    Drunken Noodles with chicken.

What a wonderful restaurant with authentic Thai cuisine. We love coming here as the food is made with care and the staff is always welcoming and the restaurant has the friendliest environment. We love the pad Thai, drunken noodle, the ramen bowls and the curries. If mango sticky rice is on the menu order as it's a showstopper! Orders are spiced based on your taste preferences. Also, an Easy place to navigate a dairy allergy.

The Grand Pad Thai is a five star! We've also tried the Ramen and Green curry - good but not great. We are interested in finding more entrees that we love like the Grand Pad Thai dish. The ambience is clean and nice but nothing fancy, it's located in a strip mall. Our server is good, basically a one man operation but no problem there. It's always good to try new Thai places, for how high the ratings are I expected a bit more from the other dishes, but we will try others. If you're a Pad Thai fan then definitely try this place out. Happy eating!

This was is super cute and I believe brand new. I walked in and wasn't greeted right away and practically sat myself down. The service wasn't bad and was pretty fast! There are outdoor seating as well. They do have a bar as well. I got Pad See Ew with Chicken 4/5 and it wasn't bad! My husband said there was a bad odor to it but it didn't smell bad to me. Fried Tofu 4/5 - very crunchy and soft. Really enjoy this app and would get it again.

Amazing food with great service and calming ambiance. We got the dumplings, drunken noodles (mild spice level), and Panang curry (mild). Will definitely be returning.

Pad Thai and crab cheese rangoons

Awkward ambiance, this meal cost me $30!! I got spicy 4/5 and it was spicy. Crab cheese rangoons had no crab. Pad Thai had hardly any veggies, they were out of lime... cook in the back (the lady) yelled at the cash register guy that they were completely out of limes... flavor was meh on the pad Thai. Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. Maybe I'm hangry but I'm so dissapointed by what i received for a $30 meal... I've been to wayyy better Thai food places for a way better price.

We were in Broomfield for some errands and were really hungry. We were hoping to find a good Thai spot (it was Memorial Day and we weren't sure what would be open). We stumbled on Bangkok Avenue on Yelp and had to check it out since it had such good ratings. It was awesome! The owner of Bangkok Avenue was working, and you could tell she is so passionate about her food. She gave great suggestions, she recommended ways to top off the dishes, and she provided such great information. It was so nice to get to talk with her and to try out her amazing recipes. We started with the fried dumplings. Loved how crispy they were, and that they were pan fried. I ended up getting the green curry and loved it. The curry has a good kick (but isn't too spicy) and the tofu we added was the perfect addition. The Grand Pad a Thai was some of the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The flavors were unreal, the chicken paired so well (and we loved the mini tofu bites, and the coconut milk and spices were spot on. We will definitely come visit when we are back in the area!

I met my son for lunch and he loves Thai food so this choice made sense . As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a big smile and a genuine welcome. What I noticed immediately was how clean the place was. I ordered pork pad thai and my son ordered beef drunken noodles. Both dishes were very flavorful and generous servings. Our server was so pleasant and helpful, which I really value. The place was clean, service was outstanding, food was good, generous servings size and reasonable prices. My son and I agreed that we would both be back

We just moved from CA to CO, and I am so thankful that this place is close to our home. It is a very authentic Thai restaurant and I enjoy their food so much that I have eaten here once each week since I have moved here! Everything is yummy, and they even have a ramen menu. I personally love the grand pad thai (it reminds me of a pad thai place I used to go to in San Francisco all the time)- it has the right balance of sweet, savory, and nutty. I also love their mango sticky rice dessert. This place gets a lot of phone orders as well, it would definitely be a perfect to go meal.

You know a place is good when we come twice in a row during vacation!…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I was craving Thai food. As I hail from CA, we have plenty of authentic Thai restaurants to choose from. As such, I was looking for a small, authentic Thai place near Brighton, where the show was being held. Ponsawan came recommended, and I was immediately drawn to this place especially with its namesake. Some of the best Thai places I've been to have "difficult"-sounding names. It was dinner the first time we went, and we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly, and gave us time to peruse the menu. I went with the pineapple fried rice while my husband went with the pork pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice had a lovely wok hei and there were plenty of fresh pineapples as well. I loved the cashews on the side, and the crispy cucumbers. Portion size was perfect. My husband's pad Thai was saucy and tamarind-y. Personally, I prefer a drier pad Thai, but he enjoyed this, I think mainly because of how strong the tamarind flavor was. Our server asked if we wanted to try the mango sticky rice since she said it was mango season, but we politely declined. The next day, we were both craving Ponsawan again, so we came for a late lunch. The owner recognized us and welcomed us back in. This time, we also got drinks and an app. I went with the Thai tea and my husband went with the Thai coffee. Both were not too sweet and a good strength. The app we chose was the dumplings, which were fried to perfection and came with the most delicious dipping sauce. As far as our entrees, I went with the pork pad kee mao and my husband went with the yellow curry fried rice. Our server apparently heard his order incorrectly and gave him the pineapple fried rice, but apologized and was quick to rectify the situation. As such, I received my food first, and had to wait a few more minutes before we could eat together. The pad kee mao had the perfect amount of spice, and the pork was tender. The yellow curry fried rice again had a lovely wok hei and the curry powder was delightfully pungent. Both times we dined, our food didn't take long to arrive at all. I'd say less than 15 minutes for both of our dishes. They had lunch specials, but for the price point of the entrees, it was a no brainer to just order entrees. The food was super affordable and the portion sizes were not skimpy at all. Not huge, but definitely not skimpy. Ponsawan is easily on my favorites list for the Denver area and we will most certainly be back the next time we go to CO! (I will also need to try their curries, so that is a high priority for our next visit.)

We usually order same, a soup and a curry and at times, we order dessert of mango and sticky rice. Most of time the dessert is pretty good, but there are times when the mango is sour and it really turns mee off to ordering it. I have never eaten there, I can't even say, I picked up orders there. It's mostly my husband. I have ordered online and it's very specific, which is nice if you're picky eater. Tasty sauce, just enough heat, tender chicken, onions, carrots and cabbage too. I ate half and brought half home to have as my lunch the next day. My son chose the Pad Thai, mild with chicken. Overall he liked it but it was a bit heavy on the fish sauce. He still enjoyed his meal, but felt he would chose a different dish next time. Our friends all enjoyed their appetizers and entrees.
