So far the best Thai in the Centennial area I've tried. The flavors were more authentic and not flavored down. Including the spice level. My wife can usually do a medium but even the mild+ compounded in her. As for me the medium was perfect for someone who grew up with SEA spice (and have had to reduce as I got older). I first tried their pad Thai as a to-go order and was pretty impressed I brought my wife the next day to dine-in. First to note, their entrance is through the patio, right in the middle. I know I missed it when I first came for pick-up. But it's a welcoming patio with lots of live plants and herbs. Their indoor is modern and chic, chill and casual. As for food, the flavors were excellent. They seemed to not have skipped on quality and authenticity. It was very enjoyable and will now be our go-to for Thai in the Centennial area. read more

The 5 of us showed up at opening on a random Sunday. They had large party of people coming in and warned us service would be a bit slower than usual. It was worth the wait and they proactively comped us some egg rolls when they brought some appetizers we ordered. It was a nice personal touch. The egg rolls, veggie and chicken, were fresh crispy and didn't disappoint. The main dishes were outstanding. The Pad Thai was served traditionally in a thin omelette. The Green curry was rich and flavorful. The Basel pork stood out. Still very expensive for Thai food, but food is pretty decent. Noodles are their strength, though I feel that it is not as good as it used to be a few years ago. It's also possible that maybe my taste has changed. I'm glad to see that their spice levels are still the same as before. I get mild plus, and that's like medium at most other places. And their hot is way hotter than most other place's Thai hot. I can't imagine what their Thai hot would be like. They make everything to order, which I prefer. This does mean that it takes longer between ordering and receiving food. Curry and rice dishes don't wow me. Soups are super tasty though. And I really like their chicken satay with their curried peanut sauce. Friendly service and clean interior is maintained, so glad to see that too. Overall I still recommend Udom. Went here before a movie at the recommendation of a friend. It's a quaint, well-maintained little spot in a strip mall which looks very unassuming from the outside. Inside, it's decorated well and was a nice sit down spot for us. The food is very good with incredible flavors coming through. We had the Thai iced tea which is the perfect amount of sweetness (portions are a little light bc it comes in this fancy tall glass), the chicken egg rolls (delicious and freshly made), the drunken noodles with chicken and the pineapple fried rice with chicken (both absolutely amazing... Will order again!). We kept the spice level to 3 and so glad we did... 3 is a kick!!! We love spicy food and 3 was probably the top of what we could handle. Their spice warnings are no joke. It took a while to order and get the food.. service is a little slow so if you're doing sit down, make sure you leave time. I've been meaning to write this review for a few months now, but lucky for those reading this, I've been back almost weekly so this place is always consistent. This family run restaurant has very quickly become our favorite restaurant. I'd like to highlight when we placed a very large order (8 people, but family style, so double portions for everything we ordered) for a birthday we were celebrating. We ordered Chicken Satay, Thai chicken dumplings, Crab fried rice, Pad Cha Seafood, Pad See Ew Pork and some deserts. Each dish was perfectly prepared and the flavors and spice level were perfect as well. The chicken satay was tender and the dumplings were moist. The seafood was cooked perfectly - not overcooked. The crab is real lump crab and they did not skimp on it. That goes the same for any of the proteins in each of the entrées. There was a generous portion of seafood and pork in the Pad Cha Seafood and Pad See Ew. They included all the condiments and some extra - limes, fish sauce, dipping sauce for the dumplings, etc. Don't forget the desert. The coconut ice cream is made in house. You can tell they take great pride in executing each dish. They really knock it out of the park for a birthday celebration. I can't speak highly enough of Udom Thai and have recommended it as our favorite Thai restaurant. If you are far from here, it's well worth the travel. Based on reviews, I ordered noodles with mild spice. Bad decision, noodles were "gummy" and had no flavor. Restaurant itself was nice but server was not friendly. Waited till after we paid our bill to ask how we enjoyed the meal since neither me nor my husband ate much. Won't be back. read more

I came back here after a few years and I was impressed. The server was nice and explained the level of heat. When I asked for less cooking oil in the dish he said they don't make oily food. And sure it wasn't , I got a glass noodles dish with egg and vegetables, yummy and the right spices. I'll go back. read more

Clearly marked and well organized menu with tons of options for everybody. I had the Massaman curry with tofu. It was so filling, I think I only had a third of the portion and I'm stuffed. My Omnivore friend had shrimp pad Thai, note, "medium spice" is very very hot which she thought was perfect. Kind server, exceptionally clean restaurant and bathroom. Highly recommend. Sat outside at cute patio, feeling sad for all the people passing this place by in favor of the processed-food-chain-sandwich shop next door. Five stars! read more

