Still trying to find an Asian food spot in Longmont that is better than "ok". However, this is most def not it. Singapore rice noodles were good. Solid execution of this $15 noodles. Mandarin "Spare Ribs" were not ribs, not even close. It is chopped pieces of pork deep fried and sauced. There were a couple with flat bones because of the weird cut. I can get past the cut but the flavor was way "off". I had to throw the entire container into the trash ($$$). Glad they were doing a brisk business! It's not easy. read more

It's a no for me. Pho was lack luster with minimal veggies and watered down broth. The ambience was off putting, dirty walls, dirty chairs, stained table mats. The staff are incredibly friendly, and you can tell it's a family-owned and operated spot. It's simple and unpretentious--no pretenses, just good food. The flavors are bold and comforting. I ordered two dishes: braised beef brisket and beef stew with wontons. The braised beef was the standout for me--sweet and savory in perfect balance, with meat that melted in your mouth. The beef stew with wontons was delicious as well; the beef was tender, and the broth was clean, rich, and refreshing--great comfort food for a cold Colorado day, or any day. My wife tried the chicken pho. The broth was smooth and revitalizing, and the chicken meat seemed freshly hand-pulled. She enjoyed it immensely. The pho was great. The service was hectic but good--very family run, so expect some chaos with little kids helping out. The combination noodle bowl was disappointing. The meat did not seem grilled and the beef was thinly sliced like they used pho meat in the combo bowl. The also served Chinese food, and that was overall okay. I ordered from DoorDash and they didn't have a tofu option so I added extra meat and put a note to add tofu and they did it usually a lot of places don't so I'm very grateful I love this place. Also I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm so happy with the portion size!!!!!!! read more

Best fried rice I've had in a long time, got a portion big enough to feed 3 people for 15 bucks. The actual pho noodles were great, well seasoned with a good umami flavor, plenty of noodles, and good tasting meat. They appeared to be no older than eight years old, and there were no adults present. There were only two other tables seated in the entire restaurant, which was not exactly reassuring for a holiday evening. The atmosphere was bright and stark, a room with tables pretty much describes the ambiance. When I went to sit down, the chair was visibly dirty, so I had to swap it with another one. As we waited to be greeted, we noticed food splattered on the wall next to the tables in the dining area. Not a great first impression, but we had chosen this restaurant based on positive online reviews(??!!), had driven about 12 minutes to get there, and were hungry--so we decided to stick it out. That turned out to be a mistake. A few moments later, one of the children brought us menus and walked away. We reviewed the menu and waited. After about 10 minutes with no one returning, I went to the counter and asked the children playing video games if a waiter could come to our table. Shortly after returning to the table, one of the children came over to take our order. Confused as to why a child was waiting on us, we reluctantly placed our order. We were hungry. The wonton soup arrived first. It was just okay--maybe a 2 out of 5. The broth was warm, but the wontons were hard, bland, and tasted like they had been frozen. About 15 minutes later, our entrée arrived, this time delivered by an adult. I ordered walnut shrimp with a side of white rice. The plate arrived with a large clump of fried shrimp glued together in hardened sugar glaze, undercooked broccoli, and about six candied walnuts scattered on top. I was literally able to pierce the entire mass with my fork and lift it off the plate as one piece. While I'm sure it was prepared by the adult who served it, the presentation and execution were exactly what you might expect if an eight-year-old had cooked it. "Fried shrimp sugar ball" would be an accurate description. We were given only forks, making it difficult to separate anything from the clump. When I finally managed to pull off a shrimp and take a bite, I immediately spit it out--the shrimp had the shell fully intact, not just the tail. Assuming it was a mistake, I tried another shrimp. Same thing. Full shell again. I spit that one out too and gave up. The food was simply not edible. We waited several minutes for someone to check on us. When no one came I finally went back to the counter to request the check from one of the children--still no adult in sight. I reluctantly paid the bill and went home to make something to eat. I didn't include gratuity because there was no service. I would have moved on from this terrible experience but when I discovered the owner FRAUDULENTLY add a tip to the bill I had to share my experience with others. read more

This place was excellent! I was craving some pho while visiting Berthoud so we drove over to Longmont to check out this place based on existing reviews. You can tell all the food is made with love and this is a very small family owned business. The pho was delicious so I even ordered some Broccoli Beef to go which was also delicious. read more

The beef pho looked good and I got it to go. Unfortunately they package the broth and ingredients separately so the noodles were a gelatinous mass by the time I got to my hotel. My second attempt was the beef with broccoli lunch special. The fried rice was tasteless but at least the broccoli wasn't over cooked. read more

Authentic beef brisket and dry fried beef noodles are impossible to find in Colorado. I haven't tried the other dishes yet but these are fantastic and worth the drive from Boulder. If you want the real deal, order the beef brisket - the dish is enough for two. You can thank me later. read more

Was really sceptical given so few reviews, but we are so glad we took the chance. Such a hidden gem. A no frills no ambiance place. The acoustics don't help with loud conversations, but the food here is authentic. Excellent flavors and generous portions. Great service. Singapore noodles: nice variety of proteins. Al dente noodles. Delicious but a little light on the curry flavor. Beef brisket wonton noodles. Flavorful broth, beef chunks and tendon is cooked to perfection. Each bite of wonton is more protein and dough is just right! Thin enough to hold in the goodness! Ordered beef chow fun to go on the way out! Can't wait to get home to dig into that! Back again. We happened to be in Longmont again and had to stop here for dinner. Their food is so good! I grew up eating Chinese food in SF Chinatown, and the brisket here would rival any I've had there. We also picked up some beef chow fun and Singapore noodles for the week. The family is very nice and I really want to see this place survive. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. If you are used to Panda Express or PF Changs, this is nothing like those places. This is what real Asians eat. I just wish they would add salt and pepper fried fish to the menu. read more

Had an unfortunate experience with Sing On Pho. This location used to be Luu's Chinese, my go-to carry out. Over time the menu shrank and some favored dishes disappeared. Now it has transformed into a pho house. We ordered two pho dishes for carry out on a recent snowy Saturday night using their Beyond Menu app. Picked them up, sat down at home in front of Netflix, opened the packaging and found that the meat was missing from one of the dishes. I immediately called the restaurant and a nice lady said the manager would call me right back. No one called back. I called again the next night, as we had leftovers and could use the missing meat. The nice lady again said the manager would call back, but again, no one called. My conclusion - they don't care, and they are happy to keep money for product and services not delivered. The pho we did get was fine, but nothing special. Very disappointing. I get that it's a tough restaurant environment, but you have to at least try. read more

This is the place for which I have been searching. Great Asian food that is worth the price. Not the typical pre-fab frozen fritters and velvet meats you find elsewhere. Large portions that are not overseasoned and drowning in salt and sauce. I hope the location near the high school is appreciated by students; I only had a convenience store near mine. They even have student pricing for nutritious and well-portioned lunches. I think it formerly was a sub shop way back in the day when I lived nearby and wish they had been there then. Staff is very friendly and I will return when next again in the area. The Chow Fun is my recommendation. Noodle bowl is awesome too. Can't wait to try the Pho. read more
