Food was amazing! We got the spring rolls, they are very crunchy with an amazing peanut dipping sauce; the spicy brisket pho, and the brisket & tendon pho, both are amazing with the aroma of the broth with very generous portions. They also have a wide selection of condiments and their own homemade chili oil! We ended off our meal with their fresh sugar cane juice and the taste took us back home with how good it is! The service was impeccable and I love seeing the whole family working together! Ambiance is very nice with a very homestyle family resturant feel as well! Minus one star because they charged us a credit card fee when we used a debit card which was odd.

Came to Boulder to visit my couzos and was looking for a viet place that didn't require a drive to Denver. Yelp didn't have much reviews on this place but decided to give it a try anyways. Coming from the Bay (NorCal) and being ABC, I didn't expect much. The owner is soo nice!! I asked him if he had bun rieu (crab pork noodle soup, not listed on menu) cuz i like bun over pho and surprisingly he did!! He said he can make it for me from the freezer and o.m.ggg.. sooo good! i could taste the actual crab flavor! My bowl had meatballs (mix of real crab and pork), pork knuckle, cha lua, and I also got shrimp paste on the side! Owner said he wants to update his menu to include bun rieu, bun bo hue, and mi quang in the future... i'd def come back if I visit boulder in the future. His bun rieu is better than some I've had in the Bay Area! Pho broth was yumms too. The restaurant itself is spacious (can seat several big groups of 10+ if needed) with good vibes and the usual viet decor that I am used to, also lots of condiments on each table including sriracha, fish sauce, and chili sauce. Milk tea was good too, jasmine, I personally would skip the boba tho... not the texture I prefer and not as flavorful. If you want authentic viet noodle soup in Boulder, this is a good spot! This is my first Yelp review ever loll cuz I think ppl needa know about this place when visiting Boulder!

Best pho in Boulder by far! Been waiting for a place this good for a while. Seems like a family run place with a real authentic experience. The pho broth is super clean and filled with flavor.

Came in at noon, got seated right away. Service was top notch and the pho was great! Pho is assembled in the kitchen right next to you, so you can watch them if you're interested. Table has all the condiments so that's a plus. I was just in Vietnam so I had to order a sugarcane drink, I'm glad I did. I will be coming to this location every time I'm in Denver or Boulder Colorado.

Incredible broth. Plenty of meat. I usually get "large" when there are sizes, but their one size is great. Sugar cane drink is bomb.

The man who greeted us was very nice and accommodating. More people arrived as we sat, including a woman who, it turned out, was also going to the Festival. I was choosing between Shrimp with Vegetables on the Chinese menu and a Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Chicken and Eggroll. I went with the Vietnamese Bowl. My friend got the same only with shrimp. Both were delicious! There is a mild spice on the grilled chicken and it seemed like it might be the same one on the shrimp. I tasted hers. Delectable. And both were tender. The eggroll was nice and crunchy. The noodles were good. I would have liked more vegetables, and we both asked for more sauce. Not sure why they don't give more to start with. At other restaurants, I've always been served with enough sauce from the beginning. But he brought more of it promptly when we asked. I could only eat about half of mine. Because it was room temperature to begin with, hopefully the leftovers are OK having sat in my car for hours! The decor was nice. Tile on both the floor and walls. My friend really liked the walls and told the gentleman that he'd made a good choice! It all looks clean and cared for. I will go back. Hope you go, too! There are several restaurants in the shopping center there at Baseline and Broadway. May Wah is in the southern section, facing north.

They have lunch specials, so your meal comes with rice (which I don't like) and an egg roll with soup. it doesn't come with the soup though unless you dine in? I asked if I could just substitute the soup for the rice and it was like their brains couldn't calculate that request. It was simple. I HAD to dine in for it. Anyway makes no sense I didn't eat there looked nice though.

However, there were people sitting on their outside patio. Hardy folks, I guess! My friend was nursing a sore tummy, so she just had some grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. She loves everything she's had here. It was my first time. I ordered the chicken bowl with yakisoba noodles. It was lukewarm, but that's fine for me. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!
