The service is totally amazing. I love walking into a place where I planned to enjoy some great food and being acknowledged the minute I walk in the door that's very welcoming. The dining room where we enjoyed our delicious noodles and beef was so elegantly decorated. I plan on going back and getting more pictures as my phone was getting ready to die. I couldn't take pictures but anyways it was a wonderful experience. I plan on going back the gentleman that owned it. I can't say his name, but he was very respectful honorable and explained the meals to us as it was our first time and he saved us quite a bit of money explaining to us that the order of noodles and beef was big portion and that we did not need to order any appetizers, which was wonderful of him to point out. I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time. read more

I heard so many great things about Tu's Kitchen I had to come give them a try. I forgot the name of the place that used to be here and I came here a ton when I worked in the area... I really loved them and their cooking. I used to get the Mi Quang... The service was good and quick and the noodles were decent... restaurant was clean and remodeled when Tu's moved in. The combo pho was delicious and seems to be a good value to the money. Spring rolls were good, nothing to call home for as I'm used to pork and shrimp filling vs just pick one. The upside is for pescatarians not having to deal w meat but I feel like any other Vietnamese place would have pork AND shrimp as a spring roll option. I'm truly bummed for two things, they don't have Mi Quang anymore on the menu since the owner change, when I came here the first time when it became Tu's, the lady said they know how to make it but they don't have it on the menu. Which is ok with new owners.... The second thing is that their bun rieu doesn't have pork blood in it, seems like it's a little bit less traditional than the bun rieu I've gotten from south federal Vietnamese places... they do add the Vietnamese spam in it, maybe because they are in Broomfield and it seemed if I read correctly the chef had a place in Boulder. So I could see them pivot away from the blood but wish there was an option for it. The few times I went the soup was also way over seasoned... I really want to like them but I think I have to go to Denver... this place to me perhaps is catering more to the neighborhood they serve in, which is understandable for business. Dining area is filled with aroma of authentic Vietnamese cuisine further supported by the heritage filled interior. Definitely off the major hustle bustle of near by Flatirons Mall but definitely worth the turn to this hidden gem. This place is more than just another option for PHO as the menu is packed with an abundance of alternative and weather accommodating options. it was pretty good but when we walked in and took a seat to look over the menu for take out, this dude keeps asking every 2 mins. "Ready?!?!?" If I'm ready, I'll let you know I'm ready. Geez!! And they write the order in vietnamese so when I get a receipt, it's the cc receipt that doesn't detail what I bought. I asked the dude for the vietnamese itemized thing for my expense purposes. We stopped in for dinner when my cousin was in town. My parents are super picky so I figured pho was a solid choice. Tu's Kitchen was exactly what I we needed! The food was delicious! We ordered appetizers including cheese wontons, crispy egg rolls, and spring rolls. The crispy egg rolls were my fave. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was also very yummy. I ordered the medium combination pho. Even with my big appetite, I could not finish it! The portions are definitely good sizes. My man ordered their orange chicken and the sauce on that was super yummy! My parents both really enjoyed their combination pho as well. Their broth was solid and there was a lot of meats! This small, family owned restaurant tucked away in a strip mall is nothing short of excellent. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and appreciated. The food we got was some of the best i've had with more so a "pan asian" vibe rather than strictly Vietnamese. My partner and i got 2 appetizers and 2 (big) bowls of pho and the total came out to be less than $50. Anybody complaining about the pricing here has either never dined at a restaurant in a big city or is extremely cheap. Do yourself and favor and put this hidden gem on your "to visit" list. read more

Whoaaaaaa! Never tried this place and thoroughly impressed with portions, presentation, and variety. Lam has good reason to take pride in serving up some tasty veggies and tofu, pho, and curries. What a unique treat to have a server tout the best Vietnamese food, as it seems like no one brags about their chefs anymore. We had a table of 6, ordered mostly vegetarian dishes and absolutely devoured our delights. Everything he recommended was exquisite. My favorite was a crispy tofu with scallions and garlic that we all scarfed up immediately as an appetizer. The tofu crystal rolls with peanut sauce were so yummy too. Food was good but definitely will not be back due to the rude service; not sure if he was a part owner or what, but when we ask if we can order our appetizer first and main course later, he said no, because he is busy ( including our table, there was only two other table with 2 patrons at each table) . Tu's Kitchen is an up and coming Vietnamese restaurant in the Broomfield area, and I would say that of the restaurants located here, it is pretty solid! We decided to swing by Tu's Kitchen on a Friday night around 7pm and were seated promptly for three people. The parking situation is open and easy as it is located in a big shopping plaza near the Great Wall Asian market. Since there wasn't too many too many customers on the day we visited, service was relatively fast. Since Tu's was a new up and coming restaurant in the area, the owners were pretty generous on having us try new appetizers on the house - we were very grateful on this generosity on their part! Just a heads up, the menu is massive - there were probably 100+ things that you can order. We ordered a good variety of dishes to try out what Tu's Kitchen has to offer, which I'll review a couple down below: 31. Combination Rice Plate ($20): This is a very generous rice plate! It will definitely fill you up if you are looking for something hefty. The plate comes with several cuts of meat, some grilled shrimp, an egg, rice, and a small salad. The cuts of meat are seasoned well and tender, you can taste the barbecue/slight lemongrass flavor that usually comes with Vietnamese rice plates. One more thing was that it also came with some crispy spring rolls, which had decently flavored fish sauce in the filling. H. Rare Steak and Brisket Pho ($16 for large): I've had my fair share of Pho in the Broomfield area, and this pho is decent. The broth had a stronger black pepper taste than I'm usually used to for pho. Personal preference - though it was taste was good, I don't think I would go for the pho again here. But if this suits your tastes, go for it. Buddha's Delight ($13): For $13, you get a ton of vegetables, which is great. The sauce is a bit light on flavor, but come on - you probably order this dish to get your intake of vegetables. The vegetables are tender, not too soggy and not raw, and taste good with the coconut sauce. 4. Deep-Fried Pork Dumplings ($8): We actually got this appetizer on this house, which was very generous of the owner and we are very grateful. The dumplings were crispy and the filing was seasoned well. The sauce was advertised as sweet, and it does have a subtle sweet tangy taste. We spent around $75 for everything that you see here, which I think is a good price considering you get a very generous amount of food no matter what you order. I personally think that for this area, this is a very solid option for food. I would definitely like to revisit sometime to try the numerous other options on the menu! read more

