Wonderful Thai food and excellent service highlight my visit to dancing noodle. The restaurant is very small with only a handful of tables inside but was very comfortable with both high tops and some regular tables to choose from. We were directed to sit where we wanted and very quickly brought some lunch menus that differed from the dinner menu, but were told the dinner menu was available. The food was extremely flavorful and came out quickly and was piping hot. The price was very fair and the portion size for both the lunch and dinner portions were generous. TL:DR- a wonderful treat in Parker which has a lack of truly good ethnic food. read more

Dancing Noodle is the best Thai food in Parker by far. It's been a staple of Douglas County takeout for years, and it's because it's literally the best Thai food in the area. They do get busy, especially at dinner, so take your time before leaving to pick up your takeout orders. They have a few dine-in seats, but it's pretty barebones inside, which is fine. We decided to go to Dancing Noodles right after I was picked up from the airport for a late dinner and we were happy with our choice. Everthing came out fast and fresh. You can customize most of the dishes by choosing your heat level (1-5) and your protein. We ordered level 2 heat, which was just perfect for us, with a nice little kick to our palate. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken. We also had the drunken noodles with beef, the Panang curry with chicken, fried rice with shrimp, and a seafood dish. The Pad Thai and the drunken noodles were our favorites because the noodles were flavorful and cooked well. The Pad Thai soaked up the sauce nicely, and the drunken noodles were nice and chewy, although I wish there were more noodles. The fried rice with shrimp was really tasty and had good seasoning. The Panang curry with chicken was just okay for me, nothing amazing but still good. The seafood dish was our least favorite, and we probably wouldn't order that one again. Portions were mostly generous and filling. Service was friendly and quick. The place was clean with a very simple, basic interior. Food was very good, but the service was not. A friend ordered our meal online and I drove to pick it up. They don't have it, and kept asking for the confirmation. I explained several times I didn't order it, I was just picking up. When my friend sent the confirmation screenshot, I showed them and they still claimed not to have the order. Finally, they reloaded their online interface - after admitting they've been having issues - and what do you know... our order appeared. They started making it, but there was no apology, no offer to compensate us. Mistakes happen, but when they do, people need to take ownership. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall just northwest of Parker Rd and Mainstreet. Parking was pretty easy and light shown in from the front windows. We walked in to a smaller restaurant, smaller tables. A waitress told us to sit anywhere and brought over some menus. The appetizers were spring rolls and hot and sour soup with shrimp. The waitress actually brought us two bowls to split the soup, which was nice. Entrées included Drunken Noodles with Chicken and Thai Basil Chicken. You can custom order your heat - it was spot on. The meal and service was fantastic. The walls had a couple of pictures so if you want decor, this might not be the place. But if you want good food, check it out. read more

Shockingly Bad Experience I really wanted to like Dancing Noodle Thai Restaurant, especially after reading so many glowing reviews--but my visit was beyond disappointing. I ordered the mixed veggies with tofu, which came with a side of chicken rice soup. The soup was actually tasty, and at first, the meal seemed fine... until I spotted a tiny worm on my plate, right next to the broccoli. I should have taken a photo but I was absolutely shocked and disgusted. I quietly called the server over and showed her. She apologized and took the plate away--but then came back and still handed me a bill. After serving me a meal with a worm in it. No comped meal, no manager check-in, nothing. Just the check. Unbelievable. To make things worse, while I was waiting for my food, I noticed the walls were filthy, which should have been my first red flag. This place might have good reviews, but my experience was unacceptable. I won't be coming back, and I definitely don't recommend it. read more

