Vegetable egg roll
Simone R.

I am so excited that this place opened really close to our area. The food is absolutely wonderful and authentic. Each time we have ordered takeout. It has only been a 20 minute wait which is amazing. We have ordered the crab Rangoon, vegetable eggrolls, pad Thai, Tom ka soup and pad see ewe. We ordered everything with medium spice and it was perfect for us as we prefer things a little bit more on the spicy side. My apologies on the quality of the photos... the phone did not eat first

In this cute strip mall West of Arvada you will find this really cute Thai restaurant @sanunthai. The drive is not bad. Its scenic! We went after an eight miler of a hike. Famished and thankful theyre around. They're six months old. We tried a few things and they're all so tasty! Their Panang Curry with Pork is amazing! I ordered it medium level of heat which is perfect. Their Sweet and Sour with chicken was really delicious too! Their Chicken Satay is cut differently and thick. Comes two to an order. The presentation or cut surprised us. It looked like fried bananas! We also ordered their delicious Vegetable Egg Roll. Future tries: cocktails and wines. Featured: CHICKEN SATAY Succulent strips of marinated chicken tender served with aromatic peanut sauce. VEGETABLE EGG ROLL Deep fried wonton wrappers stuffed with cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, and bean thread. PANANG CURRY with Pork Cumin flavor with bell peppers, green beans, cabbage & bamboo shoots in coconut milk. SWEET AND SOUR with Chicken Stir fried with pineapples, bell peppers, carrots, celery, cucumbers, onions and tomatoes in sweet and sour sauce

Fried rolls.. it was very bland

I dined in once and ordered takeout. Dine in experience was a bit slow, but they had just opened and you can tell they are a bit understaffed both in the kitchen and in the dining area. No plates were given when our rolls came out. It was also extremely hot in the restaurant. As for the food, I would not recommend the fried egg rolls, there was barely any filling and it was very bland. The food came out hot and both the pad Thai and shrimp and octopus drunken noodles were delicious in flavor although the noodles in the drunken noodle was a bit too Al dente. Drinks were ok- a bit too sweet. The dine in experience was ok enough for us to try again through take out. For takeout a few weeks later, we ordered chicken pad thai and beef drunken noodles. My husband liked his pad Thai but the drunken noodle flavor wasn't as flavorful as the first time I had it but the part that I didn't like at all was the beef. It was SO tough, I expect the beef to be in a dish like this to be tenderized but this was not. It was so chewy and tough and makes me wary of ordering anymore beef dishes from this restaurant again. I'm hoping they will make a change so we come back, but I disagree with the other reviews that this is the best Thai restaurant.

Food was great. We each ordered a meal and shared. Service was good! I thinks it's a smaller place so our meals came out a few minutes apart but we were fine with sharing one until the second came out.

I wished I had discovered this sooner so it can be my dinner before a show at Red Rocks. Everything…read morewas quite delicious and well done. The presentation is incredible. We loved that everytime we ordered rice, it would come out in a different shape from a flower to Snorlax to a bear. It was a fun what will we get next. The food was delicious. When the curry came out, I was skeptical because the portion was so small but when you eat it with rice, it's a nice combination and you'll get full. The curry is super flavorful. The pad Thai was good but I think I'll opt for the regular pad Thai instead next time. The appetizers were a nice sampler of everything but the chicken satay. We did order the chicken satay and the peanut sauce was so good with it. The larb salad was also super flavorful. The sticky rice mango dessert was also a nice way to end the meal. It's small but the sticky rice was like maybe sweet pea protein or butterfly pea (something that makes it blue). And the Thai iced tea with lime was super refreshing on a summer evening. I liked the decor. Staff is super friendly. From credentials, the chef graduated from a top culinary school in Thailand. We can't wait to come back. It's also only 10 min away from Red Rocks too.

