We were camping at Golden Gate Canyon and decided to find a restaurant for dinner instead of eating leftovers warmed over a fire. This place did NOT disappoint. We love good Thai food. This place has good Thai food. We started with sesame chicken and fresh spring rolls. Both excellent, especially the sauce on the chicken. Then we had a large bowl of Tom Kha. Amazingly creamy coconut broth, with lots of chicken, fresh mushrooms, snap peas. Very rich and delicious. The only complaint I have is the peanut sauce for the spring rolls, it was not very peanuty tasting, and it was a very pale color. We would come back again if we get this way in the future. read more

I'm sorry to say this, the people were very nice, but this is hands down the worst Thai food I have ever had. The food did not taste fresh. The shrimp was rubbery, and it felt like there was very little care or attention put into the dishes. It seems like they stay in business because it is a small town with limited options. Oh, and they charge for parking lol! What a joke! My advice is to go anywhere else. If this is your only choice, don't eat. Seriously read more

We've been to Ubon Thai a few times and find it a pretty-good place for Thai Food when up in the mountains. We ran in from our campground during a rainstorm for dinner recently and got Tom Kha soup, Hot Basil Leaves with Chicken, and Pad See Ew with Chicken. Service is fast and friendly and the setting is old-school Thai decor with pretty goodbooths and tables. The food was okay, and in particular, the noodles were a little too al dente (though they were fine when reheated the next day). read more

This is one of the best Thai spots in the state. Small family owned spot.... The food is absolutely phenomenal. I absolutely recommend the Pad Mei. I have food allergies, so I learn alot about how a place communicates everywhere I go Ordered tofu spicy eggplant. Let the server know no fish sauce or peanuts, which she understood and wrote these down. And then I mentioned please use a freshly washed out pan as I have allergies to chicken and pork and this helps mitigate cross contamination This is always easy at Asian restaurants, doing it in a fresh pan is easy and then I can eat out in spite of my food allergies When she read back my order, she mentioned the peanut and fish allergies but not the part about chicken and pork and using a fresh pan. I explained again that since I have allergies to chicken and pork a freshly washed out pan is important She smiled and nodded, but I wasn't sure if she understood me After eating the meal I got sick, and I'm pretty sure she didn't mention to use a freshly washed out pan, which is so easy read more

They will charge you $45 for parking there, as a customer, if you do not actively seek out how to record your license plate with them. If you are charged by accident, management will direct you to make a dispute claim, but the Florida third-party parking company will not honor that claim and there is no way to contact them. I love the food. My fiancée and I always come here after hiking some of the trails located in Eldora. Also, Whenever we have friends visiting us, we take them on a hike and come here afterwards. It never disappoints, and we always enjoy it here, especially after hiking for hours. We usually get the Red Thai with Tofu, the Lemongrass soup, and fried rice. I highly recommend this place. This gem is located in the Netherlands and serves amazing Thai food and it's want of our favorite places to come and eat. read more

Very happy with my experience at Ubon yesterday. The yellow curry and momos were out of this world good. Hot food, quick and friendly service, and better curry than the #1 curry location in Boulder. People giving this more than 2 stars need to go to more Thai places! Its average, or less... most things lack flavor. The soups are overpriced for the portion sizes and amount of ingredients in them. The lunch specials are so-so. And the service is VERY VERY slow, even when you are the one two people in there. This has happened to us 3 times... only people, still took 20 mins to get food. read more

This place is so sweet in every way. As soon as we walked in the door, we were welcomed by the people who worked there and the space in such a warm way. The menu has all of the items you might crave from a Thai restaurant (and you'll want to try them all!!). The menu items are very well priced and the portions are generous. Thai iced teas can be hit or miss depending on where you go -- make SURE you get it here. Not too sweet but oh so flavorful. Tom Kah is also a must after a day of playing in the snow, and you really can't go wrong with any of the apps or dishes (I haven't tried them all yet, but I'd be surprised if you didn't enjoy your food here). Stopped in today for a late lunch. The food was Ok, the service a bit slow. Maybe it was just a sleepy Saturday afternoon. Ubon is right on the main traffic circle in Nederland, so hard to miss. And unless you head down the canyon to Boulder, this is probably on your short list for dining. And, I forgot my credit card & Ubon mailed it right to me. Thanks guys! read more

