The people rating this place badly are clueless. This is really, really good Vietnamese food and I say this as someone who lives in Houston and knows good Vietnamese. They do everything the right way and everything is fresh and flavorful. For a change try the spicy Hue style beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue), with thicker, chewier noodles and a really spicy, flavorful broth. People complain about the service a lot but for me it's just standard "Asian restaurant" service. Kind of blunt and no frills but not bad in my experience unless they're insanely crowded (which they do get sometimes, for good reason). read more

Top tier Pho - Just down the street from my home which is great. One of my favorite spots and I am serious Pho fan. Pho is actually a healing meal for me in many ways. Service is quick and they are super friendly cool owners and staff. I also like that they are mindful of how much salt they put in their Pho. The Pho flavors and ingredient quality is excellent. (great cuts of beef and fresh sprouts and plenty of mint) Location is clean and well kept. Nice music or football game on TV too if you didn't bring your phone. Pho is pho. You can't really mess that up, with that being said the food was decent. The service was not. The server sat us at a table that had something sticky on the table top, when asked if we could have a wet rag to clean it the server had an attitude. He then waited about 15 minutes before asking us for our order, 15 minutes doesn't seem bad, but there were only 2 other customers in there, and he was literally just standing at the register. I ordered the pho with white chicken meat. It came with some basil, bean sprouts, limes, and a couple sliced jalapeños. I have become a pho-natic. Pho real. :) To round out my weekend - I stopped here with Chelsey F to sample "the best pho ever". It did NOT disappoint. Here's why: FOOD: so so so good. Literally the best broth I've tasted. Full of flavor, yet mild enough to not need intense additions. Although I pile my pho high with sprouts, limes and fresh basil. Portions are HUGE - and while I opted for a small, Chelsey and her husband ordered medium sizes, which were large and full. Only downside? I didn't have as many noodles as I would have liked, but that didn't take away from it's deliciousness. We also noshed on the fried egg rolls which were to die for, and fresh spring rolls. MMMM! SERVICE: super fast, friendly and gets the job done. Our waters were constantly filled, and food was brought out promptly. They provide you with the bill at their counter, so you can fully enjoy the meal and come up when you're ready. PRICES: insanely reasonable for all you get. my small order was just $7.25, which was perfect! filling and cheap! ATMOSPHERE: exudes a feeling of upscale without the snootiness, and is relaxed. beautiful art adorns the walls from various parts of Vietnam, Japan and more, creating the perfect blend of cultures. We sat, ate and talked for a good hour and a half, and didn't feel like we were taking up too much time. it's easy to sit back and relax here. I've been to Pho 7 lots of times in the past, for several years, and was VERY, VERY disappointed in their service we received last night. Our party consisted of 15 people, including 5 of my grandchildren. We were placed for seating fairly quickly for our large party, which I was very grateful for. We did not get water for 25 min, AFTER we were seated, 2 menus for 10 adults, which obviously took ANOTHER several minutes to look at menu. It then took another 20 min to get our order taken. Not one time after small glasses of water were poured, they NEVER came around to refill, nor did they come by to see if we needed anything. No napkins, not enough utensils, NO WATER, not even a check in to see if we received everything. We ordered 2 Vietnamese coffees that NEVER came! I should have went with my instinct and stayed @ Vietnamese Cafe until we were able to be seated, even after being told the wait was 45-50 min. You get what u pay for. Pho was super salty, glasses of water are pretty much child sized, and the service was HORRIBLE! I will discourage ANYONE from going here, and choose another Pho place where at least you'll get water and BETTER service! read more

This is my go to "regular" pho joint. I'm here at least once a week and the food and service is consistently good. Is it the best place in town no, but they deliver a decent product for a reasonable price. It's very similar to any other noodle house but their broth is only about an 8 out of 10 and they are stingy with the noodles. This mean I have to order a large where I would order a medium everywhere else. The noodle and rice bowls are pretty good too but I usually go in after a hot bowl of pho. read more

It didn't have that sweet, deep broth-y flavor that you usually look for. However, they were quite generous with the amount of meats and garnish in the box. Only reason it's 3 stars is because they get visually mad at you for not leaving a tip acceptable to their standards when you pick up the food... I'm the one picking it up. I don't tip at McDonald's... so my 2-3 dollar tip for picking up the food should be more than enough for you. read more