Nestled near Colorado Mills right off of Colfax lies this little Thai gem. I found out about Klom…read moreKlorm from the Crazy Asians Facebook group, touting it was very authentic...so I put it in my calendar and went the next day lol The interior is nicely decorated and seating is arranged so that you have a great view of the open kitchen. I was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, and was shocked at the breadth of the menu!!! They offer so many dishes!!! I was only able to snap a few photos of the menu, but they have a full menu online. I decided on getting 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, and 1 drink. I ended up ordering the fried tofu, pork Pad Thai, and an Iced Thai tea. Fried Tofu appetizer $10 5/5 They fry the tofu for at least 6 minutes (per the owner and chef) which gives the outside this delicious shell that makes the most mouthwatering crunch sound when you bite into it. You'd almost think it was fried chicken! It's accompanied by a sweet and sour peanut sauce that gives the tofu this combination of flavors and textures in the mouth. It's a very playful and delightful dish. Pad Thai Noodles $17 4.5/5 Very authentic, and it lets the sauce do the talking without being overly overpowering. The tamarind is forward and present, not hidden by overt sweetness. It complements the noodles well, which are a nice medium thickness, which are easy to eat without soaking up too much sauce. A *little* bit pricey for my single-person budget, but it's honestly worth the splurge every once in a while! Iced Thai Tea with milk $6 (I got this on the house when I mentioned this group!!!) 5/5 Delicious! They also offer it with a lime juice base! So make sure to specify which base you want, if they don't ask. Final Words: I'm so so happy to have an amazing Thai place in SW Denver!! The menu is extensive, so I'm going to have fun exploring all of the dishes. I loved chatting with the owners, and it's very evident they know authentic Thai cuisine. I'll definitely be adding this to my work lunch rotation!! Please go support them and keep this place busy and thriving!!! Edit to add: they're closed on Wednesdays!

On my search for the best Pho in Denver, I visited Faifo Noodle House last year and got their Beef…read morePho with extra Beef Rib. The broth was deep and aromatic and the portion size, especially with the beef rib, was massive. Everything was so impressive that since that visit, this place has been on my regular rotation for pho. Beside Pho, they have a few other offerings, one of which is rather unique. For the more adventurous, Faifo offers a spicy beef pho. This is a dry-style pho serves with all the fixin' and a spicy sate style sauce that makes for an amazing meal on a hot day. It also comes with a bowl of pho broth for satisfying sips between bites. This is easily one of my favorite dish on the menu and a must try here. Beside that, I've also had their Bun Bo Hue, which is pretty dang tasty. The broth is very tasty, though not as funky or spicy as ones I've had in Vietnam. Nonetheless, it's a mighty tasty bowl and something to get for the colder days here in Denver. Both the Bo Kho and the Banh Canh are also very good as well, though not a must compared to other dishes on the menu. Overall, Faifo is a great Vietnamese restaurant. The value is also tremendous given the portion size. This is an easy 4/5 for me.

Wow, how fortunate are we to find this unicorn of a restaurant that serves bò kho and many…read moreVietnamese staples. Their bò kho definitely reminds me of my father's recipe, which is rich and not overly sweet. This aromatic Vietnamese beef stew is a fragrant broth infused with lemongrass, star anise, and spices. It's a bowl of distinct and complex flavor profile that balances savory, sweet, spicy notes, with a vibrant brick-red color from the annatto seeds. The cuts of beef shank, flank, and chuck were soft so you know they spent hours simmering to achieve this level of tenderness. The deep beef profile is highlighted when adding bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime juice to cut through the richness and carrots provided a natural sweetness to the savory broth. Bánh canh is a Vietnamese noodle soup featuring thick, chewy noodles made from tapioca flour, rice flour, or a mix, served in a flavorful broth with various toppings like pork, shrimp, crab, or fish cake. The broth is clean from the hours of simmering bones to create a savory, collagen-rich base. You can taste the freshness of the soup garnished with fresh cilantro, green onions, fried shallots, lime, and chili oil. Plus you get a boat load of proteins and garnishes - shrimp cake, imitation crab meat, shrimp, quail egg, mushroom, tapioca noodle, onion, cilantro and black pepper. We'll be back and try the bún bò huế and cá ri.
