    Vietnamese coffee

Vn PHO is a gem of Firestone. The perfect spot for a warm meal this winter. Whenever the temperature drops this is my go to spot. The folks here make great rice plates too! My usual order is the P2. pho with beef flank and brisket (add some shrimp), with a side of shrimp/pork spring rolls. Along with some delicious Vietnamese iced coffee, Phin filter drip-brewed right at your table! It's one of my favorite meals.

Very small amounts of meat with food, beef springs rolls were pathetic especially compared to their pictures online.

Small restaurant but busy. Will update after trying food. Menu is larger than seen online. Be back after taste...

When the temperature drops and a shiver of fall is in the air, where do you go?! ++ VN PHO!! If your tummy is grumbling and needs something yummy, where do you go?! ++ VN PHO!! Craving some pho and cheese wontons too, where do you go?! ++ VN PHO!! Enough with the rhyming. You get the picture. Having popped by VN Pho 3 or 4 times now, I can easily say they're as good as it gets! They're incredibly consistent, delicious, and friendly. I usually get the rare steak pho and crab cheese wontons - perfection! I think my only complaint is that the sweet and sour dipping sauce for the wontons is just a little on the runny side and lacks a little something in flavor. That being said, their delicious pho broth more than makes up for it! It is mouthwatering delicious. IYKYK, their broth is rich and flavorful every time, the meat is tender, the jalapeño is fresh, and the noodles don't clump together in an impossible to separate fashion. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but is rarely packed. Seems like they have a large to-go customer base, as they were a little behind on orders the last time I was in. I can't hold their popularity against them. They truly are delicious! Did I mention their prices are on point? Well, they are! My small rare steak pho, Thai iced tea, and half order of crab cheese wontons is always under $20. Yay! Nothing but love for VN Pho, and know I will be back.

Majority of Pho in NoCo has been salty & bland. Since then, I've tried at least 5-6 places already that serve Pho...and I'm going to say...this is a Top 3 in CO, #1 in Loveland (per my taste buds). Here at PBM, there's balance issue in pho broth. I'm looking & savoring the backbone slow-simmered beef richness (usually from marrow bones, oxtail, brisket), with aromatics like star anise, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon acting more like background notes--not the main show. Maybe it was an off day, which that would be good...that would give me hope that the broth is being made in-house! I will come back again, in hopes that PBM will validate being THE BEST in Loveland!

The staff are incredibly friendly, and you can tell it's a family-owned and operated spot. It's simple and unpretentious--no pretenses, just good food. The flavors are bold and comforting. I ordered two dishes: braised beef brisket and beef stew with wontons. The braised beef was the standout for me--sweet and savory in perfect balance, with meat that melted in your mouth. The beef stew with wontons was delicious as well; the beef was tender, and the broth was clean, rich, and refreshing--great comfort food for a cold Colorado day, or any day. My wife tried the chicken pho. The broth was smooth and revitalizing, and the chicken meat seemed freshly hand-pulled. She enjoyed it immensely. From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!
