Whenever my wife and I crave Indian food, it is always India's Kitchen II in Centennial. We have tried many others in the area, and while good - none compare. Granted, we always order exactly the same dishes, so I can only speak to them. The key is their consistency. The flavors and always spot on and the exact same as the last time we indulged. Our go-to standards are Chicken Korma (hot), Saag Paneer (medium), Dal Fry (medium) and Garlic Naan. The Korma is always the perfect heat, not too hot, but enough to leave the heat lingering in your mouth. It's perfectly creamy, with a generous amount of chicken. The Saag Paneer always has the right combo of spinach, cream and cheese. It's making my mouth water, as I write this! The Dal Fry tastes like it has been cooking all day, with the perfect seasonings. It is the right consistency - not too watery and not too thick. All dishes come with a lightly seasoned rice. The Garlic Naan is always cooked perfectly, with the right amount of garlic and ghee. Absolutely the perfect vehicle to slide through all of the wonderful main dishes. We always order for pickup, but the restaurant seems very inviting and has an extensive bar area. I used to live down the road from here, but even after I moved I still order and go to this one. I'm not sure why, they have 2 other locations but I guess it's my favorite. Recently I was out running errands and felt like Indian food. Stopped in right around noon. The restaurant was not very busy, there being only 3 others occupied. I approached the hostess stand and she sat me a way from the other tables which were closer together. I didn't mind it except for the fact that she proceeded to ignore me for the next 10 minutes. No water, no menu, no silverware. She visited the other tables, who were already eating, several times while I just sat there. Mind you, the restaurant was almost empty. She finally went behind the bar and was prepping something there. I decided I was done and stood up and got my coat on to leave. She finally noticed me and ran over to stop me, apologizing for forgetting about me. Reluctantly I decided to stay. Ordered and another snag. I ordered Chicken Momo's as a starter and she said they would take about 45 minutes to prepare. What? So I decided not to do that as I was on a time crunch. Finally placed my order and service improved. I got Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan with a glass of wine. Food was very good and I received it in a fairly timely manner. I would have left 3 stars due to the poor start to the service, but without me asking the server took off 20% from my bill and she again apologized for forgetting about me. Absolutely fantastic. As usual. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious and when you ask for mild, they make it mild. When you ask for hot, they make it hot. We really enjoyed our lunch here but have a few tips to improve it. 1) We liked the ambiance but the tables were a bit far from the booth. My husband and I had to sit next to each other on the same side and pull the table toward us so we didn't have to lean over to eat our food. So put booths closer together or get wider tables for customer comfort and proper digestion posture! 2) the floor in the bathroom was sticky and one could tell it had just been freshly mopped so perhaps you need to change your cleanser or mop head. 3) the tandoori mixed meat sauce was really really salty, not just regular-restaurant-food-salty -Very salty! Review from me, a Brit who lived in Birmingham for 7 years, a major center of Indian population and of course, food. Visiting Denver, I couldn't eat in due to work commitments but did get take out, consisting of Onion Bhajis, Lamb Bhuna and garlic naan. The food order was ready quickly, and I'm happy to say, was excellent. The portion was generous, with a large rice side. I ordered "Spicy" and it was very pleasantly so. The sauce was very nicely flavored with plenty of lamb and vegetables. The onion bhajis were not quite the same as you'd get in England (as normal in US indian), but were tasty and delicious, and a huge portion (I have 3/4 of it still in my hotel fridge). Only small complaint was that the naan was a little flat, but was still very good. Overall, highly recommended, so much so that I might go back a 2nd time during my visit, maybe this time to try the table service. read more

IK2 is my favorite Indian place in the south burbs. The food is great. The service is consistently good. Parking is easy. They oddly have a bar, so you can go solo and watch the game while eating Indian food. Best of all, in a world where people spend $10 at fast food restaurants, the $10 lunch buffet is one of the great values in the state. Compared to India's Kitchen in Parker, this location is bigger, brighter, but the quality of the food is the same. There's so much to like here. They do all the classics well. Anything that you'd normally want - muttar paneer, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, samosas, biryani - is good. You really can't go wrong with the regular menu. If you're really hungry, the lunch buffet is a treat on the weekends. There's always a good spread of food that is constantly refilled throughout the afternoon. There's naan, rice, meat dishes, veg dishes, and even some desserts. I'm a regular on the weekends here because I like it so much. Pro tip: There are usually coupons to India's Kitchen (valid at both locations) on the back of your King Sooper's receipt or your local quarterly Parker Dining Guide.