I'm still dreaming about their beef salad! It's probably the best grilled beef salad I've had at a Thai place and I've had a lot. When the server warns you that their spice levels are hotter than any other Thai restaurants, believe them! I love spicy food, and I asked for a medium. Their medium is easily a hot level. So dial it back a notch if you want to actually taste and enjoy your food. I wasn't a believer and now I would order one heat level down!!! I think it would be easier for them to just not make their dishes so spicy rather than warn every single customer who comes in that their food is extremely spicy. We enjoyed everything. Their pad Thai was a bit on the sweet side, which I don't like, but my daughter enjoyed it. The service was great. It took a while to get our food, but our server was friendly and funny. The place was empty for lunch. We were the only ones there, which felt odd. Our server said that dinner service is usually packed. Sad to have to update my review & knock off 2 stars. Something has happened to this establishment that has changed both the food and the pickup experience. The flavor has lacked majorly the last several times we've ordered. My second to last order was missing an item. I attempted emailing & calling to receive either a refund or credit towards my next order with no avail. What was the last straw was being charged $3 upon picking up our online order for this sad tiny little container of PEANUTS ( see picture). $3 is very excessive. I cannot speak for dining service personally, but just from looking every time we pickup our order, the dining customers seem frustrated with lack of service as there's only one person manning everything in the front end. One star for service due to: - Arrived at 1:35 pm today and had already planned on ordering a dish that was quick for a place to prepare (vegetable delight) - The waitress came over to tell me that she was not sure if I could be served because a party of 4 arrived and another party of 1 and they closed at 2 pm. She was pressuring me to not stay and said she would check. Any well established restaurant that closes at 2 pm, and accepts guests till 2 pm, should not turn a customer away at 1:35 pm when there are a total of 5 people in the restaurant (excluding me). - I was treated kindly last week when I arrived at 1 pm and received the opposite (rude) treatment this week for a reason that was not my fault. With her disgruntled attitude today, they should close at 1 pm and serve whomever is in the restaurant so they can go home promptly after they close if that is how they decide to operate. When other people were asking her for things, she was not kind to them as well. - I ordered brown rice with my meal for an extra charge. When she brought white rice and I mentioned the brown rice, she said she forgot. She then made me feel bad for requesting brown rice and was put out with me for something that was her fault. She said that they could not substitute brown rice for white rice and I already had told her I would pay for the brown rice. She was just getting pleasure for being rude to me and I was nothing but kind to her. She shouldn't be a waitress with the attitude that she presents to customers. - The fake kindness came when the waitress started to ask for payment of course. After being treated so rudely, it's as if I was dealing with someone with a split personality. - When it came time to pay, there were options starting at 20%, 25% and 30% via their credit card device. First thing I noticed was the fantastic service from the moment I stood in front of the restaurant- The servers have a uniform of black pants, a white shirt and vest. The restaurant is clean and aesthetically pleasing in its decor. The food came in a timely manner and was beautifully plated. I had Tofu Panang Curry and it was delicious. Cute little gem inside of a strip mall. There were only two servers working the entire restaurant, so service was a bit slow, however we weren't in any rush so this didn't affect us at all, and the server that we had was very pleasant. There were only two of us diners, but I ordered several dishes to expose my friend to some of the favorite things my ex-boyfriend from Thailand used to make me. We started with the papaya salad, but we got it Lao Style, with crab paste in it. The papaya salad was good, I've never seen pieces of papaya that large before, but it did make it easier to eat. We also got the Thai Beef Jerky appetizer, which was crunchy on the outside but moist and tenderly chewy on the inside. The sauce for the jerky was amazing. I originally wanted to get the snapper, but they were out, so I got the Ka Pra Moo Krob Kai Dao (crispy pork belly and ground pork with thai basil). The crispy pork belly in this dish is very traditional to true Thai dishes that aren't in other Thai restaurant menus. These dishes were good, but I like my Thai food Thai hot. I asked the waiter to make the Papaya Salad and my pork dish Thai hot and he said that nobody ever orders Thai hot because it's so hot and said he would bring them out medium with the extra chili on the side for me to increase the spice level myself. I ended up adding quite a bit of chili to the dishes to make them to the spice level that I wanted (Thai Hot). I even explained that I dated a guy from Issan, Thailand for 3 years and that I'm accustomed to spice because they're very close to the Lao border and that I had eaten Thai hot from this restaurant before and that I could handle it. The only thing I would have liked better is if he would have trusted my assessment of my ability to handle true Thai hot. But moving on, my friend ordered the drunken noodle plate with chicken. This dish I didn't care for that much it seemed a little bit bland compared to everything else on the table. However, he very much enjoyed it. Overall the service was good, most of the food was very good. Definitely one of the better true Thai restaurants I've had in the Denver Metro Area. read more

Kept passing by this place and decided to finally try it out. We got the tom yum seafood fried rice ($25.95) and while it is pricey, you get a good amount of seafood in it. The spice level on this was mild plus and it was pretty spicy for something "mild." I learned my lesson and got no spice next time and that was definitely better. The mild plus one was more salty too so the no spice one is my preferred spice level for both spice and sodium levels. It is kinda pricey though so we wouldn't get it too often but I'd definitely be back to try other foods! read more

My husband and I absolutely love it and this is our go to place since we found it. We are big Thai fans so we decided to give Udom a try. The place is small and very drafty so bring a jacket when it's cold out. The service wasn't very good they missed my wife's order so she had to watch me eat while they whipped hers up. However the Drunken Noodle and Tom Kha soup was amazing. Looks nice when when you walk in and only three other tables at 6pm on Wednesday. We order chicken Pad Thai medium spicy and a chicken skewer. Chicken skewers took 20 minutes to come. The peanut sauce was nice with it. Then after 40 minutes finally the chicken pad thai came. It was soooooo spicy for medium. We ask the other waiter why is so spicy, he said our waitress should have told us. Other table heard it and told us that the waitress warned them medium was too spicy. Wife ate a few bite and had it! The waitress never ask what is wrong since is a whole plate of food we are not taking with us. Service is really bad from the lady. We had an outstanding experience here. The greeter/server is friendly and does a great job of detailing the spice levels in the dishes. The timing of the apps/meal was nice and the food came out hot. The portion sizes were very good and left us with food for the next day. I had the sweet and sour with chicken and my wife had the massaman curry with chicken.
