This is my before and after picture of my plate! I didn't want to leave one bite unbitten!

The vegan food is delicious. It's rare to find a restaurant serving this type of food. The day I was there I got to talk to the owners about the business and the food. If you are into compassionate cuisine AND tasty food you should give Lotus Moon a try.

We love this place! We always stop here when we go to or through Boulder! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and comfortable. We also love the dog friendly patio!

The Pho was delicious! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant and take the family for a scrumptious meal! The waiters was very kind and it had excellent service, I'm a very pleased customer! It's a clean and cool venue, definitely could birth, future genius business endeavors!

We're from Orange County, the capital of Vietnamese food, therefore the bar is pretty high when it comes to pho for us, let alone vegan pho :) But we're definitely impressed with Lotus Moon! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for the food, service, cleanliness and location. Most of their dishes are made from scratch. Yummmssss

Great veggie bahn mi--I crave the lemongrass tofu one a couple of times a month. The vegan pho is so yummy, as is the mango sticky rice.

Worth the drive from Denver. Love the pho and curry and I can't wait to make the trek back. Great customer service and Tweety is a doll.

And...WOW am I glad she found this place! Phenomenal Vietnamese cuisine! Fresh, authentic and a great variety on the menu. Our family has traveled in Vietnam for over a decade so we're pretty picky when it comes to Vietnamese food. Boulder Pho definitely checks all the boxes as the real deal. We had a variety of appetizers and entrees. All of which we scarfed down so fast that we didn't get pictures of. Here's the rundown: Appetizers: Vietnamese Spring Rolls - fresh & delicious! Pork Dumplings - fried PERFECTLY & so tasty. Pork was seasoned so well & the dumpling was crisp. Entrees: Grilled Pork & Vermicelli Noodles - I felt like I was eating a bowl of Bun Cha on the streets of Hanoi. Simply Phenomenal. Beef Pho - Hot, delicious & mouthwatering. Deep Fried Noodle w/ Chicken - A sleeper on the menu but everyone in the family loved it! On top of the amazing food, the service was top notch. Friendly & attentive. They even gave my daughter a free Ramun soda as we were leaving, wishing her a Merry Christmas. Great food. Friendly service. Good prices.

When we looked at the menu, we were very taken back by how expensive a regular bowl of pho was ($16-18 for a regular size). Not to mention, this was the first time we experienced a Pho restaurant not having any hanh dam so we were surprised. For context, my friends and I are used to the Vietnamese food scene in Houston so we're aware that we're pretty spoiled. This is the following list of items that were ordered: - Pho Dac Biet The soup game was unfortunately weak. It tasted pretty watered down and lacked flavor. Meat and noodles were fine though! - Goi Cuon (Shrimp and Pork) The Goi Cuon itself was decent but the sauce was... interesting. It was almost too sweet, my friend even mentioned that it had a slight hint of coconut which I was able to taste as well. I'm not sure if people in Boulder do Vietnamese food differently but the sauce was personally not for me. - Passion Fruit Green Tea w/Boba This was just okay. The boba and passion fruit seed was good. We were also able to taste the tea but it had an interesting aftertaste to it. I do appreciate the staff members and their hard work! Not to mention, most restaurants close so early in Colorado but this one is open until 11 PM on weekends!

The difficulties with are in my previous reviews. Now much of the facility has been torn down and the ongoing construction of the space to be city staff offices and the bigger space to be affordable housing had become impractical to use or eat at the restaurant. The noise was deafening. In January they moved to a food court on the Hill. This is a lower level of a building with other tenants. There are about 6 food kitchens and each time I have been here this summer and fall, this is the busiest at lunch. Since the seating is communal there is always space and it is clean. The staff here have been really nice. If I'm preparing a meal at home or supplementing leftovers, I have stopped by to get a fave vegetable, baby bok choy, steamed and seasoned and at an affordable side dish price. Today my husband and I walked down for lunch and ordered the Tuesday special street crepes some of the owners have continued from the long gone first owners from Beijing. As with other succeeding owners, they too have continued to use lettuce rather than the bok choy in the crepe. It also has some ham, scallions and crispy wonton bits and a nice spread of hoisin. It is topped with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds that I love. Another difference from the original is that the ingredients of the crepe itself are not well mixed together so many large patches of separate egg white and yolk makes it harder to hold together and not as pretty. But it tastes just fine but original years ago was addicting. I will continue to come here try more of the food from the current owner. I love beef noodles and have 2 other places I can get a good version but this is the most walkable for me. They do very nice prep for takeout which is good too. At lunch it is busy with CU affiliated students, staff and faculty alike. Every item I have had at Flower Pepper is hand made and prepared for the customer.