I had a hankering for Thai and thought I would try a new place out. Based off YELP reviews, Dancing Noodle was a safe bet! Upon entry, I was underwhelmed. Very small, with no decor. A dead fly was stuck to a chair, that I couldn't stop looking at. Also, if there are a lot of patrons, it could get too close for comfort. However, with that aside, we were greeted very warmly. I ordered the Green Curry (3) and my husband ordered the Panang Curry. My #3 spice wasn't that spicy, should have gone 4. The Green curry was good, but something was lacking. My husband said his Panang was good, but again, something missing. He also noted too many veggies. We did try their combo appetizer, to experience a little bit of everything. I wasn't a fan of the dumpling, but the Rangoon was great! Also the chicken satay was yummy. Will I be back? If I'm in the area maybe, but currently my typical go to Thai restaurant will get my return business first. Food is good yes... I wish they would pick up the pace a little. Every time I order online I give them extra time past their time they say it's ready and every time it's about 30 mins past that time before I receive my order. Tonight I started with 5 stars and as I waited and waited took a star off. People were cancelling their orders left and right. People were coming in and ordering they would get their food before I did and I've been waiting there at least 15 minutes before they got there. Other people waiting noticed this too. This place is perfect for all my Thai food cravings! This place has all the Thai classics and I usually order my favorites: Beef Pad Kee Mao, Som Tum, and Tom Yum! You can't go wrong with any of these dishes but the Beef Pad Kee Mao here is definitely my top choice every time. My partner loves the Thai tea here! The service was quick and very hospitable, our order came out pretty soon after we ordered, and the servers constantly checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed too. The only downsides are that they didn't have fish cakes and I've been really craving those and I also wish their garlic fish was an actual whole fried fish and not fish pieces. There were only 2 tables of people seated and they got served quickly. The restaurant started to fill after I had ordered and I noticed that these new folks ordered and were served while I was still waiting. I asked and was told they make the seated customer orders first. After I watched several more tables get their food I was told it would take another 15 minutes! What?!?! I did ask for a refund but I didn't have a chance to go elsewhere as that was my lunch hour. Incredibly rude. No apologies given. I always eat at Thai places with a hint of skepticism. After my time in the Navy, Thailand is a place I have been to more than once and it's hard to find authentic Thai food that hasn't been overly westernized to suit our salty/sweet obsessed palates here in America. Came in for lunch and the place was empty (lucky for us!). Started with Tom Yum Goong with shrimp (small size). This delicious hot and sour Thai soup is something I have to try at every Thai restaurant I eat at. Most of the time the soup is serviceable but it's not the best (that trophy still belongs to Thai on Main in Seal Beach, CA). This one is good and it hit the spot on a cold day. For lunch, it had to be curry. Green curry specifically for me. Spice level 4 (although I could do 5 with no issues). Wife had red curry with spice level 1 and it still had a nice spice. Curry lunch portions were perfect and delicious. Mix of veggies was delicious and the eggplant was very good. Service was good and attentive without being too in-your face. Lighting was fine and music was low enough to no my be disruptive. Good lunch ambiance. Overall we really enjoyed it and will be back for sure. read more

The service is incredibly friendly and the food is really good. I appreciate the levels of 1-5 of spiciness as well. So many restaurants don't have enough spice or options when ordering. We have tried both the level 4 and level 5 spice and found it to be amazing! They make their own noodles which is all I really needed to know. This will be a consistent take out option moving forward. When we tipped 20% (as we always do) for take out, the lady was so appreciative which makes me worry people aren't tipping for take out. The dining room is quite small, so it can get busy, but the food is worth it! Lunch is such a good deal, you get a small chicken rice soup or 2 crab rangoons with your order! And the serving size is good! I took a little under half of my pad se ew home and had a nice little snack for later! I always get pad se ew at Thai restaurants and Dancing Noodle has one of the best I've ever had. The flavor and the texture of the noodles is just absolutely amazing. I've had pad se ew's where the garlic flavor is just overpowering but Dancing Noodle's just has a perfect combination of salty, sweet, and garlic. You get a choice of protein, and I picked tofu this time around, but I've had their chicken, pork, and vegetables before and I've loved it each time. YUM! This is our favorite go-to Thai spot in Parker. I love Thai food and it's the only thing j want when I'm sick. My husband picks me up some Thom Kha Gai soup and he usually grabs a noodle dish (gravy noodles, drunken noodles, Pad Sew Ew) and there hasn't been a single thing we haven't liked. Ordered two curries (Thai curry and massa curry) and combo app to go. Can't speak for in restaurant service but pickup was quick and easy. The pros : The curries are packed full of stuff. Meat and veggies. Portion sizes are large The cons : Both curries lacked depth of flavor. I ordered a level 5 Thai hot and didn't find my curry to be very spicy. I ordered a combo Thai curry, and received just beef. No shrimp and chicken. The steamed dumpling was not something either of us enjoyed And it's pretty pricey. For the two meals and app combo we spent $60 after tip and tax. I most likely will not be returning but it seems as if many people enjoy it so who knows? Went soft tofu for the entree since my appetizer was crispy. Three stars for spice but wish I went with four or maybe even five. Service was quick and friendly. Saw a lot of reviews mentioning rude employees but they were very attentive during my visit. Not a ton of people inside on a Tuesday afternoon but who doesn't love a good loner date? Fair prices. Good portions. Can't speak for the to go setup but a few people did pick up while I was eating. Lot of regulars so I'm glad to see that this small business survived Covid.
