    Pad Cha Seafood - Yum!

I've been meaning to write this review for a few months now, but lucky for those reading this, I've been back almost weekly so this place is always consistent. This family run restaurant has very quickly become our favorite restaurant. I'd like to highlight when we placed a very large order (8 people, but family style, so double portions for everything we ordered) for a birthday we were celebrating. We ordered Chicken Satay, Thai chicken dumplings, Crab fried rice, Pad Cha Seafood, Pad See Ew Pork and some deserts. Each dish was perfectly prepared and the flavors and spice level were perfect as well. The chicken satay was tender and the dumplings were moist. The seafood was cooked perfectly - not overcooked. The crab is real lump crab and they did not skimp on it. That goes the same for any of the proteins in each of the entrées. There was a generous portion of seafood and pork in the Pad Cha Seafood and Pad See Ew. They included all the condiments and some extra - limes, fish sauce, dipping sauce for the dumplings, etc. Don't forget the desert. The coconut ice cream is made in house. You can tell they take great pride in executing each dish. They really knock it out of the park for a birthday celebration. I can't speak highly enough of Udom Thai and have recommended it as our favorite Thai restaurant. If you are far from here, it's well worth the travel. (The pictures I've included are of our last meal from here - delicous!)

The 5 of us showed up at opening on a random Sunday. They had large party of people coming in and warned us service would be a bit slower than usual. It was worth the wait and they proactively comped us some egg rolls when they brought some appetizers we ordered. It was a nice personal touch. The egg rolls, veggie and chicken, were fresh crispy and didn't disappoint. The main dishes were outstanding. The Pad Thai was served traditionally in a thin omelette. The Green curry was rich and flavorful. The Basel pork stood out. It's been a while since we ate at Udom Thai, they reminded me why we should keep them on our short list for a Thai craving.

I came back here after a few years and I was impressed. The server was nice and explained the level of heat. When I asked for less cooking oil in the dish he said they don't make oily food. And sure it wasn't , I got a glass noodles dish with egg and vegetables, yummy and the right spices. I'll go back.

Clearly marked and well organized menu with tons of options for everybody. I had the Massaman curry with tofu. It was so filling, I think I only had a third of the portion and I'm stuffed. My Omnivore friend had shrimp pad Thai, note, "medium spice" is very very hot which she thought was perfect. Kind server, exceptionally clean restaurant and bathroom. Highly recommend. Sat outside at cute patio, feeling sad for all the people passing this place by in favor of the processed-food-chain-sandwich shop next door. Five stars!

Decor. Could use a little upgrade. At least glue their poster edges back up.

I'm still dreaming about their beef salad! It's probably the best grilled beef salad I've had at a Thai place and I've had a lot. When the server warns you that their spice levels are hotter than any other Thai restaurants, believe them! I love spicy food, and I asked for a medium. Their medium is easily a hot level. So dial it back a notch if you want to actually taste and enjoy your food. I wasn't a believer and now I would order one heat level down!!! I think it would be easier for them to just not make their dishes so spicy rather than warn every single customer who comes in that their food is extremely spicy. We enjoyed everything. Their pad Thai was a bit on the sweet side, which I don't like, but my daughter enjoyed it. The service was great. It took a while to get our food, but our server was friendly and funny. The place was empty for lunch. We were the only ones there, which felt odd. Our server said that dinner service is usually packed. They could improve on a few details, like a clean bathroom, and wiping the menus, but we enjoyed our meals and will be back.

$3 for this tiny container of peanuts that we asked for on an already paid online order

Sad to have to update my review & knock off 2 stars. Something has happened to this establishment that has changed both the food and the pickup experience. The flavor has lacked majorly the last several times we've ordered. My second to last order was missing an item. I attempted emailing & calling to receive either a refund or credit towards my next order with no avail. What was the last straw was being charged $3 upon picking up our online order for this sad tiny little container of PEANUTS ( see picture). $3 is very excessive. I cannot speak for dining service personally, but just from looking every time we pickup our order, the dining customers seem frustrated with lack of service as there's only one person manning everything in the front end. Needless to say, we will be finding a new go-to Thai restaurant for our weekly takeout.

The food was a home run, fresh, served in traditional dishes. They bring the heat so even a medium heat = Thai hot at most places. The only criticism was the service. It took almost an hour for us to get our food. But will go back, delicious.

