which were flavorful with a nice level of spice and made for a great appetizer. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We visited around 5 PM, and it wasn't very busy, so our food came out quickly. I was on the search for pav bhaji so we decided to give Mad Over Curry a try. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and while the service is slow, they're very kind and gave us a free appetizer. I Happy to report that the pav bhaji is fabulous and the chicken korma curry was great, too! We will be back to try other dishes and hope the service is a bit faster next time. read more

Really good malai lassi, vada pav and goat fry biryani! There aren't any places in Denver where I've actually liked vada pav - the vada pav here closely resembles the ones I've eat a million times in Mumbai. Their pav is made in house which is so special and the red garlic chutney is on point. I would be back just for the vada pav! The malai lassi was really good too, we tried it based on the owners recommendation and loved it! GOAT fry biryani was surprisingly tasty and not too dry unlike most Indian restaurants we've tried biryani at. The triple schezuan rice was good but could be better - it has so much potential! A bit tangy imo. The chicken lollipop was good but smelled of oil which I think could be better - again, has a lot of potential! Service was good, very quick and the ambiance is actually pretty! Overall, I think this place is a great new Indian spot that Denver needed and I'm glad we stopped by for midweek dinner. read more

I waited to write this review until I was sure the taste was consistent. Our first visit was a bit disappointing. The paneer bhurji biryani was very mild despite requesting it spicy, and the cold onions on top made me wonder if the biryani was freshly prepared. About a month later, I decided to give this place another try and ordered the veg kheema biryani, extra spicy. I kept my expectations low but was pleasantly surprised. It was so good! Since then, I've ordered the Gobi 65 biryani and veg kheema biryani multiple times, and they've been consistently delicious. Happy to say this place really won me over. read more

I have eaten here once in person and once had take out. Both times the food was very good. The service is also very good when you eat in person, the staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the dishes. The food is very fresh and very tasty. We ordered on their site for takeout and after looking up what "bhuna" is we got butter chicken with rice, chicken bhuna with garlic naan, and a side of cheesy naan with mango lassis. The restaurant is clean and nife looking for dine in and my food was at the counter ready for me when I got there. The butter chicken was rich and the rice was soft without being too spongey. The chicken bhuna was herb crusted and delicious with both naans bringing a wonderful flavor and consistency. I will eat here again and soon! read more

We had a great dining experience at Mad Over Curry! The food was phenomenal ; fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. This used to be Hyderabad House, but everything feels elevated with this new management. The decor is stylish and welcoming, creating a fine dining atmosphere Another major plus, no wasteful buffets here, which is great to see Most impressively, however, is their staunch commitment to being eco-friendly. The owner is very conscious about avoiding plastics, from the takeout containers to the in house service ware. I didn't see any melamine plates and even the straws were made of paper. It feels great to enjoy delicious hot food without worrying about microplastics or chemicals leaching from plastic dishes, which unfortunately is still common in many other places. We're so glad we found Mad Over Curry and will definitely go there more often! Highly recommended! read more

While I typically order the boneless chicken biryani at medium heat, my children opt for various other dishes, and our family has thoroughly enjoyed every item we've tried. We ate there this evening and had a lovely experience. The restaurant is quiet and beautiful - the main part is in white and red while the "solarium" area is white and blue. It's clean, brightly lit and quiet. The plates were even pretty - a nice blue. The menu is extensive - in fact, there were 2, a small and a large. We were given some complementary papadum. Then we ordered samosas which were tasty. The potatoes inside seemed to have been mashed rather than chunked but they were tasty! Then we shared an order of okra masala and rice. Again, it was delicious. We finished with an order of butter naan. To my surprise, the masala and the naan came out of the kitchen piping hot. I'm not used to that in Denver - since water boils at a lower temperature here, and I'm from lower altitudes, I find it's hard to get food hot enough for me. But they certainly managed it! The waitress told me that they do not use any artificial colors or preservatives. Everything is prepared fresh from scratch, not frozen. Clearly they plan to stay in business - everything had an air of sophistication about it. We'll be back! read more

Our dishes were served 25-30 minutes apart--first the Manchurian arrived, and then we were left waiting for the noodles, which were meant to be enjoyed together. The same thing happened with our coffee--one arrived promptly, but the other took nearly half an hour. It disrupted the entire dining exp.. What a find! Real Indian food from various regions, including Indian Chinese food, nothing Americanized. Great staff offers guidance and recommendations. Everything fresh, fresh, fresh. Food met expectations - not the worst Indian food I've ever had, but certainly not the best. Atmosphere was okay, but they didn't have any music or anything playing (I know that's nitpicky but it's awkward to sit in a restaurant without anything in the background). The main reason I'm giving 2 stars is that we waited for our food and our drink for 45 minutes without any communication other than "sorry for the wait" until right before our food came out. Every group that came in after us got their food long before we did. We also stood for about a minute or so when we arrived before anyone acknowledged us. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant; 45 minutes for lack luster food and abysmal service is absolutely not worth it. read more

Call in order for chicken biryani. Said 25-30 min. Arrived at 27min, told an additional 5min needed. Waited 10 and told again, another 5min needed. For a simple rice dish, over 42 min? Oh my! Not your usual Indian American flavors or dishes, totally different with a lengthy regional menu to prove it. Among other things, Mumbai Street food. Indo Chinese cuisine=Chinese done Indian style. Two visits and delicious surprises both times, YUM! An in house bakery for breads and delightful desserts. Freshly ground spices enhance the flavors. OMG, Last night family style was an Afghani chicken curry and a chicken korma unlike the ones in so many in of our Tech Center area that you couldn't throw an IT's laptop out the window without hitting one. Ask for chai and your helpful waiter will tell you that it will take a while because they have to grind the spices. And please, ask you waiter for helpful suggestions, because unless you are from India, you will have no clue. The chicken lollipops are messy and well worth a trip to the super clean restroom to clean your fingers after dinner. Go with medium spice, when asked your level of comfort. Ask for a mango lasi and your waiter will politely educate you on a real Indian lasi and not the American version. Try one, I guarantee! Wish I had brought the phone for photos on both trips to accompany this review, my bad. Next trip for sure and my wife and I will be working our way through the menu with full color pics over the next several months of reviews. Why? Because we are crazy mad about Mad Over Curry. Next trip will be dosas for sure and whatever AJ, our waiter recommends to pair with them. Oh, and take home a slice of their chocolate cake or allow your lovely hostess, Darshina to suggest something to accompany your leftovers which I'll be having for lunch today. read more
