Momo were good, but didn't stand out compared to other fantastic momo I've had around the greater denver metro area (mostly in boulder). Hot dog was awesome, and I'm not big on hotdogs. Vegetarian samosa was out of this world. Must get samosas, and I'll be back for samosa here. Pakora had great spice to it, and was tasty. Mint sauce was killer. Chow mein was pretty good, but like the momo, not stand out compared to other amazing establishments. Definitely competes with the best of them though. They had complimentary chai, but I didn't realize it was complimentary until I was about leaving, so I didn't give it a try. I'm definitely coming back for samosa, and I'll be looking to try the many other items on their menu. read more

What a gem of a restaurant...the servers and owner are just lovely people. If you have questions about the menu they are more than willing to describe dishes and help with selections. I came to Momo's and got the steamed chicken ones and they were really good. The dipping sauce has a little spice but nothing crazy. Then there was this other kind covered in curry sauce and peppers that was really spicy. These were my favorite. If you like spicy food you will love these. Finally made it to the restaurant after eating g their food at pop ups. Won a gift card at a raffle and decided to spend it since I was nearby. Ordered a half order of steamed chicken momos, spicy fried tofu and spicy potatoes. Delicious and easy dinner for one. The sauce enhanced the flavor of the steamed chicken momos. The spicy fried tofu is amazing. Tasty and soft texture with a crisp outer shell. The potatoes were fried in the same dry spice. Nice addition to my meal. I have never had Indian/Nepalese dumplings before, except for samosas. These were pretty similar to their Chinese counterparts, except for one preparation that covered them in grilled onion, green pepper, and curry sauce. It was on the verge of too spicy for me- i definitely needed a chaser (the steamed dumplings were my chaser). If you tolerate spice well though, they were fabulous. I also really enjoyed the steamed chicken dumplings- they were served with a sauce that was just a touch spicy. Loved the complimentary chai (so good!) loved the proximity to Downhill brewery for beers, and loved the food. You really can't go wrong. The lady who took my order over the phone made great recommendations. I loved the neon logo. Highly highly recommend. read more

This place is absolutely delicious! I had never had authentic momo before, but after coming here I am definitely a fan. My friend had the fried momo while I had the more traditional jhol momo one where you pour cold broth over it. The dough is a little thicker, but the meat inside is tender with assorted spices. I also got the spicy chicken and it had quite the kick. It would go well with some rice. My friend had the fried potatoes and goodness, they were fried and seasoned so well. I will be ordering those next time. Now, their dessert is absolutely divine. It's a fried sweet pastry in a tortilla type wrap. My friend commented that she would go there for their mango lasse and dessert. They were both so delicious. Highly recommend stopping by. The owner is so sweet too. read more

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. You know that feeling of eating food so good that your body is just filled with joy?! THAT is this place! It's a small place near I25 and Arapahoe and from the moment I walked in, the aromas took me back to being in some grandmother's kitchen. There is free chai (that is damn good! Coming from a very picky Indian)!! It only got better from there. What we ordered: 1. The chow mein- so good. Chicken was excellently seasoned. Not too spicy (even for the kids) and it tasted like authentic Hakka street food! 2. Spicy potatoes - boiled potatoes tossed in this yummy authentic spice - not too much heat! So good with their momo sauce (momo achar). 3. Chau chau sadheko- an instant fried noodles chaat with chili, tomatoes, onions- it would pair perfectly with an iced cold beer! 4. C- Momo's - momos tossed in their chili sauce- probably my favorite thing there! 5. Steamed and pan fried chicken dumplings- both amazing. Their dojo sauce is served with the momo's and is a wonderful addition! We ended with dessert (how could we not)! I LOVED the Jheri Swari (a jalebi in a hot roti essentially). Detoured to this restaurant on a whim while taking a break on a road trip. Pulled up at 11:15 to see it was closed. We opted to wait a bit longer when we saw opening time on Google listed at 11:30am. Once he saw us, the the owner opened up early with a huge smile. He told us to grab a cup of (free!) chai, and then proceeded to walk us through the menu. We took all of his suggestions and shared an order of two half plates of momo (a mix of steamed, pan-seared and fried)--half of which were chili momo. Plus, an order of jerry puri tarkari , a spiced vegetarian dish of garbanzo beans, which was on special. Everything was tasty, the jerry puri tarkari in particular was a flavor bomb with good heat. The momo were also good, I prefered the chili over the plain and the fried over the steamed. The chili was good flavor, but could have used a bit more heat. Overall, great place to eat, and the word is out! Despite being less than two months old, there was a surprisingly steady stream of traffic w/in 30 minutes of opening on a snowy Saturday morning. read more