Another of the restaurants in Ned that is on our regular "go to" list. While I have had better Thai food in big cities, the food here is good, service is OK. I'd much rather eat here than any of the American food restaurants in town (except Crosscut) because it has flavor. We're lucky to have Ubon up here! After a hike to lost lake my pup and I stopped in for a bite. The waiter was kinda, explained he was busy but still took the time to make me and my pup comfortable on the deck outside. It was clean, friendly, and the food was good. I loved the atmosphere and I felt welcomed and had a good experience as a solo guest. I would come back again, it's a cute place. This is the best restaurant in Nederland and the best Thai food I have ever had in the states. I recommend their homemade momos (delicious), their Tom kha soup (AMAZING) and their mango sticky rice. They serve the best bottomless Thai tea too - a must have! Everything else is delicious too. They are health conscious, well sourced Thai place which is so rare!! Especially in the mountains. Surprised to find Thai food that is good for probably here and majority of the Midwest outside Chicago. The curry was excellent (for US). Pad Thai had a little too much fish sauce. Satay meat was tough and overcooked. Everything run sweet but I noticed that in this area and Denver, everything runs a tad sweet for Asian food. Service was excellent. read more

The food was extremely flavorful and came out quickly and was piping hot. The price was very fair and the portion size for both the lunch and dinner portions were generous. TL:DR- a wonderful treat in Parker which has a lack of truly good ethnic food.

We tried it this evening and liked it a lot. I see why it is so popular. But do know they do not have identical menu items to the Denver locations. This fact did cause me to be disappointed when one of the items arrived at the table. My husband loved it though, as he is a big fan of cream cheese which I am not. I only eat items like NY cheesecake and on bagels with lox. What I wanted to try was the roasted duck dumpling but got the fried wonton with cream cheese and duck. It had a good sauce as well as a slice of mango and a pinch of pea shoots on the top. I do love baby pea shoots and though not what I envisioned, I did eat my portion. The shrimp spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while. I had a hot oolong tea and my husband had a Thai tea. We both liked our drinks which were exactly as we expected. We also had a "small" plate of bbq chicken which was hardly a small thing. A large tasty section of chicken on a bed of lettuce with a side of shredded carrot and cabbage with a very nice sauce. It was perfect for my husband but as I am not allowed chicken skin, it was harder to eat but tasty. Such a bigger serving than we expected, we brought enough home for lunch tomorrow. The staff were friendly, helpful yet not intrusive. The setting was perfect for me and for all as the variety of styles allow for accommodating any needs. Pricing was average for Boulder and more than worth it. We will be back and try more items. Often have lunch with a friend who drives and it will be perfect for that this summer.

Aloy Thai Cuisine is a great spot in Boulder for flavorful, satisfying Thai food. We arrived during happy hour so ordered the pork egg rolls (3 piece) thin flaky pastry stuffed with ground pork, cabbage, carrots, and woonsen noodle, deep fried with sweet and sour sauce and crab wontons (4 piece) cream cheese and crab meat stuffed in wonton shell served with sweet and sour sauce. The pork egg rolls were crispy on the outside with a generous, tasty filling, perfectly fried and not greasy. The crab wontons were a highlight, light, crunchy, and packed with creamy filling, paired nicely with a sweet dipping sauce. I ordered the BBQ chicken entree that is marinated and grilled and served with spicy tamarind or sweet and sour sauce. It came with so many fresh veggies and I loved the tamarind sauce so much I had to order extra. The BBQ chicken was tender and well-seasoned with a slightly smoky, savory-sweet taste that really stood out. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable, great for a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. If you're in Boulder and craving Thai food done right, Aloy Thai Cuisine is definitely worth checking out. It was a very reasonable price point for the quantity of food.
