While waiting for a car maintenance appointment and looking for a somewhat healthy option for breakfast/brunch, I found Shawarma. The restaurant is similar to Chipotle where you start at the beginning of the assembly line and make your way down while choosing what you want on your plate until you arrive at the register. The food was decent. We got there right when they opened and they weren't ready for another 5-10 minutes but not a big deal. Given that they just opened I assumed everything would taste fresh but that wasn't necessarily the case. The food was good just not as fresh as I expected. I love lamb but my lamb plate was just ok. The combo kabob plate was really good with really tender chicken. The Asian employee working there was definitely the best part of the restaurant. He was very professional, helpful, and personable. read more

This place is amazing! It's family owned and the staff are very welcoming. As I was browsing the menu, I explained to the cashier that it was my first time and he gave me a thorough walkthrough of their menu. Everything is very fresh and high quality. I got the chicken kebab plate and the beef kebab plate. I got both items to go. The presentation looked amazing and the taste was amazing as well. I highly recommend trying this place out. The decor was colorful and set up with seating for a quick meal (the high school was across the street). The menu was hung up on the wall to order. It use to be awesome. The stuffed grape leaves use to be my favorite but now it's like they're not fresh anymore. Something has changed it's like they're pretty made and sit all day in liquid. Very soggy. Our they sat for days in the refrigerator. Every else is just ok. The big thing that really, really bothered me is charging $1.25 for their sauces. Are you kidding me? I've never been to a med place where they charged for sauces! You really can't go wrong with anything here but I usually get the chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce. I challenge you to eat it all including the pita!! The other dish that is out of the world is the falafel. I never had delectable falafel until I came here. It melts in your mouth! Please try it and it'll change your life. You'll realize what the humble chickpea can really be! Oh and the hummus. Spectacularly creamy, fresh and oh so tasty. Next topic is the price. You can't have a great restaurant with fresh food and pay your employees fairly for a $7 huge plate of food. It's just not possible. I gladly pay the prices here to support local and have the highest quality food. It's the freshest you can find. Lastly is the customer service. They are just delightful. Helpful. Efficient. Smiles. Giving 5 stars for their handling of an issue. I tried door dashing some food, pretty sure another driver took the food and ate it, an hour later the restaurant called me asking what the status was because there's a new driver there asking for the food. The worker then called DoorDash directly to figure it out, made sure DoorDash covered a new fresh meal and sent the driver with the new meal. This place has been around now for some time. The food is still good, as well as the services. The prices are reasonable for today's prices and the place is always clean. I especially like the lamb shawarma wrap, I think that for lamb the price is reasonable and the wrap tastes great. I find it a little funny that they put rice and potatoes in the wrap (you can always customize and not have those added), I'm not used to rice or potatoes in a shawarma. But having said that, I think adding potatoes works. Rice not as much. If I could request something, is that they have tahini and hot sauce available on tables to add, similarly to how ketchup or mustard are in burger place, for example. read more

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is great, filling, and full of flavor. The kabobs are also grilled when you order and the chicken kabobs aren't dry either! I got the chicken kabob plate for $14.99 which came with 2 chicken kabobs, rice, potatoes, salad, pita bread, and hummus. The food compliments each other perfectly and it makes you wanna go back for more. When you order the kabobs, they let you know the kabobs will take a while so you can sit for a few mins before they ask you to come back up to put your plate together. They have lots of options to pick from for your toppings (which isn't available online sadly but they still give you the basic lettuce and tomatoes!). It was loaded with chicken, and then covered with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, feta, and pickled turnips. (You choose your own toppings. There's also olives and pickles.) I couldn't recognize the bright pink things, so asked. Counter guy said, "Pickled turnips." I was dubious, so asked if they were good. He said that he loved them, and offered to put them on the side. I said, "Nah, I'll be brave." They're an awesome addition. Strong taste, but I liked them. I mistook the sliced dill pickles for okra, so passed on them. Did try them from BF's plate, and they were good! BF had a plate with beef shawarma, rice, hummus, potatoes, and salad. He loved everything. It was his first time here. The falafel was EXTRAORDINARY. Crispy outside, fluffy and delicious inside. OMG. And they're huge. We ordered two orders, but only finished one. Portions here are generous. I could only finish half my wrap! We were excited to find a Mediterranean food place near home. As we walked in we were greeted by a very excited and friendly staff, eager to serve us. The options were fresh and plentiful, with a very Americanized version, but also a traditional Lebanese option, which we prefer. (Meat, salad, garlic sauce and hummus in flat bread) Unfortunately we had a couple issues, which probably aren't typical. The flavors were great, but my wife had a long hair in her wrap, which of course turned her stomach and she didn't finish her food. We were excited about the Baklava and it looked great and came with a small cup of pistachio ice cream, which was a nice touch. Again, unfortunately the dessert seemed to be made with way too much rose water, which overwhelmed the taste of everything else, making the Baklava not enjoyable. Again, the place was packed, staff was great and I have to assume our experience was not typical, so if I can convince my family to go back and give it another try, hopefully we'll have a much better experience the next time. read more

I listened to my fellow Yelpers and tried the chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce and it comes with these little potatoes that are to die for.
