Delicious, authentic Indian-Pakistani food. We split three entrees: chicken tikka masala, fish curry and tandoori chicken. The tikka was our least favorite dish: was much sweeter than we were used to. The fish curry was exceptional: tender fish in a wonderful savory sauce. We polished off this one with the basmati rice and garlic naan. The tandoori chicken was average but nicely presented with onions and cilantro. If you come on a weekday, they have fantastic lunch specials for less than $10. The service was friendly and attentive, and the dining room and open kitchen area were clean. Our only complaint was the lack of real silverware: the serving dishes and plates were all regular glassware, but the utensils were the plastic takeout kind. Just felt out of place. read more

The place is pretty good though my recommendations are the main dishes. I also realize that the rice is a bit different from other Indian restaurant, it's still basmati but with a different color. The mango lassi is a bit smaller than I'm used to but it's still good. A lot of minorities dines in and get take out orders so you know it's authentic. read more

Eh... this makes me sad. I was super excited to come here. First, the service was not good. We let him know as we were ordering we needed separate checks, he rolled his eyes, (it was a work thing). Our server was not nice. at all. Our food took 45 minutes. Everyone that came in after us got their food and were done before us. He served us all the wrong dishes, when I asked for mine, he told me what I had was mine (it wasn't). Everyone started eating and said their food was wrong and he said it wasn't (it was). I had to get up to ask him again, and he ignored me. We had to ask him for drinks, he gave us cans and told us we couldn't have fountain drinks. Everyone around us had fountain drinks. We came here from a very long day of driving around Denver and sightseeing and we were tired and starving. As soon as you walk in, you can smell fresh food and your mouth waters. If I could give this place 3.5 stars, I would. But it's definitely better than 3. We got the chicken boti which was VERY tasty: it had just enough seasoning and came out piping hot. We ordered paneer tikka masala (off menu item) but they brought paneer Karahi by mistake and eventually brought out the paneer tikka masala. The paneer Karahi was definitely heavily seasoned: it was a little strong for my taste. The paneer tikka masala was very liquid-y and did not have any great flavor. I mixed the two paneer dishes and it was pretty good. I would suggest that you don't ask for something off menu because it might not be what you would expect. Part of the reason why this place gets 3.5-4 stars is because the service could have been better. We had to wait very long before our order was taken, our questions were answered about every 5 minutes, the wrong order was brought out and our rice came out late (most entrees come with rice). Although Saqib (our waiter) was completely polite and very apologetic, I would suggest to the owners that they staff more waiters during the dinner rush. read more

Solid gyro plate, but rice to meat ratio was way off. I stopped here one weekday to get a gyro plate for my boyfriend. I waited around for about 15 minutes before I got my food. The rice was flavorful and delicious and the portion was heavy, but it was mostly rice with a few pieces of gyro. Don't get me wrong, the gyro was perfectly seasoned, Smokey, and good, but I just wish there was more of it. They top off the plate with a mayonnaise-based sauce that tasted like best foods mayo. The naan tastes amazing! Both the garlic naan and regular naan disappeared from our plates almost immediately! The samosas are different from the chunky ones I'm used to, however they tasted good. I wish they had a sweet tamarind sauce option for them. A lot of their dishes are full of flavor and spicy. With the exception of some dishes, you can pick your spice level. Their mango lassi is sweet and one of my go to drinks in restaurants. The one thing that can be improved is the organization. I had ordered something online however it was not ready for pick up. First time here! What I like about it: It can be sit down inside or outdoor patio. Since most of the food is prepared ahead, it's like an Indian buffet, but you choose and they serve it. We are incredibly disappointed. When Naan Curry opened, we were regular, enthusiastic customers. The food was always excellent, the ambience was calming, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Tonight was a completely different story: Our food: * Chicken Biryani (old chicken; in addition the entree was bland) * Shrimp Karahi (previously one of our top 2 dishes, tonight's Karahi had lots of tiny, crunchy pieces of shrimp shell - yuck) * In addition, when my husband entered the restaurant to pick up the meal, he was asked to pay before the dishes were ready. He paid a waitperson at the register and added a tip. After ten minutes he asked when our food would be ready. He was handed the bag without a word of thanks. The Naan is heaven--crispy outside, soft and fluffy inside. The biryani can feed a village and is amazing with crispy fried onions and fresh cilantro to top. It hits the spot. There's a good variety here which makes it easy to find something to eat. When you walk in, you'll be greeted with a menu full of gyro, shawarma and lamb at the front counter. If you walk further, you'll come across another station which displays a variety of Indian and Pakistani food items that you can sample before actually ordering. I personally chose from the menu at the second station because I was craving Indian food. They have two sides (rice and naan) to choose from and you can make a plate with two or three entrees. If you want more, you can definitely add another side or entree or both. There were only two vegetarian options so I wish they can at least one more thing however I got the chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer - both of which I really liked. While the saag paneer was good, I had one paneer in the entire serving so I hope they can add more paneer to that dish as well or if there is more paneer, then to serve it better. The rice was long grained and perfectly cooked while the buttery naan was fluffy. Last complaint, three of the four naan pieces were burnt and that is not a pleasant taste. All in all, it's a pretty good restaurant and I'm glad it's close to me because I will probably be coming back. read more
