So we were curious about this pho spot at the same plaza as Kaluka. It's bigger than I thought. They were definitely short staffed the night we came. Near the front of the restaurant were small seats but each were occupied with people waiting for their to go order. The tables were not cleaned right away so we had to wait for them to clear a table for us. Service is friendly and they were doing their best. Food was pretty average. The appetizer sampler was nothing special. Just a bunch of items deep fried. While the pho had plenty of meat, the broth was weak for me. I like a strong pho aroma and when we walked in, we could smell it. But sadly it didn't reflect in the pho broth. Overall, just an average spot for us. read more

Hot Pho looks a bit dingy from the outside, but the interior is much more modern. We all ordered the veggie pho with vegetarian broth, and it tasted quite good, although the bowls were surprisingly light on broth. This was made worse when the server spilled part of one bowl while bringing it to our table and didn't offer to replace the lost broth. That said, the service was otherwise friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, it's a decent restaurant, but a bit more attention to portion size and follow-through would make the experience even better. read more

This location is easily accessed being a half a mile off of 36 West heading South towards 93rd Ave take 93rd and go left on Eaton St turn right on W 92nd Ave up approx. .2 mi and turn left into the shopping center restaurant is straight ahead. There is handicap parking right in front. I selected this highly rated location via Yelp of course wanting it to be perfect for my family's introduction to Pho. We were warmly greeted and seated right away there is a lot of seating tables, provided menus and took our drink orders. This was a family get together and we were from So. California where we have had Pho often at our favorite place. This was a first introduction to Pho for the rest of the Denver family. We all pretty much ordered the chicken Pho which is our staple at home. The Pho came out steaming hot, living up to their name, with all the usual fixens (Basil, Jalapeno and bean sprouts). I proceeded to explain to the family on their preparation options. I had ordered the large serving with extra chicken and it came exactly as I asked. The Pho broth was very flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken was breast meat which was a little dryer as breast meat I and healthier as we were used to thigh meat. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it came with rice noodles. I sometimes at home order the glass noodles but I did not see that option on the menu. Most people prefer the rice noodles. The meal was fantastic just like at home; it was almost like they had received a call from our home location providing them the same recipe. My family loved the meal and now have a location, which is close to one's house, to have great Pho! The restaurant was simple quiet and clean; I always try to peek into the kitchen which I found very organized and clean. The bathroom was clean and had a clean odor. Chicken pho was average. Average amount of pieces of shredded chicken, average noodles in so-so broth. The sesame chicken looked and tasted kind of like it was from a bag, like frozen pre prepared. The sesame chicken sauce was like bright red like almost sweet-and-sour sauce. Very strange. Obviously highly processed. Not good. The whole place is really dirty. The bathroom walls and door were super filthy, like they've never ever been cleaned. If the bathrooms are that dirty, I wonder what the kitchen looks like. Gross. read more

They are open late and we were hungry.Our friends were in town from Pueblo so they are excited to eat pho when they come. It was our first time in. They were busy and we were hungry so we ordered a lot of food; so glad we did! We got spring rolls, A bahn mi, and two bowls of pho. We got the ox tail and they got a combo. The spring rolls were so good! The meat was flavorful and lots of herbs were present. The pho broth was flavorful and the ox tail was decent. The bhan mi came home with us, but we ate it later that night. We were so happy to eat their delicious food for the second time in one night. The service was a 3, guessing because it was busy. Loved that they have vegetable broth for the pho and nice vegetarian options. When I went in to pick up my order earlier than they told me I was greeted before I even took a step in with a giant smile and a water since my order wasn't ready yet. Hot Pho is by far the best Pho place around! The food is phenomenal! Huge portions. Honestly the absolute best fried rice on the planet. Still waiting to get that recipe. Ambience is great! It has been awhile since I have been to a Pho restaurant that had something that I have not had before because they all seem to be pretty much the same, the main difference is the staff. This place has something new and it is good if you like spicy. The Hot Pho Special Spicy Brisket is awesome. I was joking when I saw the name of this place I foolishly said "who eats cold Pho?". I didn't know that Hot Pho was the name of the best Pho I have ever had. While they don't need to excel in customer service because they have something to differentiate themselves already, they excel anyway. Very friendly staff. PS Sorry no photos of the Hot Pho. Stumbled upon this place around 8/2020. I was surprised by previous poor reviews (though it looks like this place is now under new management). Was disappointed with all the other nearby pho restaurants. Glad we took a leap of faith and gave this place a shot. Since then, we have been coming back weekly (at the very least.) The spicy brisket pho is a must try- P2 on the menu. The broth is different than the standard pho broth. I'm a creature of habit, so I always order pho, I have not tried the other dry noodle or rice dishes. This restaurant has been consistent on quality and flavors (many pho places water down their broth.) Great authentic pho. We're visiting from LA and the 626 area, well-known hubs for asian food, and Hot Pho really hit the spot when we were getting a little restless from eating mainly American cuisine here in Denver. I read the negative reviews. People are upset by the lack of service and bad veggie broth. But you don't go to an authentic pho place for the service (everyone was perfectly friendly with us) and we got the beef pho so we can't speak to the veggie broth. But first taste of the broth made me smile. The medium size was a generous portion of noodles and meat, which I usually find noodles to be not enough. I was originally asking for a small size and extra noodles, but shop owner recommended the medium for more noodles and meat. Glad I listened! He even gave us this really yummy spicy sauce for our meat too. Overall, this place is as authentic as you can get for traditional beef pho. We didn't order other items, so my review is strictly for the pho! Highly recommend. read more