This Thai Me Up restaurant is it! This place has come up in the period Yelp feed at least a few times in the pat so I had known about its existence but I finally had a chance to utilize it tonight for a quick takeout with my daughter. The moment we stepped inside, Michael upfront wasted no time to greet us. He is a people's person. Some people are naturally good at that; he is definitely one of them. He made us at ease with kindness and compassion. He then assisted us with walking through the menu thoroughly. When my daughter asked him about "substitutions due to some dietary restrictions (allergies) he kindly pointed to the list of alternatives she could choose from. "Excellent customer care and service" doesn't simply describe his above and beyond-ness! Now the food! Massaman Curry (with medium heat) couldn't be any better than this. What impressed us the sweet potato chunks that were perfectly cooked to the core and yet they weren't too soft to the point where they would easily collapse. Other veggies and the protein (meat) were equally portioned. The substitute cashew nuts (instead of peanuts) were plentiful in the curry. Thai cuisine staple, Pad Thai, was also delightful. This was prepared with medium heat so our mouths wouldn't be on fire. The peanuts were, once again, substituted with bamboo. While we were waiting for our food I looked around the store . It's small but has ample seats with tables. Simple interior where it could utilize more decorative items but sometimes simple is good enough. It sure was clean and tidy. This place is solid. After we got our food we went a few doors down to the Rouge (wine and bourbon bistro) to see if we could do a to-go glass of wine. The lady who assisted us saw our food so she asked us what we got. She said she is a huge fan of Thai Me Up as their food is impeccably delicious. Thai Me Up is even supported by its neighbor restaurants.

The staff is so nice and it feels like a breath of fresh air when you walk in. I have been looking for a thai restaurant that I can rave about in the Denver metro area for a long time. The pork egg rolls were crispy hot and delicious served with a sweet sauce, I very much enjoyed them, came with 3 and was perfect amount for an appetizer!! The entree came out and man, when I tell you the pork was crispy and flavorful, I mean that! Very tasty, they all have a heat levels for how spicy you would like you sauce to be, from 1-5, 5 being the hottest, I like a little spice so I went with level 4 which is hot, one behind Thai hot (level 5). The pork was very good and I enjoyed ever bit, the sticky rice was a first for me, I love rice, and do not mind it sticky, it also gave me a little repeat to the heat from the sauce which aloud me to keep going. I did also get the Thai tea which was very delicious a little sweet but perfect for me, and it is a caffeinated drink. Other than that, the staff was very nice and kept our drinks full! Would recommend, I am not local but next time I'm in town I will be back!!

It's run by a married couple, one is from Thailand. They said it was the grand opening and they were offering a cup of rice soup and two wontons. The first thing is the rice soup. I almost cried because it was the exact same taste as I had for breakfast pretty often when I was in Bangkok. When a cup of soup brings up happy memories- I don't think that can be done all the time. Secondly, the decor. It's got Thai artwork on the walls, which adds to the feel of being based on Thai culture, as opposed to a Chinese restaurant that happens to serve Thai curries and a couple noodle dishes if you don't feel like sesame chicken or similar. I tried the Pad Thai since it is a good basis of comparison among Thai restaurants in the USA. It's the best I have found in Colorado. The distinction is that they used tamarind in the sauce, and a tiny bit of fish sauce. This is the right way to go. I don't get that flavor elsewhere but I haven't tried every Thai place in the Denver area. Finally, I spoke with the guy who is one half of the ownership structure, and we shared some stories about trotting around in Thailand. I did not meet the other owner as she was very busy in the kitchen. I walked away thinking that this is my new spot when I am driving by or in the neighborhood.

I liked the people, the place, the menu, the location, but honestly I paid $30 for leftovers that I can't eat. It's a shame. I've never before seen anything this greasy. The owner came out to my car after I exited and asked why I didn't like it. While I respect that, he explained that what appeared as grease was instead, sauce, and that it was flash fried. The problem is that neither the sauce nor grease had taste or spice. When I placed several pieces of beef on a napkin, they saturated the napkin with oil. Maybe it's an oily sauce? They were generous with the beef. The beef quality was pretty good, and the vegetables were unique enough to merit praise. If it were me, I would ramp up the taste quotient in either the marinade or sauce, eliminate 90% of the oil, as it's unnecessary, and add spice. This could be a healthy dish if they used avocado oil, way less oil, and reduced the salt.
