This is my before and after picture of my plate! I didn't want to leave one bite unbitten!

The vegan food is delicious. It's rare to find a restaurant serving this type of food. The day I was there I got to talk to the owners about the business and the food. If you are into compassionate cuisine AND tasty food you should give Lotus Moon a try.

We love this place! We always stop here when we go to or through Boulder! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and comfortable. We also love the dog friendly patio!

The Pho, and a vegan brownie for Dessert.

The Pho was delicious! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant and take the family for a scrumptious meal! The waiters was very kind and it had excellent service, I'm a very pleased customer! It's a clean and cool venue, definitely could birth, future genius business endeavors!

Menu

We went last night to this newly opened restaurant, offering vegan Vietnamese dishes with tasty protein substitutes. We enjoyed spring rolls, pho, and a chicken style dish, all with accompanying sauces and made by a Vietnamese chef. Spice was mild, we added heat when we wanted it. Sticky rice with mango for dessert was excellent with ripe and soft mango.

Vegan pho

We're from Orange County, the capital of Vietnamese food, therefore the bar is pretty high when it comes to pho for us, let alone vegan pho :) But we're definitely impressed with Lotus Moon! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars for the food, service, cleanliness and location. Most of their dishes are made from scratch. Yummmssss

Great veggie bahn mi--I crave the lemongrass tofu one a couple of times a month. The vegan pho is so yummy, as is the mango sticky rice.

Worth the drive from Denver. Love the pho and curry and I can't wait to make the trek back. Great customer service and Tweety is a doll.

I needed something simple, shall we say. Not spicy, before going to the Shakespeare Festival. We'd…read morenever gone to May Wah, but the reviews looked promising, and they serve Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai food. It was empty when I arrived. The man who greeted us was very nice and accommodating. More people arrived as we sat, including a woman who, it turned out, was also going to the Festival. I was choosing between Shrimp with Vegetables on the Chinese menu and a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Chicken and Eggroll. I went with the Vietnamese Bowl. My friend got the same only with shrimp. Both were delicious! There is a mild spice on the grilled chicken and it seemed like it might be the same one on the shrimp. I tasted hers. Delectable. And both were tender. The eggroll was nice and crunchy. The noodles were good. I would have liked more vegetables, and we both asked for more sauce. Not sure why they don't give more to start with. At other restaurants, I've always been served with enough sauce from the beginning. But he brought more of it promptly when we asked. I could only eat about half of mine. Because it was room temperature to begin with, hopefully the leftovers are OK having sat in my car for hours! The decor was nice. Tile on both the floor and walls. My friend really liked the walls and told the gentleman that he'd made a good choice! It all looks clean and cared for. I will go back. Hope you go, too! There are several restaurants in the shopping center there at Baseline and Broadway. May Wah is in the southern section, facing north.

The food is consistently exceptional--fresh, flavorful, and prepared with the kind of care and pride you only find in a family-run establishment. Every dish tastes like it was made just for you. The wait staff is warm, attentive, and wonderfully personable. They remember faces, preferences, and make every visit feel like coming home. The owners are just as welcoming, and the incredible female owner who runs the restaurant sets the tone for the entire experience. Her hospitality, work ethic, and genuine kindness radiate through every part of the business. You can feel her influence in the quality of the dishes, the smoothness of the service, and the heart of the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is quaint, spotless, and comfortable--an inviting place where you can enjoy a delicious meal and an easy, enjoyable conversation. After three decades of dining here, I can confidently say that the consistency, warmth, and outstanding food keep me coming back time and time again. A true local treasure.

However, there were people sitting on their outside patio. Hardy folks, I guess! My friend was nursing a sore tummy, so she just had some grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. She loves everything she's had here. It was my first time. I ordered the chicken bowl with yakisoba noodles. It was lukewarm, but that's fine for me. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!
