We'd heard about their paratha rolls - chicken tikka or paneer tikka with onions and green chili chutney rolled into a wheat paratha... and chose to order this instead of their lunch specials. If you go this route, know that it can take up to 30 minutes for it to be ready, and well worth the wait. However, the service becomes non-existent dhring this time, so it's better to order all items upfront. While the paratha roll is more expensive than a typical lunch price, the serving is huge at over a foot - and halved... enough for a tasty leftover. This review is for the lunch buffet. It was mediocre at best. Neither the chicken tikka masala nor the chicken curry were anything to write home about, the former being particularly bland. The naan was good. What was supposed to be lemon-lime soda out of a fountain was water, and unfortunately the difficulty that the staff member I spoke to seemed to have with the English language made it hard to communicate this fact. They seem like nice people though, and I want to credit them for providing good customer service. But the food just wasn't that good. When I utilized this business a little while back, I really didn't have a great experience; it was mostly not so great service where the lady who assisted me had no friendliness in her facial expression or words she uttered. My daughter who recently got a takeout from here pretty much agreed with me when it came to service (although she absolutely enjoyed the food itself.) I, however, believe in giving people or businesses a second chance so I went here just the other night to get myself a quick dinner (to which my daughter accompanied me.) To my surprise, I had a much better experience this time. The male worker upfront immediately greeted us upon arrival; he was polite with professionalism. He didn't rush me in any way; he patiently waited until I knew what I wanted. Once I had told him what I wanted he immediately transacted the order to which I settled the tab. While I was waiting for my food, I took the time to look around the restaurant to notice everything inside the it. The restaurant was very clean. The long/skinny layout of it is somewhat modern. It also has a good size patio seating. All the way back to the end (east side of it) there is a party area/room. It appears it can possibly hold 30-40 people. There was a customer who dines here on a regular basis (he also identified himself a friend to the business owner) and he friendlily spoke to us as he noticed us when walked in. He was sort of acting like the spokesperson of the restaurant and he said to talk to the manager if we had any questions or problems with anything with this place as the manager/owner truly cares about their customers' needs and satisfaction. What a nice guys!! After 10-15 minutes, my food was finally ready. At home, I immediately started my meal. Let's get to the main topic of this review: the food!!! Vegetable samosas: my daughter made a recommendation on this. When it comes to samosas I like chunky/dense ones. This restaurant makes their samosas thin. They tasted good but I still like my samosas made chunky stuffed with all kinds of ingredients with more density. These are 7 out of 10. Kari Pakora: Lemony curry with a good amount of kick (its spiciness is quite noticeable.) Unlike other typical curries, this one is not as heavily stewed so the texture is closely resembling to soups (more like) so in that sense, it's a light curry. I've never had a curry like this and I dig this very much; 8.5 out of 10 (the rice that accompanied the curry had a lot of saffron in it. In a way, I like my rice more plain so that it's not too overpowering to kill the flavors of the curry. It wasn't bad though!) To conclude my experience this time, it was quite good; 8 out of 10 for everything I had experienced. Food isn't authentic Indian. Spices are all off balance. Some of the menu items might hit the spot but most of them are typical "fusion" types to cater to locals. Service is just ok. Trying to find authentic Pakistani food in the greater Denver area is SO hard, but Naan Curry Grill just might be it! The food was delicious and everything came out fresh. The karhai was very solid and was delish with naan. The chicken biryani was moist, flavorful, and satisfied my Pakistani food craving. You have the option to choose your spice level for the biryani (maybe for other dishes as well?) and getting it medium was perfect for us. Ask for raita on the side and you are SET. This is what happened in Centennial with Naan Curry Grill. I ended up ordering Paneer Butter Masala and an order of garlic naan. I'd say the Paneer Butter Masala was solid as well as the naan and rice. At just under $20, it's a good amount of food to fill you up. Naan Curry Grill has the vibe of more cafe than elegant sit-down restaurant and as a result the feel of the food as well is that way. It doesn't make it bad, just perhaps makes it a bit high price point-wise for what it is. However, it should be applauded for being available Indian cuisine in this area, tastes good, and served quickly and well. The staff were very Indian and so were very polite. Ultimately, I'd put it at 3.5 stars but I round up because I am also very Indian and very polite. read more