Small menu done exceptionally well. Momos are the Nepalese version of dumplings, commonly a street food in Nepal and NYC. Much of the food traditionally has a degree of heat so be aware but please don't shy away from some spice as the food can get bland without the traditional balance. Don't miss the Chicken Chow Mein (shareable for four), the Kothet (pan fried) Momos and the Jhol (Steamed with a savory pour-over sauce). Desserts are mostly brought in from a cooperating Nepalese backers but truly authentic and fantastic. The house Chai is on the house and delicious. RMM is a lovely setting to sit with friends and have a comfort meal that shares well. The place is kept very clean, the noise level is low and the staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. read more

Awesome food, amazing prices, and they just opened last week. We stopped in after seeing their menu at the brewery in the same strip. We got food for two, and with the tip it was under $30! The platter had 5 dumplings each of crispy, kothy/fried, and steamed chicken. We were told at the brewery to try the spicy potatoes, so we tried that as well as momo with the soup (which was really more of a sauce and I think it was my favorite, as I used that soup on all of the others). The spice level was decent, not too hot and enough to enhance the flavor of the rest of the food. I used all of the spicy sauce that came on the side as well. There was a yellowish sauce that we also got, but I prefer the spicy ones. The potatoes were well seasoned, but I still enjoyed dipping them in the soup/sauce. The food was awesome, came out quickly, and the staff was super friendly and helped us figure out what to order. They deliver to the brewery also. read more

The Nepalese dessert Jerri Swari was BOGO when we went & is so delicious I haven't been able to stop thinking about it! The chai tea was complimentary & yummy. The atmosphere was clean & welcoming. This is a family owned Nepali restaurant hidden away in the plaza on Arapahoe. It's small but the staff is really friendly. The prices are reasonable and there are lots of vegetarian options. It's a small menu but everything was actually pretty good. They have a nice little spicy kick but it's not too bad. Sometimes they'll have specials so it's best to ask. I want to shout out the incredible spiced fried tofu. Yes the veggie dumplings were also very good! But that tofu is something so special I wish I had a nicer photo but we had already eaten several pieces before I remembered to take a picture. The owner and his family are amazing people. So kind and generous, and the Chai blend is amazing -- an actual FAMILY SECRET! The restaurant is well lit, warm and inviting, and seating is easy. You order, sit down, enjoy some Chai, maybe a dessert and then you eat your momos, and then you have a little more Chai and maybe some dessert again and then you head out from there. You're really missing out if you haven't been here yet! I rarely ever get momos, but curiosity got the better of me. Convenient location off of Arapahoe around the DTC area. Really well broken out menu, was easy to figure out when I haven't ordered this type of food before. I got the steamed chicken momos and chicken sausage. The chicken sausages were delicious and a perfect start to the meal. The momos came pretty quickly and were cooked really well and very flavorful. Wow! Just wow! My wife and I wanted to try something new yesterday, so we took a leap. We've never had Himalayan/Nepalese food before, but the reviews were so good, we were excited to try it. The woman who took our order was nice and walked us through the whole menu. We had several different types of momos (dumplings) and they were all delicious! A friend and I went here for lunch, and we both enjoyed it very much! The restaurant is small but cozy. It is nicely decorated and very clean. The girl who took our order was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the Momo chicken combination plate for two, and it was excellent. This dish includes all three types of Momo along with two sauces and a pitcher of tomato-cilantro soup that you can pour onto the Momo. The chai tea is complimentary, and it too is delicious. First of all I wanted to say the Husband (this is a husband and wife owned establishment!) was so sweet, funny and overall very welcoming and informative about the delicious napali food they serve, he gave us advice on the food based on our likes and some history about the traditional food and their journey with the restaurant. We picked the chowmein (street style and big enough for me and my husband to share) and we went with a kothey momo thats chicken and herbs steamed and fried on the bottom. Both were ABSOLUTELY delicious and this is the type of food we have been looking for. Something fresh, on the healthier side and home made with love and attention. The husband made and tweeked all the recipes himself, and he mastered it perfectly for the US palate. We will be back and encourage anyone curious to try this lovely place! read more