A great little spot! Good parking, friendly service, and inexpensive yet delicious food. I was pretty surprised how quickly we got our food! We got the pork egg rolls, it came with four small egg rolls but they were quite tasty and exactly what we were craving. I got the kids pho as I wasn't too hungry, I didn't realize it only came with broth, noodles, and chicken but it still hit the spot and was yummy. My husband got the sesame chicken which was amazing! I was surprised at how big the portion was- lots of chicken, a huge scoop of rice, and some veggies on the side. I think our total bill after tip was only about $25 which was great for the amount of food we got. Although we aren't from Denver, I would definitely see us being regulars here if we were. read more

If you love spicy, you'll definitely love this place! Most pho places that offer "spicy broth", they use bun Bo hue broth but here they actually use a spicy pho broth. The portions are humongous. I ordered their spicy brisket pho with hot broth and added meatballs that was delicious! Different from most places because the brisket was marinated on the side. The customer service is phenomenal! Let me preface this by saying I have high standards for pho as a Vietnamese American... I was shocked at how good this pho is. I've never seen a "spicy" pho on the menu before, so had to try it. This place has new ownership... and they are learning. I've been here over a dozen times and I can see improvements with each visit. I know many wrote about slow and delayed service. They had a hard time hiring help. Where is the compassion for the timing? The inside of the restaurant is simple and there isn't much to see. The service can be a little slow at times. However, the food is memorable. This is seriously the best broth I've had in years. While many pho houses have turned to powered mixes to make the broth, Hot Pho still makes it with bone broth! Seriously! It's authentic broth! They are a family owned business- classic mom and pop. There are some days that are better than others and they recently hired more help. It's places like this that I want to thrive especially with the pandemic making things even harder. They try so hard and you can tell. Be patient- it's worth the wait! Also- if you order to go- the packaging is better than anything I've seen! Yes there's an up charge but look at how much packaging there is and how easy it is to make at home. Came here because my cousins said it was the best pho he's had. Maybe it was super hyped up by him. But it was okay. It wasn't the best. But it wasn't the worst I had. The people that work there are so sweet and always take such amazing care of us, my boyfriend and I live right across the street and make it a point to come as much as we can. The waiter was incredibly rude to us. We came in (2 moms with 2 babies), there was only 1 other customer in there. The older waiter acted from the start like we were offending him with our presence. Food was ok, price was great- but don't bother with this place. The other mom gave him a low tip and his behavior got even worse. I gave a 20% tip because babies make a mess. This is the best place for pho that I have found around Westminster. The broth actually stands on its own. Everywhere else I have tried, the broth tastes as if it's been watered down. Not here. My husband and I ordered out from this place and it was awful. I ordered the combination bowl (bun dak biet). The meat was obviously charred and the two shrimp were so over cooked they were reduced to smaller than a marble. As if this wasn't bad enough I found the real hair in my bowl. It was awful!!!