My husband, my Pakistani roommate and I travelled a ways down to Naan Curry Grill( about 20 miles) so our roommate ( new to America) could have some good hd I'd more familiar with. I didn't realize they were closing to serve a large party for a special occasion. So being an ex waitress I let them know how far we had travelled and they let us sit anyway. Just right there- their graciousness has made me someone who will go back. The server was very very quick, friendly , and efficient. The atmosphere was nice Thr best part for me was that you could help yourself to hot chai tea- add milk and sugar to your taste. The garlic naan was full of flavor and came with the entrees- light yet delicious and enough for about 3 meals. We split some vegetarian Samosas with raita sauce, at the recommendation of the server, it was fried but had a rather light crisp crust. I loved it. The three entrees we shared were Bhindi Masala with onions and okra, chicken Harahi with large pieces of chicken and I believe Chicken Biryani it came out sizzling with a lot of chicken and onions and great spices. It was a great experience for us as we have had Indian food but not dishes that were from our roommate's area of his country. They also serve Greek food. I love finding a good lunch special, especially when inflation has gone up like crazy! I would of gave this a higher rating but the service was my reasoning for this review. I had called ahead to place my order- was told it would take 10-15 minutes. Came in 20 and my food was not ready or packed. While I was paying for my food, the guy should of been packing my food at that time but instead he stood there and watched me pay. I hate this- I feel like I'm obligated to tip and makes it awkward. Right after he looks to make sure I tipped. After I paid I watched him pack my food from the buffet which should of been ready for me, esp when there was not a single customer in the restaurant. Why tell me a time frame ? It is lunch, and I am in a rush- so every minute matters to me when I have to pick it up. As for the food it was good, for the lunch price, it was more than enough. I had leftovers. The garlic naan bread was fluffy and delicious. For the chicken tikki masala, they had no spice level to offer. And you know I love my spicy food. Indian spice is amazing and that is one thing I was looking forward to. As for the inside, it looks very maintained and clean. Plenty of seating to eat inside. It was our first time going to Naan Curry, as soon as we walked in the ambiance is what I liked, nice seating and bollywood music playing. We ordered chicken bbq, kabob, nihari and naan. Everything was sooo good and tasty and the portions of everything we ordered was very good too. We immediately decided to come here our second night in denver as well. Being the only Pakistani restaurant in our area in Denver, I highly recommend this place. I recommend the tandoori chicken, kabob, and nihari. We came here at 11 am when they had just opened and were still cleaning. They were nice enough to get us seated quickly. We ordered the halwa Puri, which is basically chole bhature for those who are familiar with it. We also got a sweet, salty and mango lassi, and a chai to end the meal. The chole were delicious. Slightly softer cooked than I expected and had a very homemade flavor which I appreciated. The bhature were good sized and very flaky but too oily. We actually used some of the tissue papers to soak the oil out of them. Unlike other places I've eaten bhature at, these are thin so it's easy to eat 2 or even 3. The suji halwa, outside of looking as if it had been dunked in orange color, was very tasty and just the right amount of the sweet. The lassis were good but I think the sweet and the salty ones were better than the mango. We had to wait a while for the one tea we had ordered to arrive, so it was obvious they had forgotten about the tea. But when brought out, the tea was delicious. They have a 10% discount if you check in through Yelp and are honoring that. read more

My co-worker and I eat here a couple of times a month. I love the Masala, Saag, garlic naan, and the flavors in the rice. Service is always good, everyone is so nice, and the owner often stops by our table to be sure everything is good.