Portions were huge, fresh, and delicious! Best papaya salad we've found in CO. Our server was so friendly and attentive, he was patient and helped us with ordering, made suggestions, even reminded us how large portions were so we didn't order too much. When food came out he walked through dishes, made up sauces on the spot for us and told us what we would be good in which. It was an amazing experience. We spent less than $100 for 5 and the table was covered in a massive feast. I don't know anywhere else you can find duck ramen for under $15. We tried 5 entrees, and two "appetizers" and everything was amazing and generous and fresh. Would come back weekly, happily! read more

What a nice hidden gem. Met up with a friend here for dinner tonight. Both of our first time here, so this was great. I got there first and was quickly seated. Was not too busy for a Monday night, which was good for me. The ambiance of the place is nice casual. Bathroom was clean as well as the place. They have a huge menu selection and everything looks very good. We ordered the tofu garlic with eggplant spicy and the catfish and ginger sauce. The fish platter came out first. Don't let the presentation disappoint you. The catfish dish is very good and is as described. The fish is perfectly crispy and the vegetables perfectly cooked and paired with the fish. Light sauce at the bottom of the dish that you can lightly drizzle over the catfish when you take some portion onto your plate. The tofu eggplant then came out. Looks very delicious and spicy, but I didn't really taste any spiciness at all. It's unnoticeable, but that's just me since I love spicy. Lol The flavor of this dish is delicious. We made two great choices for dinner. The dishes were distinct and flavorful in its own way. Nothing was overly salted or too much sauce. We very much enjoyed dinner. 4.5 rating So far this is probably the best Pho Ive had in Colorado & Broomfield has a lot to choose from- a lot that ive tried. The place is small but nicer than most Vietnamese places. The meat in the Pho was very tender, it's definately the best I've had so far. As far as the broth goes, I can't decide which is my favorite between this place and one other- they are both really good. The price at this place is a little bit higher than most but I think it's worth it. Overall I'm really happy with this place, I'm glad I found it. This place is my new favorite & I look forward to further exploring their menu. The service is really good, they are really nice. I will definitely be back and I do recommend this place. This place is exactly what you are picturing. Allowing the food to be the star on display. And there is no lack of options with over 100 menu items. I ordered the duck soup, which was delicious. The portion size was huge and the duck was unbelievably tender. Thai basil, bean sprouts, and lime were brought out to have with the soup. I would have preferred a thicker, more tender noodle in the soup, than the thinner wonton-like noodle, but personal preference. Service was efficient and sweet. We were in the Denver area to visit my in laws relative. He took us here to get traditional Vietnamese food. We weren't sure what to expect in Denver but we were surprised. It gets my stamp of approval as authentic Vietnamese! To start off their spring rolls are solid, filled with tons of meat/shrimp. As far as entrees, we had the bun bo hue, the broth was very flavorful, we had the bo luc lac and the meat was so tasty, and finally we had the vermicelli with bbq pork and egg rolls. I was in Denver visiting family and had lunch at Tu's Kitchen. They have an extensive menu of appetizers, pho, soups, and noodle platters with a good selection of vegetarian options. I finally landed on the oxtail curry soup. It was hands down one of the best soups I've ever had. The broth was multidimensional in flavor with a rich curry base. The beef was the perfect combination of lean and fatty cuts which melted in my mouth. Paired with fresh herbs and a generous helping of noodles, this soup didn't require any additional hot sauce or other condiments. The restaurant is cozy and has a home style feel. Best Vietnamese food I've ever had, hands down. The pho broth is amazing and the portions were HUGE. I got chicken pho and added vegetables. The chicken wasn't chewy like most places around here, and the vegetables were cooked and seasoned. The Vietnamese noodle combo bowl came loaded with so much meat that was cooked perfectly and came with a huge container of fish sauce. The spring rolls - incredible. This recently opened restaurant has a sister location in Boulder, which I had stopped visiting years ago due to the terrible service I always received there. However, I am glad that didn't stop me from trying this one in Broomfield. Not only was our waiter extremely friendly, but the food was also amazing. I went with a small group of friends, and we tried various dishes, all of them very flavorful (although we didn't order any Pho). For starters, the fresh spring rolls (we got ours with tofu) served with peanut sauce were perfect. But the dish that impressed me the most was the Tofu Butter Garlic, very crispy cubes with a melting tofu heart. I have no idea how they achieve this contrast in texture, but it's amazing. It could be a great appetizer to share (which is what we did) or a meal by itself. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and the menu offers a vast selection of Vietnamese soups and salads, along with traditional Pho, curries, stir-fry and clay pot dishes. I enjoyed a generous portion of Tofu Garlic with Eggplant and I'll have to return soon to try they other delicious specialties. Every dish, generous in portion size, has a great balance of flavors. It's clear to me that the kitchen prepares everything with love. My vegan wife also really loves their food. Don't be shy about asking for vegetarian dishes to be made vegan. The service is always friendly and quick. The chef often comes out to the dining room to confirm what a guest wants or to simply thank his diners. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met.
